What you have invested in those coins are almost what I holding from long term but in that coins list some coins are deplly downs more than 60% like ETN and some more but those coins will be give good results from holding on long term. But now crypto market condition is really bad and my suggestion to you that please hold those coins as I mentioned below.
1) btc
2) neo
3) waves
4) etn

That ETN is Electroneum right? if you are not in a bad position, you need to drop it away from your portfolio. The price keeps falling because of mobile mining, investing and holding on this project will result in further losses. about REBL, is this project still alive? I have not heard anything about them for a while.
those two projects do not suit my taste, it is better holding Bitcoin other than those two.
Though I still left some ETN after ATH since the team are still active finding ways to develop the app and I'm still using their app sometimes, though the prices really fell down this year hoping it can recover like other alts are. Anyway, having XRP and ETH in portfolio is a good holdings depending on your timeline of how much time you plan to holds it and also better if you use for trading.

The only sensible investment among them is BTC. I think NEO is a dead project. In addition, BNB and EOS stand as much more profitable altcoins.

The link isn't bad either, so you can keep investing in that coin. But I recommend you to review all except BTC and LINK.

All of your holding coins are pretty good and have some potential to give you profits. But I think REBL, UTK, XBY are not enough good for long term holding where you have missed the Ethereum. Personally, I think you may add ETH, BNB, ATOM, QNT coins on your portfolio.

Great stuff,  you have invested in those coins which have potentials but I am bit surprised for the fact that Ethereum and BNB are missing in this list as ETH will never die just like bitcoin and we all know BNB is the best exchange token which will be useful as an investment and to buy new valuable tokens from finance launchpad.  Anyways have invested in the right coins but keep yourself up to date about all these altcoins.
Yes, op is missing some altcoin that is quite potential, such as ETH, XLM, XRP, and which is quite popular right now, BNB.  But if it has become an op decision then it is OK, as long as the op takes the decision with consideration of careful analysis.  the key for this investment is the right timing to determine buy, sell and hold positions.

From these coins, i would go for btc, vet and maybe kcs if it's cheap enough right now, i haven't checked for a while. I would get rid of utk and wouldn't touch that with a stick.
They had their shot, but the need of that project has passed and i can't see any future for them what so ever. And looking at their roadmap, they don't either.
I would add eth on the list and maybe ltc. And honestly would get rid of everything else on your list but that's just me and my take on it.

Also, take any obscure coin suggestions that will come in this thread with a grain of salt because everyone in here would like to get a buyer for their bags Wink

you have a good portfolio. You need to decide what is your strategy. if the strategy is long-term then leave it as it is. if the strategy is medium term, you will need to constantly rebalance the portfolio

Congrats on being an early adopter, although i hope you didn't buy in during the 2017 peak at $20k usd! In my opinion, thats a lot of coins and too much diversification into . altcoins. Adding to the difficulty of keeping track of all those coins, theres also the fact that most altcoins turn out to be scams.

If i were you i'd sell my alts and focus more on blue chip coins like BTC or ETH.

Your coin selection is not bad at all. Most of the coins you picked has all the potential to be a top altcoin someday and it would totally help you benefit soon as things go well according to your plan. It is just proper that btc is at the top of your list because amidst having crisis, we can all see that its value is still at the highest compared to all the other existing crypto. Eth I think should also be in your list because it is next to bitcoin on being the most successful bitcoin so I think you should take your time and think about including Ethereum on the list.

I do not see the best altcoins on the market in your portfolio  Grin I mean ETH and LTC. In my opinion those two are a must-have in every portfolio and you can easily replace UTK and XBY by more perspective and respectful alts.

eth and ltc are indeed one of the coins that have a better volume in the market than the coins you say. maybe by replacing some of your investments it will be better, and think again if you have not benefited you should just hold it, but it is only you who can make choices

I believe you did carry out research or you have a reason why you are holding those coins, first I would say you need just a few good coins to hold so you can follow updates properly, so you know when to sell or even when to buy more ,I think those are too much. Also in your portfolio there should be Bitcoin and Ethereum, I think you should also look at holding hydro, the team is really working.

ETN, NEO, WAVES, REBL don't seem to be good choices anymore. These coins are

I think that you must re-adjust your portfolios and then you should try to think about to replace your coins which are not showing good progress right now with new coins that has already created working product that can produce the revenue to the company. I can say some of coins in your profit are non profit company.

It's better for you try to sell your coin that is not having a good traction in the market and then replace it with a new one that already had thousand of users.

#4 through #11 I've never even heard of.  1-3 look pretty solid, though I'm not sure about waves as a long term hold.  Op if you're looking for some advice, you might try some proof of stake coins sort of like Neo.  At least while you're holding them you can earn some income instead of just hoping for capital gains.

This is a good list of coins, buddy. However, I do not understand why you did not add ETH and BNB? Although the most important thing is your ability to manage these coins. I recommend adding ETH and BNB to your portfolio.
I agree that Eth ought to be on the list.  Not sure about BNB, but it does seem to be very popular and you'd probably make money by holding it.  That's if Binance retains it's title as the best exchange out there.  If they go under or get hacked and can't recover their reputation, it's all over for BNB.

Looking at the coins I think they worth investing into. It's just that it might take you some period of time to sell and make your gain. You've got to be courageous. But one thing I've come to realise about holding coins is that with time they depreciate even on exchange. But that doesn't mean you won't have your profits neither. VERI was at 0.045eth about 6 months ago. But now at 0.1eth. Its good to hold but you might need to be courageous not to dump when all hope is gone. Appreciate you for doing this. And it really worth it.

Hi DaMut can you please explain to me how etn is bad for hodl because of its mobile mining? i have been mining the coin on my phone for months and till date i only earn 1000 etn which are really worthless in value so how is this a problem? please explain
What makes something expensive or valuable is the cost of the coin and the demand. Right now ETN demand is low while the daily generated coins are high, you say you earn around 1000 ETN monthly and do you know how many people are mining it?
the easier we mine it the less valuable it becomes, that is the logic of precious metal and cryptocurrency. If the team only allows the mining hardware to mine it, the value of ETN should be 2 times or even 5 times from now.
ETN is not suitable for holding because it is not valuable, unlike Bitcoin as an example.

stupid Q, what's the minimum of ETH to hold that not's embarrassing (lol)?

I can only afford a couple and i just can't see that giving me the returns like the cheaper coins with potential.

@rafter_01 I would advise you to hold onto your bitcoins, and sell all the other alts and replace them by Ethereum, XRP or Litecoins. These coins will give you more returns in the long run, or you could simply invest all your money in bitcoins for higher returns though it’s a risky move but if you hold them for the long term it should pay off.
