It's not a scam but it's hacking. It happens on daily if you are not too careful of keeping yourself protected. The main lesson for OPs experience is to use wallets that are reliable and better in safekeeping just like hardware wallets.

Don't be gullible using untrusted sites and don't be too confident if you are not aware of these things such as phishing.

if your wallet already get hacked that can be back, if someone know your private key that mean its his wallet too.
so you mush create new wallet, even if you know the hacked wallet, you just can make report on him, to make everybody avoid that wallet.

If he get your private key that is mean he get full access for your wallet.
You can report it on official twitter MEW if you use MEW wallet to freeze your wallet.
Bit it not will bring back your token.

I understand how you feel because I had been a victim and truth be told, there is nothing anybody can do about it. The only good thing about this kind of situation is that one has learned a life lesson but in a bitter way. Just be more careful henceforth. Look for a very secure alternative to store your digital and crypto assets and be careful of the people around you. It is never the end of the world.

for such cases giving up is the best way, nothing can be done and from there you can learn that phishing / malware can cause it to happen or maybe your private key / keystore is known to other people, maybe friends might be people around your life, to overcome this save in a safe folder and use antivirus that is strong enough as a precaution

definitely this an unfortunate thing when you got your wallet to be hacked then your investment is also hacked by someone getting return from the fact person is very very difficult so it can little bit difficult for you.

Police will not be able to help in such cases because of the security issues on the Eth blockchain. It is almost impossible to recover the lost funds, just accept the fact like normal. Valuable lesson is learned in hard way.

I hope you can move the remaining tokens. Because there is no way to stop it if your private key has been found by someone else. MEW does not store our database, so it cannot return if our token or ETH is lost.

I would send all my tokens to other wallets as soon as possible so as not to lose the remaining coins that he has on his wallet

The wallet you used might be tampered with. Or prolly, you didn't keep your private key safe. That's the two major reason wallet can be hacked. So sorry buddy.
