Sadly there was not another rain coming down. Hamilton or hamiltons crew made a clear mistake by not letting him change the tyres before the restart but i would still say that he is the second biggest winner of this weekend next to ocon of course. Hamilton managed to reach the podium again with rank 3 and will get 15 points for that. He now made 40 points in the last 2 races which are 39 more than verstappen and, at least in my opinion, didn't do anything wrong in those two races he was jsut massively unlucky.. especially today. I just hope that the championship will not be decided by those last two races because that would be a real shame. Vettel on position 2 makes me happy at least.

Holy f,Esteban Ocon wins,I wonder what were the odds to him before the race,most probably nearly 100x your stake.Sometimes accident happens in F1 just like a couple years back in Mugello or Monza don't remember well where Pierre Gasly won and the odd for him at that race was above 100x so I think some times we should just throw 1 EUR for these outsiders.Anyway a fully deserved win leading for him which his last win was in GP3.

He is still young, if the injury is gone I'm sure he can still compete. I didn't expect him to be a test rider like Lorenzo. It looks like this half of the season will be exciting if Marquez really recovers. I think he's just waiting for the day, as long as he doesn't fall and get seriously injured again. His desire to race looks strong.

I'm glad you were right and it didn't turn out to be a boring race. There will probably be a new winner today for the first time in a while.

Alfa Romeo blew it with the unsafe release, but it looks good for Williams to get into the points with both cars, which is not a matter of course with the Williams, even if many cars were eliminated in the first lap today.

For another rain, I don't believe...

Strangest start I have ever seen, only one car on the grid. A clear mistake by Hamilton and Mercedes, all the cars passed Hamilton and change the tires at slicks.

The luck Hamilton had at the first start, they have now lost at the second start. But that's racing.

Well it's definitely not a boring race but what an unlucky one for verstappen again. He was kicked out of the race in turn 1 by bottas and now it looks like the bottom section of his chassis is damaged and i am pretty sure, that he will not win a single point in this race. Bottas will probably get a penalty for that but that doesn't really matter because hamilton was untouched in this incident and will probably score another 25 points in this race while Verstappen will probably not win any points or only a few. It loos like everything is going against Verstappen now which makes me very sad because i really hoped for an open championship this year until the next race. Lips sealed

I think Bottas was sleeping during the start of the race,he was the slowest starter and he was not careful at all to brake when needed,he braked really really late which brought the red flag together with some good drivers out of the race.Now I don't know if the mechanics of RedBull will be able to fix Verstappen car suspension in the these minutes while the race is stopped because of red flag.If Verstappen car will not be fixed it is going to be an easy win for Hamilton and even if it fixed Hamilton I think will win anyway.Only a big rain,a intensified one compared to the one who is falling right now can change the fate of this race.

Luck is really on Hamilton's side at the moment, with both world championship chasers Verstappen and Norris shot down by Bottas. The damage to Verstappen's car is significant and is said to cost a second per lap if it can't be repaired. The momentum is clearly with Hamilton at the moment.

In the current live feed of the Hungarian Grand Prix, it does not look like rain, now it depends on the start, if there is not much, there will be little change in the standings except possibly in a safety car phase.

Once waiting for the start and hope Verstappen have a fast Start and a little bit Glück at the first corner.

It looks like we are going to see a wet race finally if the weather stays like that rainy.We need this for the F1 race today as in normal conditions there is not much to see here where overtaking is almost impossible and both Mercedes cars are starting from the front row.In normal conditions it is going to be a sure win for a Mercedes car.

I'm looking forward to this series after almost a month off. There are still many series, many possibilities happen. But in some media I read that many predict Quartararo as the champion. Regarding ducati, I'm very surprised they were able to make almost the same bike. The temporary ranking results can show that. That's why we as spectators should hope for rain and a good start from Max, otherwise it will be a boring race without overtaking manoeuvres.

The start could be very interesting, with Verstappen on the softs. It's been said that softs give you probably an extra 5 metres going into turn 1... so if Verstappen gets away well off the line, then he could overtake both Mercs for a sensational beginning to the race. Not sure how likely it is, but it's possible. It would perhaps have been very likely if only he'd managed to sneak P2 and get a front row place.

Spa is fun even without the rain the best thing for the entrainment is to have the rain on tracks with high drag and low chances of overtaking. Just my 2 cents.

I must admit that I'm quite surprised about the result of the qualifying session. I was expecting Verstappen to take the pole position. He was actually faster than Hamilton in Q1 and Q2. But in Q3, something started going wrong for Verstappen. He tried a different tyre set and he complained about the grip. And we saw its reflection on his time also. This helped Hamilton take the pole even easier. Verstappen couldn't even take the 2nd place.

But in the race, I believe that Verstappen will have a really aggressive and great start and leave Bottas behind already. When it comes to the winner, I still think that Verstappen can win this race.
