My question is can diabetes be brought under control by homeopathic treatment?
No disease can be brought under control by homeopathy. Homeopathy is a scam.

OP I read your entire story. Diabetes is a disease that never heals once it takes root in the body. This disease is called the disease warehouse of the body. All diseases originate from here. People who lead a lazy life and have excessive food habits are consumed by this disease. In the path of human life one must work hard. Hard work never destroys a person but makes you smarter.

My question is to those who are still living lazily, remove the touch of laziness from their life. Various diseases enter the body through laziness. All of you who lead an idle life engage in manual labor. If you don't have work, walk for at least one hour in the morning and afternoon. And go out for physical exercise indoors or outdoors. Keep the body healthy.

Finally I have a question for everyone. My question is can diabetes be brought under control by homeopathic treatment? Has anyone taken homeopathologic treatment? I heard that diabetes can be brought under control by homeopathology treatment.

Really fantastic story for me, I hope I can help a few people in my surrounding who already suffer from Type-2 Diabetes. They inject insulin times per day to survive. They're very poor. If I get money, then I'll build a big house where stay a lot of old people, old sick males & females are. I can support them financially & mentally. I think, "Helping people is the best way to God's satisfy."

Of course, this is a significant and good plan as well. But, That's not easy as it seems. I am not sure where you are from. If you can manage some sponsors, it will be easier for you. There are a lot of people with kind hearts. It would be best if you reached them to get some donations regularly to build a safe home for old homeless people. Remember, If you do this. You have to take a lot of responsibility as older adults get sick quickly. It's going to be expensive. I respect your plan. But, If you cannot take responsibility. don't open it now and better to help other safe homes at this point.

It's such a pity that many are suffering alot from medical health challenge and yet they never finds it difficult to participate in contributing to the forum and their entire conditions never get over them, this will be the second am seeing as the second experience with members after the one that happens with yahoo62278, we need to be careful on how we live our daily lives, though i believe some health challenges are heriditary but we must ensure the very possible best not to make sure that we also contributed to it, let us be vigilant concerning our health and always create time for an occasional check-ups and watch what we eat, where we go, and how we think about life in general.

I created this thread just to share my experience with others here and I am sure we will see more people contributing in. Its very much important for everyone of us to take extra care of what we eat, since almost everything these days is processed. Not much focus is given to organic foods (like organic eggs, home grown vegetables etc).
If I talk about myself, I feel much better now after reducing 23 kg of my weight and it must be done long ago.

Periodic health checks may be underestimated by many people who feel they are still feeling well. especially those who are young. Even though illness doesn't look at age, even though most of them are old they feel a decrease in their body fitness due to illness.

The pattern of food consumed is very important for us to maintain a healthy body. although it does not rule out the possibility that several other factors can also influence our bodies to develop diseases such as type-2 diabetes.
but I saw it happen to my neighbor. he is not young anymore, unfortunately, he lives alone without any family to accompany him. almost every day he orders fast food. and he currently has type-2 diabetes. now it looks like he only consumes prescription drugs given by the doctor.

As people say, regular health checks to detect problems as early as possible is important. It's been a year since I haven't checked my blood sugar levels, I know it's been too long but I'm still grateful that I'm still given good health. A healthy lifestyle is something that we must have because it will support the body to be healthier.

Would you believe I said I never do regular health checks if it's not an emergency for me?
Whenever I get sick, I go to the hospital and do the necessary checkups only. You may say that I am trying to save money. Well, true. Because, Where I live, Medical checkups turned into a highly profitable business. I cannot believe them when they focus on money and not on patients. I am grateful as well because I've never been that much sick.

The real message of this thread is don't take health advice from the internet. Like 90% of the things being said in this thread are wrong.

Yes obviously you should have a healthy diet, keep your weight under control, and exercise regularly, and yes doing all these things can help to improve your diabetic control. However, I can't stress enough how much anybody shouldn't just stop taking their prescribed medications (for any condition) without first consulting with their doctor. Suddenly stopping certain medications can be life threatening.

The senior guy from your office should be given a big hug for his insightful advice to stop you from taking those Metformin drugs which seemed to be making things worse at the extent of affecting your Blood Pressure.. I guess these doctors of today all they want is to get people hooked on drug's forgetting its really lives at stake. Thanks for believing in yourself and finding a doctor that believed an alternative route was possible, keep the fight going Champ!

