Anyone has experience with MtGox wire transfer withdrawal (non-SEPA)?  What's the typical delay like?
1 day

Not sure. A month or two ago everybody wanted in. People queued up to get verified to finally be able to purchase some of this strange Internet money.

Not it seems a lot of people want out - and can't.
what are you not sure about?

MtGox says on their homepage: "Due to the daily withdrawal limits imposed by our European bank, all fund transfers to SEPA accounts in Europe may take up to 3 weeks.".

So not even this is true.

It could be true for withdrawals requested now. That is even reasonable considering the much lower trading activity now compared to a month ago. That could have shortened the queue a lot.

I believe MtGox works somewhat like a Pyramid Scheme, so I'm really hoping some more losers keep sending funds to MtGox so i get my money

It certainly looks that way, you'd think that if banks have a limit on the amount of funds they can send per day they'd open accounts with other banks.

That's what their initial bank asks for. The money goes throught several banks before arriving on your account and each bank takes a commission.

i was lucky to get 1 batch of 1k euro 1 day before the dwolla issue, it was 'confirmed' for 36 days but is now 'processed'.

now i'm afraid all my batches still pending won't come through even moreso because of the dwolla issue. they are 'confirmed' for 36 days now..

okay, sounds good.

what's not so good: buying 26TEUR worth of BTC on mtgox at a negative spread of ~10USD vs BitStamp.

does bitstamp have a €-orderbook?

Actually the spread is like 4 USD currently.

And no, they don't have EUR orderbook, euros are converted to USD when depositing.
You'd better try yourself. It's a reasonably good exchange.

Cancelled my SEPA withdrawal after 35 days.  I'm giving the international withdrawal a try now.

Wouldn't you you just buy coins and move them somewhere safer?
People have already suggested alternative exchanges which actually work.

very very few exchanges offer SEPA at reasonable rates (see also: demise of intersango, btcentral, btc24).
now they also stopped €-vouchers.
I used to be able to sell my €-vouchers, but alas! no more.

?? Bitstamp does them at incredibly reasonable rates. I withdraw monday, I get it wednesday morning. No problem.
