How are other coins doing compared to Bitcoin? Not encouraging, right? So, why not focus more on the cryptocurrency that you feel safe in? You could Invest only small part of your crypto fund in other coins, especially those that are well decentralized and with potential to grow in the future. Or you could day trade those altcoins while holding (and day trading) Bitcoin & maybe few top altcoins.
Yes it is true, don't divide your money into lots of coins too much. But if you think those coins can make a profit and not make the expenses you are doing greater, then that is a good decision. And for bitcoin itself when compared to other coins I personally would prefer bitcoin or you could say 70% into bitcoin and 30% into other coins.

if I were you I will gladly hard more if new better altcoins show up, some coins will be better than some so no problem adding more to your portfolio, nice lists of coins of have there
but if the coins are multiplied then the control is also involved even more, which needs to be questioned whether he can control it well if adding coins to his portfolio. if indeed he can do it then not a big problem, so think about that too if you want to add coins in the portfolio

Hi All,

i have been buying a little crypto since Sept 2017, not much but some.

I have invested in the following coins and was curious to know what you guys think of my portfolio? Can i get rid of some coins or add?

1) BTC
2) NEO
3) WAVES
4) VET
5) LINK
6) ETN
7) KCS
8 ) UTK
9) DAG
10) XBY
11) REBL

Appreciate your responses.

You can't survive for your obduracy decisions. For long time investment you have to change your decision. Although Bitcoin, Ethereum or Ripple investment is fixed. In your list you can update by Litecoin and Binance coin. New technology and service could control future market.
I like the list. It includes most of good digital coins but in my opinion, these are a way too much. I mean, investing in ten coins simultaneously can be troublesome as one will have to keep track of all of them. At most, one should invest in three altcoins. Better is to go with only one coin and put efforts to make good profits fro that. Bitcoin should be that coin and it is comforting to see at the top of list.
It is a classic problem of all altcoin investors, they diversify too much and they loose the control of their portfolio. I know that you would like to secure your profit by reducing the risk, but also you have to realize that more coins you have, more time you should spend about tracking their progress. The sooner you realize that your coin is dying, the less you will lose. Follow Github and social media sties to be informed about everything what is happening around your coins.  Wink
Not all of my coins love it. I'm too picky in terms of coins, because for me the coin that I choose determines the future of my wallet.
The better the coin that I chose would be the fat also the wallet I had. This is my strongest reason to be a selector. Among the coins I've chosen are, Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, Ripple, NEO, EOS, Bitcoin Cash. That's just what became my main coin.

It is very difficult to choose altcoins for investment, there are too many of them. I prefer to invest in altcoins that are developed in the direction of blockchain protocols and payment ecosystems. For example - Chainlink, NEM, Lisk, PundiX, Paytomat.

Personally, I think these are promising coins. And this is the right choice to get good income. These coins are a great investment in the future. I believe that if a coin is on the cryptocurrency market, then this coin is worth something and can bring excellent profit.

I do not think that the 11th on your list is still actively trading, if it has not been delisted. Also, I do not see ethereum on your list, you might add to it if you have the fund. The first five on your list and the 7th have great prospects and you might think of holding them.

Can you post Algo too?  How Algo for each one is not same

So a quick update:

I've made some changes to my portfolio, mostly reduced my coins.

1) BTC
2) XRP (Sold all my NEO)
3) WAVES (Sold half for Chainlink)
4) VET
5) LINK
6) ETN
8 ) UTK
9) DAG (Sold all my KCS and increased DAG)
10) ETH

My aim is a monthly contribution of £50-100 a month to BTC and £50 a month to ETH

IMO, it's good enough to hold BTC, NEO, and WAVES. I think it has the potential to have high prices in the years to come. apart from these coins, I rarely pay attention to the development of other coins. I might recommend adding BCH SV, LTC, and BNB. at the moment, the three coins also have potentials that can develop when the price of bitcoin returns.
good advice in your opinion I personally still have very strong beliefs about bitcoin that will develop going forward and in my opinion the development of crypto currencies depends on the investors themselves because investing in crypto currencies with very large risks requires very strong confidence and patience to invest for me a big risk will certainly get a big profit too
A lot of people are optimistic about this coin but the reality is very different because Bitcoin is not the only coin affected by this market. I think the future of Bitcoin is going to be very good but right now things are going badly for the time being and I'm not sure what will happen next to this coin. You can now choose to invest at a low price or wait for a cheaper price to invest because Bitcoin is likely to drop to $5000 in the next few months.

My predictions will be inaccurate but I'm sure this market will have more big adjustments because 2019 is not a promising year for everyone.

BTC is the best coin that you should have in your portfolio, I do not have information on some tokens that you bought so I do not have any recommendation about it but one thing that you should always take note, you should know what you are doing before you make an investment.
BTC is already listed on the OP investment list, I also agree with your opinion such as reconsider before doing anything in this industry including in investment. but I think OP has a lot of good and decent coins for future investment, just want to add a little like Ltc and BNB. I don't see the OP adding investment lists on these two altcoins.

I would sell all the coins in your portfolio except BTC. The proceeds I would invest 30% more in BTC and the remaining 70% I would buy Ethereum, which is now cheap and has great prospects for growth.

Good taste I would day, might also consider LTC and XRP on your list. What's sad is the market situation we are currently seeing. Those coins in your list are indeed promising but I am afraid how would the market behavior affect the prices of those cryptos. At this moment, recovery still is blurry and investing would be a bit risky. Holding would be more advisable in my opinion. I have holdings and some are having prices close to zero. I am not letting go of these tokens.

im not familiar on other coins that he have but ltc and xrp can be a good replacement for it  . market current situation is verry good for investors so they should have feel happy instead of being sad   .  market behaves normally but no matter what move it do , your portfolio wont be affected as long as you wont get being affected  aswell   . market recovery is always been blurry but there is always a rainbow after a rain  .  recovery is always there mate  .

Nice picks here, but I don't really think XBY and REBL on your list are great, I might be wrong though. Also, ETH is missing from your list, don't you think ETH 2.0 staking might be a new dawn for ETH?.  In my opinion, I will strongly advise you not to invest in so many coins at once (from experience) so that you can follow up on the few on your portfolio. Choose the best few on your scale of preference, that's my style anyway.
