The site I use to host my files - hosted by Verizon - appears to have gone offline.  I'm guessing this is the culmination of a series of serious Verizon messups.

I'll post more info when I have it.

Any other reliable places to download?

Not at the moment.  If they don't fix the problem, I'll find some other provider.

Here's a copy I downloaded a few days ago, uploaded it to my dropbox for those who need it: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/24462711/MMinerMonitor52.zip

Quick feature request (n00b here), can we have the ability to turn off/on info being displayed in the title bar?  I have the window hanging out on a small external monitor and it updates frequently, but one of my miners doesn't respond as quickly as the others, and for whatever reason the title bar text jumps side to side and its a bit distracting.   Tongue

That should be doable.

If I view the ALERT SETTINGS page, where you can select what miner you have then can select different triggers, like fan speed, hash speed, Xcount. I'll fill that out and save it. Exit the program and go back to that ALERT SETTINGS screen and there won't be anything there. All the fields will be blank. So I'm thinking if the program ditches the alerts by itself, I won't get alerted in anyway.
Have to add SMS/TEXT, additional email address space and throw some colors in there. Yea, I'll compensate for sure, but it has to be working. I don't mind paying someone for their efforts. Just like any software.

What miner type do you select?  If you can paste or PM me a screenshot of what you set that then disappears, I might be able to figure out what's going on.

I haven't done much research into SMS, but I'm pretty sure that requires access to a vendor or something to get into the SMS network.

What are you looking for email wise?  I know what's there is barely functional, and that's because of Microsoft limitations.  But I suspect you mean more than.

Colors?

As for compensation, donations are always welcome, but frankly, there isn't time available right now. Sad

EDIT: Also, if I wanted to view my miners on another computer do I need to get another key? Because I can't seem to get to that page without requesting another key.

If you are referring to web.mobileminerapp.com there is a link to login in the upper-right. If you are on a mobile the nav will be collapsed - click the hamburger icon in the upper-right.

Personal text my ass....
My triggers disappear most of the time with version 5.2. I'll click save, exit the program and load it up again and they will be gone. So the alerts aren't working which is what I really want to use the software for. Also, I tried three different SSL SMTP servers, does no work. Forced to use non-SSL SMTP. Also need another space where you can put multiple email addresses in case you want to send more then one person.

Can you give me some specifics?  What miner type, and what alerts do you enable that don't save?

You mean through Mobile Monitor?  I'm not sure, I'm not at all familiar with how that works.

I had two Bitmain S4s being hosted offsite.  Recently, the PSU blew shortly after the 90 day warranty expired.  Apparently that's not uncommon with S4s.  Like others, Bitmain basically said "too bad, so sad" and refused to replace the junk PSU.  They then admitted their supplier only gives a 90 day warranty on their PSU.  In other words, the PSU is junk.

Ouch!  That sucks.  Sorry you got bit.

Sorry to hear about your troubles mdude - those S4's were an abomination, if they weren't going "POP" then the fans would clap out - so glad I steered clear of them.

Hope you get an S3 sorted  Wink

Buyer beware of Bitmain hardware and services.

I was looking to buy a used S3 as cheap as possible to be able to debug my app with Bitmain junk, I mean, hardware.

That's no longer the case.  I have no intention of ever spending another penny on Bitmain.

If someone would like to donate an S3 to me, that'd be great.  Otherwise it's quite possible that my app will never again fully support Bitmain junk.

My terms are:

- I don't care how beat up it is, or even if it's fully functional.  As long as it works long enough for me to test with it.
- I will not use it for mining.
- I will not resell it.

Please PM if you're interested in donating.

Hey mdude,

Is it possible to add email alerts for miners that come up with ERROR?  I see an option to attempt reboot but nothing that will send email alerts. I've got a couple of S5's that just stop hashing and report as ERROR on the Output tab but if I'm not around, I don't get the alert.  It's not possible to reboot them so the "Attempt to reboot" option on the Reboots page, doesn't do me any good.

Thanks for considering this and especially for your commitment to the community!

This type of functionality is on my to do list.  The basic idea is you indicate what you want to happen for a given scenario.

That said, I'm still extremely tight on time.  I don't know when I'll be able to do this.

Hi mdude,

A while back I had sent you the output from a KNC Titan, did you ever look into if it would be possible to add support for it?

Hello.  It's in my inbox.  I'm pretty sure it's possible, and it's on my to do list.  It's a matter of time.  Right now there isn't much spare time to work on this. Sad

M

Cool. thanks for the update. Smiley

The automatic reboot function still does not appear to be functioning.  I loaded the latest version (5.3b1) and attempted to auto-reboot.  However, the attempt failed, as evidenced by the following log:

3/22/2015 2:04:22 PM: M's Miner Monitor v5.3b1 starting
3/22/2015 2:04:22 PM: Initiated Ant refresh
3/22/2015 2:08:09 PM: Rebooting S3:1.103 because it's been up more than the specified uptime before rebooting.
3/22/2015 2:08:09 PM: Not rebooting S3:1.103 because it is marked as Do Not Reboot
3/22/2015 2:08:09 PM: Rebooting S3: 192.168.1.108 because it's been up more than the specified uptime before rebooting.
3/22/2015 2:08:09 PM: Not rebooting S3: 192.168.1.108 because it is marked as Do Not Reboot
3/22/2015 2:08:09 PM: Rebooting S2: 192.168.1.110 because it's been up more than the specified uptime before rebooting.
3/22/2015 2:08:09 PM: Not rebooting S2: 192.168.1.110 because it is marked as Do Not Reboot

Of course, I double checked and confirmed that the "Do Not Reboot" box is not actually checked.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks,

I'm at a loss as to why this is happening.  It's behaving correctly here for me in my somewhat virtual environment (I don't physically have any miners any more onsite).

If there's someone who has this problem who is comfortable using regedit, would you mind doing me a favor?

With the app shut down, please go the registry key HKeyCurrentUser\Software, and rename the key MAntMonitor to something else, like zMAntMonitor.  Then restart the app, and readd/reconfigure some of your miners, and see if you still have this problem.

In v5.2 I cant seem to get my s3's to reboot when I right-click the miner that needs to be rebooted.

I have been able to do it in the past with the older versions.

If you   check the log, you'll probably see it's thinking the "do not reboot" option is enabled and refuses to reboot the miner.  That appears to be a known issue right now.