The reality is whether we like it or not we are dependent on doctors and we cant ignore them. Its very unfortunate that pharma (along with Doctors) is controlling the medical industry and they dont want people to get rid of diseases like B.P or Sugar rather they want people to live there life with it. These diseases with time get more complicated, like sugar patients get kidney failure, heart diseases etc.
I did some research online but my primary focus is what my doctor advices me (he holds Phd from Glassgow University in diabetology).
Moreover, we have to get ourselves educated from different source, as your doctors have little time to educate us. On interent we can find reliablk info. Just like when we hear a news online, we verify it by checking whether some reliable news source (like CNN and BBC) is quoting this or nor.

I have great respect for Doctors, especially the ones that are good at their jobs. But I have a greater respect for my common sense and ability to make decisions.
My brother and I lived were moving from one hospital to another. We were literally living hospitals.
From Ulcer;
To HBP;
To nerves issues;
Sleepless night.
And we spent some huge amount of money.
When Ulcer is fine, BP will go very high,  when BP is fine nerves compression and other issues will arrise. That was how my brother was being placed from on drugs to another. He literally lived on drugs until I asked him to stop one tablet which he was scared to stop. I told him that his life isn't dependent on the drugs, he adhered and stopped it for 3days and that was how BP issued ended.

Sometimes, use your experience, observations and research and make some decisions for yourself.

Key Point which I want to highlight. Have your blood sugar and Blood pressure checked at least twice a year and if you can go through a complete body scan its a bonus.

I started this thread to share my story about how I am controlling my blood sugar with diet only. The sole motive is to tell people suffering with this disease that its something that can be controlled through diet only.

If you have any thing to ask you can write here I will try my best to answer it and you can also contribute by sharing your experience.
2 years ago pre-covid 19 pandemic, I was overweight(90+ kgs) but not obese. I went through hardship of reducing and I've even gained more wait on 2020-2021 then last year was the start of my journey of weight lose. I haven't taken any meds or medical check ups during that time.
There's the pigment change on my body on my underarm and groin part of my body. I can't control my in take with colored fluids and after reading your story, I guess that I also have to be conscious again on my physical for this start of the year. It's hard to move and I always catch my breath when I'm overweight and I am no longer getting younger and had to be physically fit for my daughter.

For me, health problems are not just about one thing, but many things that we need to check, including heart disease, cholesterol and others. For those of us who spend more time in front of monitors, we also cannot ignore eye health, and this should also be considered a serious condition rather than anything else.

OP, thanks for sharing, and I hope this is also useful for those of us who often neglect health conditions and routine checkups. Also, I completed your last 5 merit to Sr Member, so congrats on your current rank up.

I am sorry to hear your story. Many people out there cannot control their food and other habits even though they know they are harmful to their bodies. Take cigarettes as an example. Some of my known people suffer from many issues like Tuberculosis and other diseases. Doctors Forbidden to smoke cigarettes. But those people were unable to control their self. I know a person who has already died from Tuberculosis and another who is suffering from another disease.

My mother has type 2 diabetes as well but her blood sugar level isn't under control for years even with all the medications then only we know strict diet rule is also important to keep the levels low and now it's under control and dosage remains same as 1mg.

Diet, exercise and medication are three ways to control Diabetes. Medicine comes at number three. People think once we have diabetes, we only need to take medicine and we are good to go. Its very good that your mother has got control of her sugar with diet and little medicine.

Wow, thanks for sharing your experience. It must have been hard for you to hear that news and that it would change your life forever. I think the different ways that you can get your blood sugar at an average level are the following

The best way to check progress is by monitoring blood sugar levels regularly. That will be helpful to check with your treatments if it's working with medicine, diet, and exercise.

Its no doubt very hard in the start but with time I figured out how to proceed with this condition.
I do have a glucometer with me all the time and I checked my sugar with often in the start. With time now I have a data base in my mnd that which things cause a spike in my sugar. My doctor has advised me to slow down on checking sugar since my Hba1c is under control and checking sugar very often creates anxiety.

Managing diabetes is not easy, and there are still days when he struggles. But, he is determined to take control of his health and live a long and healthy life. My father's experience with type-2 diabetes has taught me the importance of self-care and self-management. He has shown me that with the right mindset and the support of loved ones, anyone can successfully manage their diabetes and lead a full and satisfying life.

