this is a bad experience. everyone does not want to experience this and always strives for their assets to be safe.
This thread should give tips so that this incident does not happen to other members. not just bullshit. The OP must go and lament the misfortune

I hope this incident will not be the reason for you to stay away from cryptocurrencies and be totally discouraged by it rather, let that experience teach you to observed best security practices to further safeguard your digital assets. Do learn from it. Smiley
Indeed! He would not asked if he’s aware of the reason, he’s probably new to coin security, I also experienced losing some coins before learning how to keep my assets secured. Experience is a great teacher, indeed.

If he has taking or transferred out your valuable coins already, then there's really nothing we can do. Please take this as a lesson and store your private keys offline and not online especially without 2fA else you run a risk of hack

Also concerned about you, the most important rule when you are online in the virtual world is don't arbitrarily download files because hackers have prepared their tricks to steal from someone through the internet, especially cryptocurrency wallet originating from an unclear source and pornographic films because hackers usually inject their viruses into files in the film. I hope this will be a lesson for you and we all to be more careful.

Sorry,I sympathize. But don't blame yourself for the loss and for your mistakes. A professional hacker will always find a vulnerable spot in your security. My MEWwas hacked  too,it's was shock for me. I were careful, but I again had two new wallets cracked after trading in the ForkDelta and ETHerDelta.

That is a very sad news and we feel sorry for what had happen to you. We need to be very careful on handling our tokens or coins where we save our hard-earned crypto. It is really hard to identify the culprit wallet personal address, I guess you need to share the wallet you have downloaded so that we may be warned.

It really would be very sad if this was not the fault of the owner of the wallet. Everything looks very obvious to me. All our mistakes, inattention, haste, are very expensive in the cryptocurrency world. Especially installing third-party wallets.

In such a situation when someone has access to your wallet, nothing can be done, all that remains is to withdraw the remaining cryptocurrency to another, new and secure wallet, and to be more careful and cautious in the future, this is a lesson for you.
Do not worry, I am sure that this is not the biggest loss in your life.

That's gone for good. What next now is to plan for the future to avoid such incident repeating itself again. They are so many hackers waiting to hack any wallet, so it's left to the holders to know the right wallet to and how to keep the private key safe.

I am feeling so bad when I read how many people here were robbed by hackers. I thought that hackers are interested only in big offers and they do not care about common people.

It was too risky to just use any apps wallet or desktop wallet, you need to perform some background checking on the application or atleast it was recommended by trusted friends, colleague or forum before give it a shot.

Forget about your hacked wallet, create a new one and make sure to take care of your private key.

Such an event seems to have become a common thing for cryptocurrency users, anyone would have experienced such a thing and if it's like that it's better to just leave it because it's useless to save it is better to make another wallet again.

Sorry about that. Can you tell us the wallet you were using when it was hacked? Also, where did you store your private keys before the hack? On your phone or pc? Or is it saved offline on a piece of paper?

Unfortunately, 100% protection against hacking or stealing your private keys does not exist. But you still need to know how to protect yourself as much as possible. Regularly update the operating system, do not use suspicious services and do not download questionable files and documents to your computer.

You need to clarify and confirm if the virus comes from the wallet that you've downloaded and what is the name of that wallet, this is to warn the community about this wallet, could it be that someone got access to your computer among your friends and got your private key there, you need to trace where it probably comes.

If anybody tell you that it can be recovered it is blatant lie, the hacker would have traded it to fiat already, my advice for you is to move on and forget about it, your ethereeum is lost.

I am very sorry to hear that, in my opinion it is no longer possible to get your coin that has been stolen, my advice is to make this a valuable experience, for the future, you should be more careful in storing your private key, or never download the application suspicious, it will only bring viruses

there is nothing that you can do unfortunately. whatever gone is gone. transactions in the blockchain are not reversable. you should be more careful next time. and try to use a non infected computer.

I guess I download a virus altcoin wallet and the hacker found my private key in my desktop

Here is the answer for why it happened. This is some kind of madness. Download an unknown wallet that could easily be a virus, and even keep your private keys on the desktop, amazing mistakes.
right, don't ever download an application that is indeed an application that smells of virus, usually if the application is in the form of a virus, eating anti-virus will give a warning to the application, as experience, I used to download an application that is unclear and as a result my PC entered a virus , when I copy my wallet address, but when I paste the results it is not my wallet address, but someone else's wallet address.
