I think this just might work! Trading's a little too close to gambling anyway, just without those extra bells and whistles. So you could easily market trading as a means for these gambling addicts to redirect their desires to waste money on something that would really help them. Although what I'm concerned about is the gateway effect you know. Since trading's a little too similar to gambling, this may urge these gamblers to get back on to gambling anyway instead of learning piles and piles of learning materials just so they can trade effectively. Either way I see potential in the concept and I would love to see if people capable of making this happen will do so. Otherwise it's just going to be yet another of those ideas that we had in this forum which never really happened in real life.

Gambling is actually very in demand and has become rampant these days. Regardless of their knowledge or skill, people go for gambling to try their luck and even chase for quick big profits. However, my only concern is that if these gamblers will be taught about bitcoin investing, which is certainly a long term investment, I don’t think they will be patient enough to wait for that long before they’ll gain massive profits. And might as well they’ll be investing like gambling in the end. But of course, some gamblers can easily shift their mindset from being a gambler into an investor. As everyone can invest, but not everyone is capable to make it succeed.

So many of those people are interested in gambling not in cryptocurrency investment and especially bitcoin, gamblers believe that gambling or staking some of their money will make them get rich instantly instead of investment, I believe that some of them are not informed of bitcoin investment because its when you give someone the advantages of leaving gambling to invest in bitcoin  is when the person will be informed.

Gamblers will be gamblers though, did you know that the first use case of bitcoin is gambling itself? So for sure majority of crypto gamblers knows about bitcoin and it's history and it's potential to be a investment.

So there could be gamblers who invest here, but if you talk about gamblers in fiat, well we can't really say though, maybe they are don't know about bitcoin and crypto. But I will tell you that its hard to convince a gambler to be a investor, just saying.

It will be challenging for a gambler to let go of the behavioral attitude that gambler addicts exhibit. That is greedy and hasty to earn rich.

It won't be simple to ask a gambler addict to switch from gambling to investing in Bitcoin at first since they have to let go of attributes like being greedy and wanting to become rich soon because they lose money. When people learn that investing in bitcoin involves patience to wait for profits as opposed to gambling, where they don't have to wait as long, that kind of advice will seem absurd to them.

In other words, it will be challenging to persuade a gambling addict to give up gambling. You may only advise them to reduce their attitude toward gambling. If they choose, they can invest in bitcoin

Agreed, well i think then this discussion came to an end ( i know other members also shared their thoughts too which are valuable) between us only. Because it is damn difficult to safe them from gambling addiction but as i said only those addicts will be cured who really admits that they are addicts and wanted a way out of it.

And the numbers  of such addicts are considerable in the society. So, in order for them to leave the gambling they must need another way of income which might be provided by investing in BTac like maybe through holding or trading.

In my opinion those individuals who are involved in gambling cannot change their addiction because they feel like gambling is a quick way of earning but in reality gambling is a quick way of losing money.

If they are informed about bitcoin then first of all they will not believe and if fortunately they believe then they will put money into bitcoin without knowledge and will think as they will get profit according to their lucks like that of gambling so there will be no change in bitcoin or gambling.

Gamblers often use their emotions like if they loss money then they regularly use their money in hope to enhance their money one day so in due to this behavior they loss their whole amount of money and start borrowing money from others while that of in investment of trading emotions should be under control and after two consecutive losses first try to know your mistakes then again take forward step towards it.

Yes you told correct, now a days many people in our country being addicted in gambling. For gambling need huge knowledge. Without proper knowledge anyone cannot gain from gambling. It is also true many people in our country lossing everything  from gambling. On the other hand Bitcoin is fully different. From Bitcoin investment people gaining from here. Although it could be a good idea and investing should really be ahead of gambling, this isn't really possible. Gamblers don't have the will or time to invest in something and wait for it to make a profit, it just takes the joy from them. The thing with gambling is that you can play many different games, gamble on different stuff and it is so flashy and attention getting, it fills the gamblers dopamine receptors so they can easily be addicted.

In any case, they get more fun out of it and they know the result of their bet almost instantly and if they win money - it just digs deeper. I think gamblers and investor are themselves for a reason, so there is no point of mixing them if they don't want to change. Also I don't think we should motivate them into anything before helping cure the addiction.

Whatever games they play in fiat casinos, are also found in Bitcoin casinos. There is nowhere else they can go but will always be close to temptation.
But these addicts could be turned into a trader though. Its a more appropriate I think than to make them hold which they may not be able to resist the urge to bet especially if they find the games they like playing in popular casinos. Turning them into traders means they will have something to learn about and keep them occupied to learn about charts.

This sets of people are very difficult to predict since they are routed into gambling they believe it would be more beneficial to gamble.
You know gambling may have a very big chance to hit a fortune from it than investment who might take years to yield a meaningful profits, so most gamblers may not love the idea to invest in bitcoin since is not faster way to make money.

