The results of free practice 2 in Aragon can be seen if the motor with great power dominates the results.
Yamaha only leaves Quartararo at the top. A challenge for Quartararo to win, seeing last season he was bad result in here.

Just forget for practice, we have the result who have the best starting grid today.

1. Bagnaia
2. Miller
3. Quartararo
4. Marquez
4. Martin
6. Espargaro

I am still on Quartararo, he will stand on the podium. maybe will be competing with the Ducati team (Bagnaia and Miller), but for Marquez, I won't expect too much, I know he always crashes, he really insists on taking up his speed while tilting but is unable to maintain balance. He didn't found his best performance yet. what else Rossi.

I see the same, very good for Verstappen not only that Verstappen has extended points on Hamilton but also tomorrow has a very very good starting position for tomorrow to be able to make even more points. The two McLaren are not easy opponents for Hamilton and the Mercedes are no longer as superior as in recent years. Hope that next year 3 or even better 4 manufacturers are at the same performance level, is a wishful thinking but not impossible.
Hamilton is faster in lap time over Mclaren but they are very fast in top speed.
If he will not be able in overtaking them the only way he got is to undercut them.
Verstappen will be easier to overtake.
Hamilton managed to fail the start of sprint qualifying to miss not only Verstappen, which in itself is already bad, because it was already clear from previous races that Red Bull and Max are able to defend the leading position throughout the race, but he made trouble for himself, because now he will also have to break through Ricciardo and Norris and now can only hope for a successful start in the race or as quickly as possible to bypass the McLaren drivers, as well as all sorts of surprises. Obviously, Mercedes is already very sorry that they lost Bottas ' leadership positions due to the change of the power plant. In any case, Mercedes has obvious problems both with tactics and also with team tactics, and this may well manifest itself again on Sunday.

Tomorrow Max Verstappen will be on pole as Bottas changed engine during Friday practice because the engineers noted something suspicious and they had not time to investigate the issue so they got to change a new power unit to the Bottas car which by the rules will make him drop to the end of the grid.Max Verstappen will officially start P1 tomorrow and this is a great chance to extend his lead over Hamilton if he manages to get first after the first corner, which is not easy though as there is a lot of straight before reaching first turn here.
yeah unless Hamsilton fixes his start tomorrow and gets past Norris at first lap his chances of catching up with Verstappen are slimmer especially when Bottas is not going to be with him to help him if hr requires his help.
Norris have shown himself at the Sprint Race that he is not so easy to overtake and its possible for him to make him slow down while his team mate Ricciardo gains a gap that will also make get him far away from Hamilton.
So unless RBR screw up something in strategy or something goes wrong in pitlane and that's very rare especially when it's Verstappen so I expect Verstappen to get his first podium and win at Monza.

So, Top 3 of sprint race is Bottas, Verstappen and Ricciardo. Hamilton just 5th. It's a bit sad that Bottas will have to start last tomorrow because of engine penalty - he looks very good this weekend. Hamilton had one of worst starts in recent seasons. Verstappen haven't won, but he should be happy because he will start 1st tomorrow snd Lewis will be behind 2 Mclaren's.Mclaren is also very fast on this track and I'm very happy to see my favourite driver Ricciardo starting in front row after long break.

What a disaster for Hamilton he will now start behind Verstappen and McLarens.

He needs a god start or how we saw it will be very hard to pass both Norris and Riccardo, they have a very high top speed.

Again a very weak performance from Yamaha in Aragon except from Quartararo, he is just in a very good shape and gets more out of the Yamaha than the bike is actually able to.

But just a mad lap of Bagnaia, new track record, can anyone beat this time? I think no 🤔

Vaccinized.. immunity level is full.
Well ...Bottas always sandbagged in a way or another just to make sure he finished 2nd or 3rd to make room for Lewis but today things were a little different and it was about time that some ego from inside him will show up and drive like he has nothing to lose which is exactly his case now. Tomorrow, sprint race in Monza ? I can't wait for it and we might have some surprises as Temple of Speed always delivers.

