To The Moon !
I think the community members should all submit the support tickets to coinexchange regarding the MOON wallet maintenance.

Otherwise there is a good chance that your coins will stay with coinexchange forever Sad

https://coinexchangeio.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new

I and other members have sent them support ticket. So, we are waiting their answer.

Please check this announcement from Novaexchange:

https://novaexchange.com/news/

The Mooncoin owners need to withdraw their coins from this exchange.

It's sad to see NOVA closing. They were a good exchange but just didn't know how to change with the times.

NOVA has made a very good fame until the first announcement of closing in October of 2017. Their decision was a shock for their members. So, they couldn't change the situation in their second effort. The bear market was an important factor too.

didnt take long for them to shutdown again. i thought they will come stronger and better this time but doesnt happen.
mooncoin has been an old altcoin but they are missing the devs sincerity to move forward. community take over? usually this will not last long. hard to maintain the enthusiasm from its community. lets accept the fact that this might be dying very soon...

Every coin or project in Cryptos world, needs a strong community and developers about its success. In this period the game is in developers' hands.

Well cryptopia make the same decision earlier than nova exchange . More exchange is affected with the bear market plus daily traders use thier exchange decrease since there are many new exchange open when the bull market start in 4th quarter of 2017 .

Mooncoin

Been following the current progress of the mooncoin developments?

Still were months further and no one developer posts or anwsers simple questions!

The coinexchange fiasco keeps repeating and is by no means willing to get that wallet fixet!

as investors and moon members still are in the cloud of being not well informed is a major issue!

Nobody of the devolopment
nowhere to be found.

Rising demotivation is clearly an outcome when a coin losses any functonality.

The Exchanging of the coins itself lost when bluetrade also closed it's door!

Who O WHo has some forward idea's of how this matter can be fixed?

Good afternoon. I think that the developers are the only people who can give a final solution.
Mooncoin claims to be fast, simple, reliable and transparent. It was created to be “people-oriented,” becoming honest.
This is not like an “anonymous” coin, like others that are becoming popular. Cool

After almost 2 years of stagnation it's clear that without community there is no progress.
Devs come and go, and if we are just waiting for them, it looks for people like the coin is abandoned.
Mooncoin always was backed by the community, like Wikipedia when everyone is able to edit, with no contracts, salaries, companies behind it.
During this stagnation people became passive and probably begin to lose faith in MOON and even don't post in the thread.
However, your posts and ideas matter.
The Mooncoin community suggests and decides things about Mooncoin.

Regarding the Coinexchange issue old investors tried to contact them, but they didn't answer.
It's not a problem to send some MOON to them to reopen wallets,
the problem is it's needed to know their MOON address and the exact amount to send.
If they have lost some MOON, maybe that could happen (to a degree though, other services and users didn't report lost coins) due to outdated codebase of MOON, the latest release was made in Dec, 2017 by a previous dev: https://github.com/mooncoincore/wallet/releases.
Edit: other than that Mooncoin definitely has to increase its network hashrate, however, if there is no good progress (first of all, no wallet developments and no projects on top of Mooncoin blockchain), there is a lack of interest from miners and investors.

Good afternoon. I agree 100% with you. I have said it many times to the members of Development Team. This community needs positive news. Also, there are many potential investors who watch Mooncoin. However, they need to see some progress.

Any Active Devs here? Just got this email back from coinexchange.io

Hi tdinan1,

That might help actually. We have reached out a number of times to the MOON devs we have on gile and have had no response. They owe us balance due to invalid transactions on their chain before we can enable deposits and withdrawals.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Clayson Frost

it appears MOON qt (v0.13.9.0-b257fcdsegwit) does not return a valid 'content-length:' header in response to getnetworkinfo rpc requests
this causes curl requests to fail
(unless you use the --ignore-content-length option, in which case curl waits for a timeout which is
 not acceptable)

looks like a source-code format along the lines of %"PRIszu" is being used. (c++11 symbol name convention?)
but has the source symbol actually been defined?