If these guys of your idea are addicted and switch to trading, there is no difference, or let's say not to trading to buy bitcoin, well... surely they are obsessed with selling any belongings to buy whenever they can, and when the bitcoin goes up or down in price comes the lack of control and begins to manifest the same symptoms that you would have if they do bets.

That being said, we are entering a discussion away from this board, bitcon discussion, there is none, the fact that you target bitcon and bet in your context is not relevant to deepen, obviously there is a "reply" but to fall into the same thing, the addiction It is a disease.

There is a big difference between gambling and investing because while the investment is done with profits being the main aim,  gambling on the other hand is done mainly for cash fun,  unless for those who take gambling as a means of earning a daily income which is not possible to achieve., so for that I believe there is a mixup After all, some of the addicts can't get over the forces that control them.

For anyone to choose between the two it then means that you have to make predetermined plans for each,  it's more easier to gamble than invest because with a few cents, you may gamble but to invest one need a huge amount to buy a good amount of Bitcoin.

Gambling and Bitcoin are completely different things. The main work of investors is investing and the work of gamblers is gambling. But for the gamblers who are addicted to gambling, even though there are some obligations in gambling, it is completely different. But there is no assurance that you will get profit from investing in Bitcoin. On the other hand, there is no gambler who will win or lose in gambling. observing both of the two aspects a gambler and investor must prioritize what he wants.

You are right, it is always difficult to convince addicted ones to avoid an action to which they are addicted. But I think OP just wanted to say we might use BTC and Cryptocurrency as a tool to lure them into thinking that they would also earn money out of BTC but at a lesser risk as all they wanted to do is earn money by doing nothing. Because gambling and crypto have different levels of risk and gambling has the most risk involved.

Addicted gamblers will no doubt sell all of their savings and household things just to gamble more and there are many Crypto gambling projects there too, so we have to be careful while dealing with such sensitive cases. like, addicts. I think once we convinced them the benefits of investing in BTC over gambling then they might change their minds too but i know the possibilities are near to zero because only those can be cured who wanted to otherwise other gambler will just waste your time.

But in fact, if the gambler is informed about bitcoins, maybe he will use bitcoins to deposit on gambling sites. Now there are many gambling sites that use bitcoins and altcoins. They don't need kyc so it's safer. Maybe, gambling addicts don't stop, they can even get more addicted

What do you mean about making money on forums about campaign signatures? Yes it is true but gambling addicts don't want money, all they have in their heads are jackpots and jackpots. Your idea is great in fact, there must be many gamblers who might have left gambling due to the unpredicted risk it contains and addiction to gambling is the worst thing to happen to someone because it changes the lives of addicts. I agree with you, because if we taught them about BTC and how they can earn money through trading then they will definitely leave gambling and step into it. But you must know that there are many gambling sites in crypto too. Which might attract them instead of their good guidance. we might have provided them with another platform to gamble.

I do not think the knowledge of bitcoin talk is that necessary because to be here you do not have to get knowledge about bitcoin talk as we know BTT is not a computer that we have to learn before usage but instead, it is a book that contains useful information about crypto and BTC.

The "get rich quick" syndrome is part of the issue rather than betting for good reasons. Bitcoin won't make such people rich over night so they may not be attracted to it or stay long enough. This is why it's never a good idea to attract them to Bitcoin or even this forum for money, unsupervised.
First of all, let them know about the ideas behind Bitcoin, and where Bitcoin enthusiasts, fans, supporters, etc tend to gather to talk Bitcoin, and see whether they like the idea, if not, let them be else they will come & start chasing after money and gambling again in Bitcoin space instead of contributing to its growth and development.
 If you wish to help them financially, it's better to have a qualified person guide them or just manage their investments for them.
Only the disciplined ones or talented people who are passionate about Bitcoin ideals could be left in this space alone.

How sure are you that they will made money if they would've invested their money into Bitcoin? Investing into Bitcoin = gambling if they don't know it. Yes we can inform them as well, but the question is, are they interested in learning it? There is a potential that they can earn money investing into Bitcoin yes, but do they like it? Or they would just prefer gambling their money. Like you, we also so lots of people losing their money in gambling as well.

We have a neighbor who got addicted into gambling as well, and now he's having a hard time sustaining his daily needs, and it came also to a point where he needs to beg to other people just to have something to eat.

Like what I said, joining this forum would be useless if they aren't interested in Bitcoin at all. If they are then they can join here, do research, and learn. There are lots of information here where they can learn anything about Bitcoin. On the other hand though, joining here in the forum doesn't guarantee that they will stay away from gambling.

With what you said, you're not criticizing gambling at all so no worries.
TBH, gamblers can become investors as well, so they can still gamble, but at the same time invest into Bitcoin. That's if they are rich. Maybe there are some gamblers out there who don't care about losing money because they're happy just by doing their hobby which is to gamble.
