The guy is still stating that Moopay LTD does not own MintPal so why does it say on Jason Yates (former Co-Founder & Director MintPal LTD) Linkedin page that it was sold to them. Look for it under experience

He said Moolah did not own Mintpal. I don't think he said Moopay did not own it.

From his resignation post  "Moopay LTD does not own MintPal Limited, though I do have a small stake in the holding company."

Course, I don't think we can believe anything he actually says anyway.

MY RED TRUST LEFT BY SCUMBAGS - READ MY SIG
let's not start with the dumb ass physical threats I don't condone anything like that and that would make you 10x worse than him.  He hurt people financially to make money, isn't hurting people for money in any way the root of all evil?

Complete agreement.

Completely agree too.

However I would like to propose that the altcoin community puts up a sizeable bounty for information leading to his arrest.

Yes, let's see this one pushed through to a satisfactory conclusion either way. I prefer to see this turd arrested and put away for fraud. Failing that then any other method of punishment is acceptable.  There needs to be a reason for scammers to stop scamming. This is holding back crypto more than anything else.

Cause for some reason a bunch of them thought it would be best to lie about all of it?

Reporter for CCN here. I'm following this as closely as possible.

I have 600 DRK and .04 BTC trapped on Mintpal.

Thanks for the CCN article, you guys nailed it.

Thanks very much. I've been talking with sources for the past 6 hours, fine tuning everything. Palmer, Green and others. I expect more movements tomorrow or within the next coming days.

MintPal article is slated for tomorrow as well. They received some bad comments from a respected player in crypto.

I think the key information now to dig up is - who really owns Mintpal and what deal was actually done with Mintpal / Moolah?

If "Green" can liquidate the entity that is liable for the consumer funds, poof coins are gone for sure.

But the paper trail is a bit convoluted as per savoque's findings: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.9219570

Like stonehedge said though, in the UK limited liability doesn't protect criminal directors, i'm looking into if we can find out who owns what we can get an injunction to stop them doing voluntary liquidation and get some criminal proceedings started.

i had 0 coins there
why ? because i keep my coins in my own wallets, usually backed up
why ? because no exchange is 100% 'bullet' proof...

next to be hacked are cryptsy, bittrex. and then bye bye altcoins industry ?

people need to keep their coins in own wallets. that is the whole point of decentralization.
besides if you keep your coins in your own wallet and send to exchange only when want to sell - there might be more value to your coins.
buy/mine... store... sell/use.

"if you keep your coins in your own wallet and send to exchange only when want to sell"

I always wondered when you people come and post this - please can you explain, if all the order books on exchanges are empty because they are keeping them in their wallet, how do people buy and sell coins?

Blocked out the address because I don't want to be "that guy"

And yet again... "with Ryan Kennedy"

Then there is this thread, which matches up with the above: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ryan-gentle-scamming-on-this-forum-306947

Here's some more from 2012 with the same name(s): https://encyclopediadramatica.se/index.php?title=Senshimedia&diff=prev&oldid=398058

Next up... https://www.facebook.com/LemonadeDev - Look who!

Is this our buddy rambling? http://btcfaucet.com/logs/lemon.txt I believe so

This post is getting long... http://www.reddit.com/r/usenet/comments/1cl17j/lemonadedev_is_a_scam_artist_be_wary_of_nuplaynzbx/

Then we have this guy, who supposedly has also been involved...http://antz29.com (Original Moolah whois)

"Ryan Francis Gentle, born 17/12/86 in Freedom Fields Hospital, Plymouth.
Couldn't even find Japan on a map, let alone live there for the years he claims to have.
Black belt in origami, and no more a qualified lawyer than my dog.
It's actually his sister who has had the health problems - his are all in his head.
I bet one of your bitcoins that there is not one person who has actually had any success in getting any joy from Ryan. He is a modern day Walter Mitty with only intentions of ripping people off.
So Ryan, if you're reading this - give it a fucking rest. It's getting boring now."

i got lucky and got 60+ darkcoins out of mintgox about 24-48 after v2 launched. i took one look at the new v2 ui and got out.

i think this was a scam from the beginning. looks like alex moolah took over mintpal in order to liquidate the coins they (mintpal) privately owned and then file for bankruptcy. they claim no customer funds/coins were dumped/traded and they still have them. time will tell.
based on past volume and blockchain analysis it looks like darkcoin was the biggest one he dumped. possibly around 70k+ in one week (10/7-10/14) and over 150k since he took over.
i can't imagine it's legal to take over/buy out a company and then empty the bank account of that company and sell all the companies assets and everything and then file for bankruptcy a few weeks later and double, triple or quadruple + your money.
