Zumindest das Argument mit den 6 Monaten kann ich entkräften. Bei mir hat es Sommer letztes Jahres keine 4 Wochen gedauert, bis ich von der ersten Email über den Papierkram das Geld auf dem Konto hatte.
Was nicht heißt, dass ich irgendjemandem dazu raten würde, seinen Claim zu verkaufen. Ich habe lange gezögert und nur angenommen, weil ich das Geld für den Einstieg in eine Firma sehr gut gebrauchen konnte und ich mir dadurch eine Kreditaufnahme ersparte.
Der Ablauf von Seiten der Anwaltskanzlei Baker & McKenzie ist absolut professionell, da braucht sich keiner Gedanken zu machen. Ich würde eher vermuten, dass Michael Hourigan bei den aktuellen Kursen allmählich die Lust vergeht, soviel für die Claims zu bezahlen.

Das Problem an der ganzen Sache ist das Du au die angewiesen bist wenn Du dir BTC auszahlen lässt, das kann bis zu 6 Monate dauern... Und dann weiß man auch nicht zu welchem Kurs Du die BTC bekommst - Für mich zu undurchsichtig.

Das ist zumindest nicht mein Verständnis der Sachlage....
Das wäre für mich persönlich ein essentieller Bestandteil der Rehabilitation. Deine und meine Meinung interessiert nur niemanden - obwohl, ja, wir werden wohl evtl. irgendwann abstimmen dürfen, ob Mr. Kobayashi unsere noch vorhandenen BTC dumpen soll und Mark das daraus resultierende Fiat ausgezahlt bekommt, Fiat und Rest-BTC unter den Gläubigern verteilt werden oder Mark Burger braten soll (die letzte Option wird wohl nicht zur Abstimmung gebracht).

Das ist zumindest nicht mein Verständnis der Sachlage.Wir befinden uns in der Civil Rehabilitation, was aber nicht automatisch bedeutet, dass das Insolvenzverfahren damit hinfällig wäre.
Vielmehr ist es so, dass im Rahmen der Civil Rehabilitation eine Einigung zwischen einer bestimmten Quote der Gläubiger und MtGox gefunden werden muss.
Sollte eine solche Einigung nicht möglich sein, fallen wir automatisch zurück in die Insolvenz.
Aber ich kann mich irren, so ganz steige ich bei diesem Ding nicht mehr durch

Alle User, welche damals die "supplementary online method" oder "offline method" nutzen, um ihre Ansprüche zu stellen, erhalten nun solch ein Schreiben. Mit dem enthaltenen PIN-Code kann man sich dann im "online system" anmelden und hat Zugriff auf seinen Account. Warum nutzte man die "supplementary online method" oder "offline method"? Wahrscheinlich, weil man keinen Zugriff mehr auf die E-Mail-Adresse hatte, welche bei MtGox hinterlegt war. Lustigerweise braucht man den Zugriff auf diese E-Mail-Adresse auch, um einen Bestätigungslink nach Eingabe der PIN aus dem Brief zu erhalten...
Im Prinzip wird nun lediglich jeder User forciert, den Prozess zur Änderung der bei MtGox hinterlegten E-Mail-Adresse zu durchlaufen (damit man sich dort Einloggen kann).

Ja, es scheint sich etwas zu tun. Ich zitiere aus dem o.g. Schreiben:
"The Rehabilitaion Trustee is considering using the online system in relation to creditors voting on the rehabilitation plan and conducting distribution. Accordingly, registering on the online system will enable future procedures to be carried out smoothly. The Rehabilitaion Trustee has set the deadline of the last day of March 2020 for registration on the online system."

Hatte damals ein Schreiben bekommen, hatte auch über KRaken den Claim eingereicht - Soweit ich das verstanden habe läuft das jetzt jedoch nicht mehr unter KRaken.
