Maybe I'll stick with the official wallet of every coin. because I can feel much better security and trust. multi wallet can be said safe, but I still have a sense of concern because the wallet was created by a third party and until now there is no wallet that really has a high credibility. Trust and security are what I want most, so it is my choice and you may have other options.
Are there any new multiwallets for altcoins?
As far as multi account is concerned i use cryptonator but its not offline.. It has multi wallets for different coins and currencies plus it has its own exchange in it. If you want to convert your bitcoin to doge or litecoin or any other currency then you can use in it. And good thing is that its fees is low as compared to other wallets. So i guess its a better wallet for multi coins.

There is no wallet that can hold different alt coins, but most exchanges and sites that have multiple coins make it easy to handle them. The only time when this information is wrong is a sidechain token that was created under another coin. That coin may only be available from the parent wallet.
There are multiple multicoin wallets out there and jaxx is one of my favorite. They also provide you full access to your coins and you can export any of your altcoin address to another wallet or backup your full wallet with just 12 words passphrase. I would like to recommend you to use them to store any alts like LTC, ETH, ETC which they supports.
You can try jaxx.io, exodus etc to hold multiple alts in a single wallet, you can also backup your wallet to access funds later on. But both of them are online wallets. If you want to store ETH and BTC offline, you can use myetherwallet.com and bitaddress.org to create paper wallet.
Kinda hard to find a good multi wallet, there might be some but like people mentioned above it is scam, it has some bugs and there are some that you're not owning the private key. So for those reasons i think you should using single wallet instead of using multi wallet. I personally using single wallet i know that it is not simplest you have to own each wallet for every single coin that you want to hold but at least your coins will be safe, for small amount i stored them on trusted exchanger like poloniex and bittrex.
yeah i figured that some wallets are a bit dodgy. it's not about thousands worth but i would still not like to get scammed

If you scroll down through the wallets listed you'll see the currencies they deal with, see "Supported Coins"...this will give you and idea of which wallet(s) can cover all of your coin balances. It may not get you down to one provider, but certainly less than 10!

But this link that you gave is really interesting, unfortunately not all wallets write their fees politic on the main page and to get the real value of fees you may know only after registration. If you scroll down through the wallets listed you'll see the currencies they deal with, see "Supported Coins"...this will give you and idea of which wallet(s) can cover all of your coin balances. It may not get you down to one provider, but certainly less than 10!

I am not sure about offline wallet, if you wish to hold the bitcoin and etherum together in online wallet. You could have choose coinbase or xapo. you could find the cold storage and valut options in the xapo with the options for standard and priority fees. Coinbase seems to down by yesterday when I noticed. This wallet also provides you option to hold the both the eth and btc in one sign up.

As of date no such wallet has been created or attempted as each coin uses it's own technology which is not compatible directly with the other. However there are exchanges which offer you multiple wallets in different coins which you can give a try.
I guess there is none. The problem here lies with, profits again. There is quite a lot of money, time and effort to individually create a wallet let alone a wallet that can accept multiple altcoins. The reason why all the "multi wallets" are online is because they can profit from your transactions if you use their wallet.

Don't recommend this wallet to anyone.Looks like Freewallet just scammed tons of users for millions of dollars in coins.

Are you maybe looking for an offline hardware wallet like Ledger Hardware wallet such as the Nano S? It supports several altcoins as well as bitcoins obviously.

You can try exodus wallet. It has an easy to use UI. You can keep your Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash and Dogecoin all in one place. Although you can't set the transaction fees manually. Currently, I don't used it anymore, not because I don't like it, but I'm more on the btc side for now. But I will surely recommend it if someone is looking for a multi wallet.
