Thanks for the replies guys, i expected more but I think im okay with the ones I've got so far mostly with the links, I did as instructed as by _act_ but the rules are very bulky, i think I've got lots of reading to do, so I'll take my time to study and memorise them after now.
Wow are there critics here! That's not fair and could discourage newly registered like me or give us wrong perspective of this forum, I hope there are no tolerance of voilence or abusive words here? Well the best approach to critics is to capture the sense in their statement and disregard the rest. Also, what are the consequences of going against the rules?
I believe you have gotten the reply you wished for here. I would advise you to lock the thread because there is much to discuss the last time I checked. And also to avoid spamming on the thread.

Keep learning, keep growing, and welcome to the forum.

Of course you must have gotten enough replies that you can use to flow smoothly in this community but I will clearly add this by saying that you should be amongst those who request resources for learning and end up not opening them. what ever resources that you have gotten taken your time and read them it's all yours and nothing harms in reading spend time on them and you will have only but a few questions to ask outside those resources because most questions are answer right there.

Another thing is having a clear goal of what you want from the forum, once you identify that you go straight to it.

Just as I normally tell other newbies,  read and read again, do your research, ask questions where you got confused, people will definitely guide you here, You are part of the community just as every other members that are here ,learn as much as you can and equally give back to the community what you have learned, as much as you can contribute in your own way when you must have become more experienced about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, you are welcome to the biggest Bitcoin community ever existed.
True. Reading will help you acquire varieties of knowledge, and with continuous research every now and then, you unlock all those confusions you have in your mind. My only suggestion is develop more patience and motivation within yourself. Bitcointalk forum is not all the time fun and enjoyable as it is as there's also times that you get boring and exhausted, but if you become more patient and focused on your goal, you will never get tired of learning in the forum.

Here, people from different countries of the world share their acquired knowledge, so we can easily get different information and attitudes of people from different countries. Waking up in the morning instead of newspaper, I go to bitcoin forum and check the information shared by different people and try to gain something valuable from there. To me, Bitcoin is like a daily newspaper that doesn't read for a day and feels incomplete.

Congratulations to the Bitcoin Forum. You have chosen a right site if you can be active here regularly then you will be able to earn from here at one time. But of course you have to be active regularly and act according to forum rules. If you can follow the forum rules and achieve a certain rank then surely you can serve yourself well here. You seek help from senior persons to solve any problem, hopefully you will get help from senior persons.

Which critics are you talking about? Not in this thread, as far as I've been able to read at least, so I guess that you mean in other threads you visited.
I was also taken aback by OP's comment on that too because prior to that I didn't see or read any criticism of their post. Perhaps, OP had expected some form of criticism ahead.

Anyway, OP should also realize on time that as a forum they shouldn't expect every comment to be favourable to them. Reviews/responses come in two shades - positive and critical. That isn't to say anyone is attacking them but rather that people see things differently. OP should grow a thick skin for that. The earlier the better for them. Otherwise, they will easily crawl into their shell when that begins to happen.

Yeah, it's natural to have different opinions, some people just try to enforce some or don't agree at all with others, and that's okay, as long as it's in a constructive and non-agressive form.

having someone that we could go to every time we have something in mind will be helpful. Besides the rules, there are a lot of things that we have to get used in here, especially in how we interact with various users. Based on my own observation, it is different in main board and local board.

Thus, I think making a relation regarding this forum will be very helpful and it would erase our confusion about things in here while trying to adapt, could be a good consideration to do in order to gain more knowledge effectively and efficiently.

I'm still new here, and thankfully I got recommended to join this forum by someone that I know from internet. As a fellow newbie, I would like to suggest you to do that.

Learn about the forum, learn all the rules, follow the rules well. Never do anything outside the rules, and learn more about crypto and btc as you learn. And can go ahead, keep going, you will achieve big rank one day.
Exactly! Going against the forum rules will get him banned especially if he/she plagiarizes. If the OP will be able to take his time and study the forum rules, every other thing will be easy for him/her because there will be no room for any mistake related to the forum rules. The next thing the OP need to do is to take note of some links been recommended for him to learn about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency especially this one, because this will give him all the basic information and knowledge he/she needs to know abut Bitcoin, blockchain technology, keys and address and lots more  that will help him/her gro fast in thisforum.
I hope OP reads all the replies in his thread. it will give him good advice and knowledge. knowing the forum rules is the first thing, and then it's up to him to dig up information in whatever section interests him.
I see OP has made a few more posts, and maybe he's found some knowledge and where he wants to go. I just hope he doesn't make any forum violations that could get him banned.

You are absolutely right, I also agree with you, having complete knowledge about bitcoin and crypto is absolutely necessary. Because most of the discussion here is always about crypto, and what is the op talking about if he doesn't know about it? And of course the rules of the forum must be followed, moreover, if he does not follow the rules, he will face a lot of suffering.

