American Graffiti
The American President
American Gigolo (one of Bruckheimer's first movies!)
American Splendor...

We could go on and on.
nice one  Grin

Yeah, I had totally forgotten about that one. Saw it for the first time a few years back and was surprised to see Jerry bruckheimer's name on a Paul Schrader film.

Coincidentally almost every movie with the word "american" in the title is good:

American Psycho
American Hustle
Anerican Gangster
American Pie
American History X

I know there are a few im forgetting...

How can you forget American Beauty? Probably my favourite film.

Same here... What a great film.

American Haunting sucked!
And let's not forget American Ninja  Roll Eyes

The American was pretty good, though.

I'd add Eden Lake to that list. I also enjoyed All the Boys Love Mandy Lane recently, but I wouldn't say it's necessarily great. I love Amber Heard, though.

Eden Lake is great and is recommended for a horror that is a little bit different. I've wanted to see All the Boys Love Mandy Lane for years but never got round to it. Is it another run of the mill horror or is there something else to it?
I remember watching Eden Lake, I watched it with my gf and we were both cheering for that poor girl, we hoped she kills all the spoiled brats. Cheesy
Mandy Lane was rather a thriller than a horror, looked like it borrowed the idea from Scream. The girl was nice, so It wasn't a waste of time.

My latest movie Reasonable Doubt, check the trailer on YT if you haven't seen. Nice thriller.

The one with Sam Jackson & Dominic Cooper in? And yeah, the ending is fucked to Eden Lake

I'll be starting the Bleu/Blanc/Rouge trilogy by Kieslowski... Has anyone seen any of the three films?

Her, the movie was excellent.

If you liked "Being John Malkovich but you wanted something that was more realistic this movie is going to please.

I thought Her was great as well. Probably my favorite of the nominees this year, though it won't win except maybe for best screenplay.

I wasnt too into "her."  I had pretty hopeful expectations for it as well

Anyone here fan of overindulgent movies like INCEPTION ..? many people say its overrated all i'll say to them is i'm sure you still ask people " What happens at the END " :p lol

It's not about what happens at the end; it's about what you personally think happened. In other words, are you a glass half full or half empty kind of person?

I'm a it depends on whether you're filling the glass up or emptying it kinda guy, so I don't know what went on haha. But I do think Inception is great, regardless of the ambiguity.

It's not a perfect film by any means, but in terms of huge box office hits with a slew of stars, I think it's very solid.

Loved Inception. One of those films that just doesn't get old.