No doubt, the will to fight with anything is first success towards success. There are many successful people who have made progress in life despite having diabetes. I heard a doctor in a lecture saying, " make diabetes your friend not enemy and it wont hurt you". It clearly means just follow things which are allowed in diabetes.
If your father has diabetes then you need to be extra careful about this disease. Get your Hba1c test done once or twice a year.  My father too has diabetes and this is one reason I too got it. I have to admit I was too casual in my eating habbits.

Wishing you both good health @yahoo62278 and @WatChe.  Especially like you, millions of people in the world are affected by various diseases and epidemics, it is absolutely necessary to convey health awareness among these people.  Hundreds of people in the forum will try to solve their health problems through your posts.

Thank you so much.
Exactly thats why I created this post. To share what I have learned about diabetes so far and tell people to take your health very serious.
You have your blood pressure now under control?

However for OP, Im sure with extra precautions you will fight this bravely, you just have to workout a bit more than the rest.

You are right. My father has Diabetes despite the fact that he was a fine sportsmen and his weight is also ideal. These days depression is also creating various disorder in human health.

I would still advise the OP to visit to his doctor and tell him that he stopped talking Metformin and ask him if that's OK as he is feeling much better with all these other healthy diets.

I am in contact with my diabetologist and visit him after every 6 months with test reports. I know its not wise to do things on your own without consultation of doctor.

Thanks for sharing mate this will help others from trying to find other cure than medicine.

Good to know you have lost so much weight and you must be feeling better now.
That's the real aim of this post. To create awareness in people about health related issues. We are ignoring the fact that with just few simple adjustments in our lifestyle we can avoid big complications.

Type 2 diabetes just happens in obese people, and it is very strange not to notice your excess weight.
<...>

I disagree, it is not entirely accurate to say that being overweight is the sole risk factor for developing type 2 diabetes. It is similar to saying that only overweight people experience cardiac arrest or that only smokers contract lung cancer. It is not accurate and oversimplifies the issue.

While it is certainly a contributing factor, there are other factors to consider such as genetics, family history, as certain genetic predispositions can increase the likelihood of developing the condition. Additionally, age and race also play a role, as people of certain ethnicities are more likely to develop type 2 diabetes, and the risk increases as one gets older.

If anything, from my personal experience, I can confidently say that my father never struggled with weight issues, in fact, he led a very active lifestyle and was quite athletic throughout his life. It is safe to say that obesity was never an issue for him.

I love seeing you share your story. I'm sure there are a lot more on the forum who may gain some knowledge from this post although I'm not sure ignoring a doctor's instructions is good advice. It has worked for you and that's great, but I would hate to see someone go into a diabetic coma from ignoring physicians' instructions. I feel like you might have taken a risk that paid off.

Keep it up and keep those sugars where they need to be. Thank you for sharing.

Yes, no one should drive this learning from the OP story is to ignore the physicians' instructions.  Doctors know better than us and we should follow their instructions. I don't know about your case but sometimes you may feel better not talking the doctors prescribed medicine but later you may find out that, your disease has got increased without knowing you.

I would still advise the OP to visit to his doctor and tell him that he stopped talking Metformin and ask him if that's OK as he is feeling much better with all these other healthy diets.

I took my time to read all through gaining more insight on your health challenge and to be frank  these are the little things people overlook that causes or turns out to be a big problem to them in their old age. After reading your post, I had to do a little research to see some more details on on how to handle diabetic situations. Please pardon me as I am not a health doctor as what I am dropping https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/type-2-diabetes/in-depth/diabetes-prevention/art-20047639 is just an internet search I did so others can read too to gain knowledge on how possibly to get rid of any potential observation of diabetic symptoms in their health.

@yahoo62278 in his post past weeks narrated his own personal health challenge and encourage members to always do a check up so as to keep health balance and be fit. Since then I have been up and doings in my health fitness. I do regular exercise, I have curtailed my life style; no much drinking both soft and hot and to cut it short , I have been observing some good changes in my health which is a good development for me as a result of my routine. I am happy about that.

I would also encourage anyone reading this to also do the needful regarding their health status. It is very important that one takes good care of their health so as to avoid uneven event which might arise as a result of ones health status.