Welcome to this forum.

You ask for help in an own topic nearly half an hour after you registered. I can only assume you haven't silently read much here before. May I ask why? What hinders you to explore the forum for as much time as needed first. Does anything rush you?

A lot you asked you could've figured out yourself. Finding pinned threads and what purpose they have isn't exactly difficult and/or a mental challenge. Isn't it more satisfying to explore and find answers on your own?

Take your time and maybe ask less to be spoon fed, that would be great. As it was recommended to learn more about Bitcoin, here's my goto place:

Heh, now you're being sarcastic. Grin..post history? Last I checked he only got one post to speak of which is this one. I get you, bruh. The essence of being a higher ranking member is so you can guide the new ones who come into this place seeking answers because it's deemed that we know more than they do. I really don't support the idea of badmouthing them when they display their ignorance but sometimes, things just find a way of eating at you especially when they throw every obvious questions.

Merit & new rank requirements topic can help you understand it more deeply. Simply put, you can get merit when you help someone on the forum, or provide new useful insights. However, in some cases you can get merits when you take part in challenges in the community, for example @NotATether's topic, he offer 14 merits for users who run Bitcoin Core Node for 14 days and it must be the latest synchronization.
Do you think he'd be patient enough to read through this link you provided if his first post is to ask how to get merits? It's crazy how some newbies put this particular one in front above all else when there are many other things to gain from the forum. You'd argue he's being direct and going straight to what brought him here but then if people like these get merits, I'm sure they would flout some of the rules here.
Everyday, we see new behaviors from these noobs and I tell you, this user may not come back to reply you or acknowledge that he found the link helpful.

I'm well aware that Newbie habits are sometimes bad, but what can I do to prevent them from doing those things? we have all been Newbies in this forum. Don't be too sarcastic, just answer what they want to know, that's what we're here for, helping each other, besides he doesn't share things that are prohibited, have you seen him do that from his post history? OP, I just went through your post history, and it interests me to know that you are putting up everything you are being advised and linked to read into practice for your exposure to Bitcoin and the forum.

Still, from your post history, I can see that you are giving out positive replies to newbies who want to learn about Bitcoin and the forum the same way as you. Keep it up with that, and don't later give up on that your efforts to quality posting are not rewarded with merits because not having merits has made many newbies give up on time to stop being consistent in the forum

You have come to the right place. In the beginning you should develop the habit of reading. If one studies more and more while learning, one's scope of knowledge will increase. There are various boards in this forum where one can learn almost everything about the crypto space from top to bottom. Moreover, if there is any specific subject to know which is difficult to understand, then you can get the correct solution of those subjects through this board because there are many knowledgeable people who can give the correct solution to your specific questions. "Beginners & Help" is the most effective board for beginners. Moreover, "Meta" will help you to know all the issues related to the forum rules and regulations. There are also separate boards for Bitcoin and everything else where you can browse and learn about various topics.

Guys, no offense please my response was based on Finestream's reply to my post, advising me concerning the criticism I'll receive soon from different members, i was shocked because i just got here and would have to handle critics soon. well it's no big deal thank you all for your advice.
I guess I should've quoted him but i just replied straight since I didn't know how to do that then but I've figured it out from the reply of other members in this post.
You will get that alot from the forum members, but instead of being offended by those criticisms, you should rather learn from them. You should understand that there are lots of people from different countries and races which may have different views on a particular topic that may not sit well with you. Remember, everyone must not agree with an idea you share. Glad you have already been pre informed about what you should be expecting here, this will help you to develop a tough skin towards all forms of criticism.

Welcome to the forum newbie, obey the forum rules and you'll be fine. Aside the information you get here, you can carry out your personal researches so you get a wider knowledge on topics that may not have been thoroughly discussed here. Stay safe!
True. There would be negative criticisms that you will receive later on, and that should not threaten you but will motivate you to keep improving your posting performance, otherwise you will keep being criticized and get affected every now and then.

Rules are rules. Though the forum may not be totally strict with some certain rules, but if you keep breaking them, you will not like the result. Either you get temporarily banned, or you get permanent kick out without notice.

It's not criticism that is given but it's just input that directs you to pay attention to what you should do next.
By having input that you can draw conclusions from, it will actually help you become better. Actions start from thoughts. If your mind when judging every input as criticism that makes you cornered or discouraged, the resulting action is true you will be discouraged. Change it into motivation that will make you better.

If the op thinks he can survive without being criticized then he's not going to last here because he will keep getting discharged as a result of how he feels about the comments of other members, I have taken my time to go through the comments of most people here but I'm yet to see any word that looks like criticism that is used by any member here so I assume the op is imagining things.

