I also experienced the same thing.
my telegram was hijacked by someone else and there was my key there.
but what I know is that it can't be stopped unless you immediately move the contents of your wallet

Oh sorry buddy. Unfortunately you might have exposed your private keys or sign in phishing sites. I always recommend users to keep their funds in a safe wallet like imtoken , trust wallet. It is a better option than having to sign in your pk on a web wallet.

What particular wallet have you downloaded?

I think you downloaded a wrong wallet, actually I don't download wallet, every time I have ETH or ETH tokens, I just stored it in https://www.myetherwallet.com/, for years I've been using the site, and I never get hack as I know how to take care of my private key.
I downlaod a lot of altcoin wallet recently
some is reported as scam
I never thought hackere would read my txt...
Sorry to hear that, fortunately your wallet don't have too much Eth, my advice is don't install unknown wallet in your main computer, maybe tried to use vmware to test any unsafe program, it's won't affected your main system secuirty, remember always keep safe your crypto assets.

Sorry to hear that mate, but unfortunately there is no crypto police or something like that, that would investigate your case. Try to keep your private information safe, not enter any fishing websites, and never give something via dms on telegram.

Very disappointing, I believe that nothing can be done. It is very important to use your personal PC only for trading or what you have done, and not install anything at all. I also use 360 total security, not advertising, but it’s convenient if you suddenly have a suspicious file when installing the same wallet.

There are certain corrupt files that are deliberately sent to people, sometimes through telegram or email. Whenever they are downloaded, your system is already exposed. You should also know that downloading any wallet you have not confirmed to be authentic, is putting yourself and your files, !most especially your wallet in this case at high risk.

I think one of your close friend or family member is involved as he/she has stolen your private key during using your pc, so always secure your important documents, keys and password. otherwise you will also loss in future your precious data and money.

Without sharing your private it is impossible to steal your money because without knowing additional details it is impossible to the stole. Maybe whether the OP has given any authorization to the unknown in order to steal his ETH. Once we lost means we have to check the transaction from which wallet has the coin been transferred.

This is called a worst day of your life and you cannot do something about it. an excessive joining on some unknown bounty will bring you to some death hole just like this one. we should be more careful when choosing some bounty to join cause most of them are just scam and some of them became so innovative that they can really stole some private keys while installing their wallets just as you said. Well! we always have a bad day in our life let's just use it as an experience and never do it again.

You can't really stop it because it was already done. Next time, make sure to set you account so safely so it wont happen again. And if you were thinking to quit on what happen to you, then its not the answer. Try to look again another project for investing like the dencoin token bevause as what the eth goodness is also the same with tje dencoin tokens.

Mine was hacked too. They took most of what I had. I could not do anything to stop it. I transferred what was left into another wallet . Dumped the address and that was it

That was the best thing you can do, transfer all the remaining amounts in your wallet, otherwise you could be zero in your wallet, because the hacker has the access to your wallet, just be careful enough next time, never entrust your keys to anybody else.

Well you cannot do anything about it as there is no way to get back what you have lost from the hacker. That is why the safety of your information is your responsibility and protecting it should be your top concern.  So instead of you quitting the market I would suggest that you make is as a learning for you to protect your information a make necessary security measures, which can be applicable in real life.

Most of the victims were hacked because of a hack that sent a virus and you unfortunately got it. Or maybe some ico fakes the web like myetherwallet and then sends the link to you. condolatory

Everybody on the forum always reminds us that we should be very careful especially on our private keys. I think you just need to move on and be very careful next time. Thanks for sharing your experience so that everyone will be warned and everyone will know that there is really someone who is hacking on accounts. To the hacker, everything that we do always has something in return. That is not to scare you or anything. Just a reminder.

Sorry for the damage. This is very sad. Its quite unfortunate we can turn back time nor get hold of the hacker but this should be a lesson of not sharing your password or key to anyone again. Dont trust anyone.

what wallet do you use so that we all know and i think that happens because you downloaded a virus altcoin wallet maybe it is a virus that makes your computer detected by hackers. where you download that software so that it becomes a learning for all of us. with this incident i think as long as you believe that your computer is safe then why do you download something that becomes suspicious in the end

This is sad.  There is nothing you can do about it unfortunately. Most blockchains transactions are irreversible.
Downloading wallets from strange websites is risky and storing private keys on Internet devices isn't safe either..
Hope you recover quickly from this
