Dear Mooncoin users, miners and pools!
Some of you are still on an old wallet, compiled by deaconboogie (1.862.1) and on an old wallet, compiled by wb (1.875.1),
meanwhile in several days there will be a block 1,100,000, and people who do not have their wallets updated, will not be able to move coins (e.g. to exchanges).
Exchanges are on a new 0.10.5 wallet already.
For example, here is the snapshot from the Bleutrade exchange: http://archive.is/ULj9R with a notice that '[Moon] Wallet updated successfully'.
Block explorers indicate they are on a new 0.10.5 wallet, this info is available at their websites.
Severals pools updated the wallet.

Great work with Facebook Community Evangelo and as always MoonCoin Foundation your support and growth is always appreciated.  I hope in 2017 to bring some value as well and look forward to bringing more community involvement as well.

Thank you very much, couldn't do it without this community, campaigns will start officially running next week on Facebook $ mypayingcryptoads.com redirecting all online traffic to the mooncoin.com website and it's corresponding networks, I really like #2 that nico did, I really love the concept of the blue moon, it might be the beer too  Tongue

Thank you for your support.

What people do you think of new Mooncoin theme variants, provided by nico12321?
They all look not bad, which variant do you consider as the best one?

Please VOTE for MOON at https://mercatox.com!
It's free, you need to register an account first: only login and e-mail are required.
Mercatox offers a good service, it allows to deposit Fiat and then buy coins.
They run an active marketing campaign, advertise their exchange at coinmarketcap.com etc.

Don't forget to update the Mooncoin wallet before the block 1,100,000.
Links are in the OP.
The new 0.10.5 Mooncoin wallet was made and compiled by barrysty1e.
Thanks to him. You can PM him with your questions.

The wallet is fast and based on the latest Litecoin core and has DigiShield implemented.
If you are a miner, DigiShield will let you mine MOON more effectively.

Less hops. More wins.
People were asking for the new version of the Moonlite platform,
with GUI and more user-friendly features, people suggested some good ideas how to redesign it.
It is in progress now...

I really think that will be a huuge development.  Good job Mooncoin foundation!

Hello Mooncoin Family,

The Mooncoin Facebook page is pretty much ready to go, however, before starting advertising/PR campaigns, I would like some volunteer Admins, page moderaters, etc., the page runs more efficiently. Just need a few people to work with when it comes to updates and information! If you're interested please add me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/evan.baker.1297, again the link for the Official Mooncoin Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/mooncoincommunity/ Thanks everyone!

Added to the OP.
Great to see people's initiatives on MOON!

Count Down to block 1,100,000! Could the ML Explorer be categorized as a form of POW as well? or mining only? random question.

Moonlite is needed to be redesigned, people don't use a test version currently and that means that it's not excellent.
It works great technically, it's free, however the concept seems to be not ideal. People don't understand it and are not motivated to use it.
The Moonlite platform is just one of solutions, being built in the Mooncoin ecosystem, on top of Mooncoin blockchain.
You are welcome to create your own one, there are many opportunities.
We are just at the beginning today and have to find a winning strategy for MOON.
Try, create, experimentalize!

7.5 billion people, currently only about 29.5 MOON per person. Not too many, however can work.
If a coin has million supply, will not work. These coins were built with no future in mind...

Kidding me?The total coin is 385 Bilion?
Why need so huge number.Look back, all the good coin is less than 100milion.

You are misinformed. If you look at http://coinmarketcap.com,
XRP has a circulating supply of 37 billion, XEM - 9 billion, DOGE - 108 billion, BCN - 182 billion, SC - 24 billion,
and all these coins are quite successful.

What is wrong with the billion supply (except the biases and myths) can you ever say?
There are several billion people in this small world...
The billion supply better fits long term perspectives.
Yes 7 billion people, but in the "Internet of things" era there will be connected car, connected home, connected doors, connected dresses, etc ...700 billions connected things and more?

I have been sending MOON coins to people from Nova exchange and they are not confirming.

I sent these MOONcoins yesterday as reward for people voting on mercatox.  I am very embarrassed since they voted and now have not got their MOON coin thank you from me.

Can anyone here help to shed some light on why the sends are not confirming from Nova exchange to these other user?

Why don't you check your txs with block explorers?
Here is the first address from your screenshot:
http://cryptoguru.tk/Address/index.php?Currency=MOON&Address=2cFEUTBZkmnVxH89SYc3gbkPpoA587nvrF
It has successfully received 80000 MOON yesterday.
You can also check all other txs.

I think it was a problem on the nova side of things.  The person still does not have their MOON.  But I sent them MOON to another address at Bleutrade and it worked.  So it is not MOON system that is the problem.  Sorry about that..  What is the deal Nova exchange??

Is the exchange wallet not synced?  Do other deposits work?
Anyway it's not recommended to keep coins at exchanges,
if you do it, you depend on exchange admins.

ive noticed the node count has dropped again; i think nova's wallet is currently down.

novaexchange please contact me directly this time, as this is starting to become a regular occurrence.

385 Billion coins and still around compared to over 10,000 coins with less than 100 million that only lasted a few months if they were lucky. This is a huge accomplishment for MOON and it's community.