I think it is better he takes every comment here as a blessing because the ideas and information that members gives out here for free on daily basis other people out their are paying high to get a little of it. I'm at every word you consider as harsh words motivate you to get better so that you will also teach the next generation to come what you have been thought.

Every sentence that is expressed depends on how we eat it, because it will be responded to by the brain and heart when reading comments from others, simply put someone can feel offended if consuming other people's sentences by assuming he feels ridiculed, while there are people who feel motivated by words of ridicule or criticism to become better.

But I'm quite understanding because he's a beginner and may not be used to this kind of situation, where people give advice and express what others want to express freely, the general rule in a vast internet world like this is not to be easily offended and not to get carried away in responding to others.

Welcome to the forum

The first advice I give you is to look at two important elements:

1. Familiarity with the field of blockchain technology in general, and I advise you to start with Bitcoin. It is important to realize that you must learn about the Bitcoin Ecosystem independently of any central services.
This will not require you to do more than follow the huge documentation about Bitcoin that you will find here on the forum and which you can search by using the “search” feature. The search process can be done on Google, with the exception that you must always check the sources before taking this or that information as granted.

2. Learn about the operating rules of this forum, including the publishing rules and general behavioral rules. Here in the Beginners section we have detailed pinned topics that can help you.

I think it is better he takes every comment here as a blessing because the ideas and information that members gives out here for free on daily basis other people out their are paying high to get a little of it. I'm at every word you consider as harsh words motivate you to get better so that you will also teach the next generation to come what you have been thought.

It's much better for all who read, especially for OP.
If I always put it in a positive box because I only have two eyes that make me have limitations in seeing all the space.
There are no words that I consider it rude even though at one occasion it happened. However, as long as I am active in this forum from Newbie until now it has been Sr. Members, all the comments that were present I made a valuable lesson that helped me that I did not get in special training for all fields.

Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?)

Especially since you are a newbie, you should definitely follow the rules of this forum and be sure to abide by them. And be sure not to think of violating the rules of this forum. However you notice the posts of senior brothers and spend time in the forum, the more you learn from the forum and the more time you spend, the more experience you will gain about this forum.
And get all kinds of advice about Bitcoin because there are people from different countries and different tribes. Make sure you get the most suitable decision from them and keep on gaining knowledge.

Stay safe!

You were not supposed to lost as the forum is very easier and simple to navigate. Moreover, you were lucky to have someone who told you about the forum, it will definitely make things easier for you than when you come across it on your own. I hope you have a necessary guidance from him. If not, you are in the right place to get familiar with the forum.

Is there anywhere there's no critics? The only time you are free from criticism is when you are not doing anything which is not possible. Criticism makes us strong and improve from our end if necessary. This is a public forum and not everyone will have the same opinion as yours. Some criticism is to educate you while some are to mock you. Ignore the latter and focus on the former to build yourself.

Also upon browsing helpful thread for newbies I see this one thread created by tranthidung

Mega resources for newbies https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.64230160 Which is truly helpful so it maybe good for you to spend some time reading it.
Thank you for sharing my thread which I have yet completed but I am trying to add more threads to it with time. There are threads I remember but have yet added them all into my thread.

Soon, when the thread is nearly completed, I will open it for community to join for discussion and recommendation too. Meanwhile, if anyone has any information or own threads that can be helpful for it, please feel free to contact me in PM.

OP will feel that there are too many resources for learning but my advice is only simple like this. Don't give up, start to crawl and learn slowly but regularly, soon OP will see his knowledge on the forum and Bitcoin be improved significantly with time. No newbie can know all things without learning.

Your thread is worth to share especially if there's newbie asking for guide or information since for sure that they can learn a lot of things especially if they are really interested to learn about this forum or further more knowledge about crypto.

I don't know if its good to open for discussion since provably your valuable thread will be haunted by lots of spams. So what I think its better to remain close for discussion and just bumped it whenever there's new good information added.

Might be good for him to read good topics everyday and learn from it and don't push his self to much since maybe he get bored reading all long threads and other things suggested by lots of people here. Consistency is always important since this determine their success in future.

There are many things and issues that you can discuss here, whether it's about Bitcoin, forums and so on, there are many things you can discuss, maybe if we talk about crypto/Bitcoin it never ends, every day there are updates, it never ends.

If you talk about forums, of course here you will find things you can learn, such as rules, services, exchanges, Bitcoin discussions, mining, reputation and many others and if you want to understand in detail about the uses of Bitcoin, Of course you have to have someone in the real world who understands Bitcoin, you can learn from him in the real world, there is a difference between theory and practice.

The point is: learn more about crypto/Bitcoin, I hope you can succeed in becoming the best and most successful Bitcoin user.

