No not all are a lie airdrop.Some are legit too.Its just that nowadays, hackers in cryptocurrency are just too many that almost all airdrop sprouting are all scams but there is still legit though, just be patient selecting and be cautious too.Since doing airdrop campaign is just easy like googledoc-based airdrop.
More and more airdrop is a lie, I do not recommend participation in airdrop, because there are at most a few 100 airdrop quality, so I think it should not be a waste of time.
The time that people waste on airdrop would be better spent on earning $100 at a permanent job and invested by them in a perspective coin in the market! There will be much profit!

I have not been an airdrop participant since it is true that you say, many are scam, I leave airdrop and start with bounty, now I prefer bounty, although there is also bounty scam, but not as much airdrop

it's true, for now too much airdrop is just a project out. in fact it's all a big lie. and already many tokens airdrop results that can not be made anything.
Well I don't think the main aim of the company or projects offering us airdrop is to waist or scam it participants but when the ICOs become unsuccessful the airdrop might turn out to be worthless, but if the project is successful airdrop will become another avenue to be part of the project and to earn they tokens. So I don't agree on the expression that airdrops are Lie's.

I do not expect much in airdrop because majority of them is a waste of time and effort. You have to be more selective in choosing airdrop if you want to earn. I suggest that you find an alternative way to earn like trading.
Airdrops today is just a lie, they use airdrops as their front to get advantage ro every single person who apply or join the airdrop. And the worst is some of the airdrops today is not real. Don’t know ehat is real and if you are realy dedicated you will not depend in airdrop, you will work hard for everything.

For me, airdrop is still profitable since it is free. Yes there are many airdrops which does not have value but we need to choose which we think has value. One thing that airdrop is good potential is when it has thread here. Airdrop is meant only for gathering thousands of people in Telegram or Twitter, they are paid for it with 10-20 coins which won't be in trade and to transfer them from the wallet to the exchange will cost more ETH than their real price! Waste of time!
I think you are quite right to some extent, the rate at which airdrops comes out these days are much and most are now becoming a shit, and an attempt to scam people. We just need to be careful when applying for airdrop. Any airdrops that request for your private key numbers or request you to sign with your wallet address before distributing the tokens should be ignore this is nothing than means of scamming. We just need to be vigilant enough to know which airdrop should we go for.
When I first started doing bounty campaigns and really did not understand everything, I did airdrops, pieces of a hundred a day and did not understand that this is a waste of time. I never not one good coin is not received, but spam in my Inbox I got very, very much! So I won't advise anyone to spend time on it.
I think most airdrops are nothing but trash.. on the other hand sometimes we can catch good ones eventhough it’s really hard to find. Well, if you have enough time feel free to join 
Airdrop never gave me a token. Until now I still wonder why airdrop can provide free token? What are their advantages to daring to give away free tokens? Different with bounty that must work to advertise token from ICO.

Ofcourse more and more airdrops os a lie. In such market sitiation we had 80% of scam ICOs, and as the result 95% of SCAM airdrops.