Bottas was always shadowed by Hamilton in Mercedes. Maybe that’s what his role was. But now that he is in a new place, I’m hoping he will get the primary role to push for the win. and I never had doubt in his driving skills. The car though might be an issue as Mercedes’ car almost always has the edge in straight tracks like Monza’s. But still, very eager to watch Bottas race in a new environment.

Bottas pole.  Cheesy  I think we’re going to see more of this for the rest of the year.  Bottas mad.

I think maybe it's Bottas relaxed. All year he has been under immense pressure to do something to keep his Mercedes seat. Now it's all settled, not what he wanted, but still, the release of pressure must be immense. He has had a point to prove all season, and in previous seasons too, but now he can do it without fear of consequences. I'd imagine that's hugely liberating... in much the same way as we see with football teams, they lose all season and are bottom of the table, and then as soon as their relegation is confirmed, they lose all pressure and start playing well.

The Mercedes powered cars are fast in this track as it’s mostly straights and not much turns.  Check out the top 4 right now if you’re watching quali.  Hamilton, Bottas, Norris and Ricciardo.  Lol.

Edit:  Ok..  This is weird.  Giovinazzi is in Q3.  Lmao.

Edit:  Bottas pole.  Cheesy  I think we’re going to see more of this for the rest of the year.  Bottas mad.
Yeah those Engines that Mercedes have are so strong but I expected more from Aston Martin both cars were out in Q2 and didn't make it to Q3 I guess Giovinazzi knocked one of them out, the performing well in qualification recently he was in Q3 for two races in row now I guess he is racing had to keep his seat for Alfa Romeo next season since he is there because the junior racing driver that Ferrari got a seat to him for seeling their engines for the Italian team.
But next season that is done and Alfa Romeo have the liberty to get the drivers they want.
And back to Mercedes engines and their strategy is looking like a masterplan,
First t Bottas gets to help Hamilton gets pole position on sprint race.
Secondly Bottas changes his Whole Power Unit that going to make him start last on raceday no matter which results he gets in Sprint race.
Mercedes thought this really through Bottas gets a fresh Power Unit to drive for the rest of the season and they know that Monza is a power hungry circuit and there is no problems in overtaking so he can even get to podium if things gets for his favore Specially with that new power unit he can push it more.

After the results of the qualifying session, it felt really different to see Bottas taking the first place by a marvelous lap time. Because we are very accustomed to see Verstappen or Hamilton taking the first place.  Grin  Hamilton was really close to leave Bottas behind but he was left behind by a little less than 0.1 seconds. Verstappen couldn't get what he wanted but there is no problem actually. Because this result only determines the grid for the sprint race. Let's see who will take the position and which drivers will get the extra points by ending in top 3.

Didn't watched qualifying. So, Bottas won, but does it really matter? Qualifying in Monza isn't that important, like in Zandvoort last week. And especially considering that we will have sprint race before main race. I guess that Bottas will lose 1st place before first turn tomorrow. And yeah, Mercedes looks really good in this track, it will be difficult for Verstappen.

Actually maybe is better to end third not first or second since from start to 1st turn is a long way and you will have a lot of clean air if you start behind one car.
Mercedes seem to be so much better on this track they can even let Max pass without risking in the 1st turn and overtake him later.

The track as you know is very fast the sprint race will be very spring, 20-25 minutes maximum in duration.

~snip~

If this goes according to schedule, there will still be 7 races remaining. Can Quartararo fail to win the title? Or will he be smooth towards his world title? If Quartararo crash in every Race i think will easy to calculate, but seems impossible.

~snip~
There are still seven draws remaining if the maximum points calculated is 150 points. The possibility of catching up is still there although it is very slim and almost impossible. Quartararo will also think about staying steady on the podium or staying in the race so as not to fall to keep the points.

Next in the series is Aragon, I've read that Quartararo is very unlucky here. He has never reached the top five while competing in 3 different classes. Last year's history Quartararo won pole position but finished 18th.