I do not understand what you meant by critics in your reply. Are you referring to the replies that you might have read on other threads. Since, I don't see any replies on your thread that are critical or toxic. Do remember that you are in a public forum where you will see good and bad replies.

Going against the rules can lead to temporary ban or permanent ban. It all depends on on the kind of rule you break here. Plagiarism is something that the forum does not tolerate if you are caught then you will be banned. Therefore always avoid it at any cost, if you want to share some information that is written by someone else then quote the source and share the link.

By the way! Welcome to the forum.

how to earn merit here?

Merit & new rank requirements topic can help you understand it more deeply. Simply put, you can get merit when you help someone on the forum, or provide new useful insights. However, in some cases you can get merits when you take part in challenges in the community, for example @NotATether's topic, he offer 14 merits for users who run Bitcoin Core Node for 14 days and it must be the latest synchronization.

then you won't like this forum. the forum is very into free speech, you can basically say almost anything that you want as long as it is not a death threat or any threat meant to cause bodily harm. if you are going to stay around on this forum you might want to start growing a thicker skin so you won't offended if someone is rude to you.

Here's what you might want to read as a beginner here: Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ.

This is a forum not YouTube or Instagram so expect texts to read not pics or videos to watch.

Critics are everywhere. Don't worry about them. Take what's constructive and disregard the rest. This forum is part of the huge online universe. You can't be too emotional with criticisms, insults, and humiliating remarks here.

There are different rules here. Violations of different rules have different punishments. It may range from a simple deletion of a post, locking of a thread, red trust, temporary ban, permanent ban, and so on.

I agree. OP, stay well, learn new things that light you up here, and follow the rules!

Critics are everywhere and you'll get used to it. Don't worry, as a beginner just need to learn what you have to learn and go play by the rules of the forum and you'll be fine. No one discourages others if there are criticisms being received, we have to live by that as we cannot please everybody. What matters now is that you have started here, go to the topics that you want to learn and learn little by little and just do your thing while learning about the forum, about bitcoin and every crypto stuff that you wanna learn.

criticism will always be balanced with suggestions. you can get a lot of understanding when you can finally digest criticism well. just believe that many people here finally build confidence to express their ideas with a lot of criticism that has been received.
you have to get used to the forum. here differences of opinion are quite natural. but everything must still be based on rational thinking. if you want to spend more time learning about the forum and also the information available, that's better. do it and try to get what you want to get.

You only got three responses and concluded the critics? Friend, if you are so vulnerable that you sense insult in the posts, then I can predetermine your future fate here. Besides, criticism is always an indicator that people here are real and will not pretend or be afraid to speak if they see something insincere. You are not the first and not the last. Just learn the rule; you came to the forum, which means you are interested in it, and not the other way around. Therefore, if you do not hear criticism but only hurt yourself, you will be disappointed. Anything that many wish you and advise will be a good greeting, but in addition, put on thick skin so as not to react too emotionally.

Which critics are you talking about? Not in this thread, as far as I've been able to read at least, so I guess that you mean in other threads you visited.

I agree that sometimes very basic or silly questions receive bad answers because, as you were told, learning is a process that requires some work and nobody will spoon feed you; but I think that most members are very patient and willing to help, especially in local boards.

BTW, as you said that you were told about this forum, it would be great if you mentioned who recommended it to you or where you read about the forum, out of mere curiosity.

Unfortunately, that's how it is here. This is a community and so you should follow the rules. And we won't spoon feed any newbies here. We all have gone to his process and so we are committed and by reading a lot we learn the do's and dont's. So I encourage to do as well, go all those boards and read the posts and try to understand.

Well the best approach to critics is to capture the sense in their statement and disregard the rest. Also, what are the consequences of going against the rules?

Again, this is a community so you should respect each and everyone here. Although others might have thick skin and totally ignore some harsh words, there are members that are sensitive so you better be as polite as you can be. Anyway, best of luck in your stay here and hopefully you will learn a lot.

You are new and you will need to learn things that are necessary for newbies.

Basic things include forum rules, guidelines and because it is a Bitcoin forum, you will need to learn about Bitcoin fundamentally too. You will have lot of things to learn and as a newbie, you will feel overwhelming at start.

Thanks for the replies guys, i expected more but I think im okay with the ones I've got so far mostly with the links, I did as instructed as by _act_ but the rules are very bulky, i think I've got lots of reading to do, so I'll take my time to study and memorise them after now.

It’s good that you are very eager to learn from the forum, you should keep that motivation in order for you to get acquainted with various information that are readily available, you just do your own diligence to learn. Explore and open the different boards and read each topic, I know you will gain a lot in it. And never break the forum rules, but always get updated with it. Lastly, you are here not only to learn but also to enjoy your stay in the forum, so make the forum a more fun and enjoyable learning outlet, and not get pressured with the different criticisms that you will receive soon from other members.
