in ethereum, there are two different ways to control you account. one route is to utilize your private key. these are simply comprised of numbers, keys and letters. the other method to control you wallet is the UTC File together with you made secret word. one thing that you should play it safe is that you can never show signs of change you secret key again. so make certain to keep the UTC document together with your watchword in a bit of paper.

I forgot my MyEtherWallet password. I don't see "forgot password" in MyEtherWallet website. Is this means that I can't change my password anymore? Anyone have suggestions about this matter? Kindly share it to me please. Thanks!

Nope, they don't have that option "forgot password" on my etherwallet website. I don't know why you forget your own password, that's basically the most important think on your wallet lol. I think no one can help you about this problem, just make a new wallet and don't forget the password again. Why not use the auto save password on google chrome?

My dear, you do not need your password to access your Myetherwallet. Maybe you are referring to your Private key, which is couple of alphanumerics given to you the first time you logged in. I hope you saved it somewhere, that is what you can use to access your account, and if you didn't save it, then i'm sorry to say, but I don't think you can access the account anymore.

When you create myetherwallet wallet you get your private key and downloaded keystone/json file. Remember? Try it to sign in your wallet

While making another wallet, endeavor to make a private record in content and put it some place! Best wallet producer on the disconnected PC! Farthest point open wallet on the web and utilize a wallet for little and customary exchanges.

You probably cannot retrieve your account in myetherwallet because the there was no option that tells to retrieve your account hence it is the owners fault because you've forgot to save the private key and it was very important because the security of myehterwallet is great and they did not believe you even if you lose your private key because now a days there is a lot of scammer so it may be one of the reason that they not may entertain you. Try to browse your download file maybe you downloaded your private key I hope so good luck.

The password you enter when creating your account on MyLetterWalk does not have any effect. To log into your MEW, you need a private key to gain access to the wallet. If you lose the private key, I'll have to tell you that you will not be able to access your wallet and there is no way to retrieve it.

When you created your address via MEW (I presume) it gave you a JSON file. This file has your private key encrypted with your password. This is so if you leave your json file on your pc and it gets stolen. The thief needs to brute force the password. It is a way to reduce risk of the clear text private key being discovered.

That password encrypts the Keystore / UTC file and is used to unencrypt it to reveal your private key. So, you'll need either your private key (unencrypted - which you should have printed) OR the combo of both that password AND the Keystore / UTC file.

I'm learning myself, so if this is incorrect, I'm sure others will set us straight.

According to me if you forgot the password,no one can help you. It has some ways to recover it.
1) Try to remember the password.
2) Private key is an important back up and
3) Re-import it.

I advise you to keep your private key in several places, as an example on two different usb flash drive or hard disks.
in which case there is a greater chance of regaining access

Use your password only for Keystone to access your wallet. If you forget it, it's okay. You still have Private Key to log into your wallet.
There are 2 ways to log into your wallet, so do not worry. Or you can create a new wallet to be more secure.

If you mean something you can access your wallet with, then  I think you are referring to your private key, or any of the hardware if that's what you used. Your private key was given to you when you first signed up, and it was advised you keep safe, but somewhere you could easily get access to it. If you can't find it now, then I'm sorry, I don't there's any other way you can access your wallet, cos it cannot be recovered.

MyEtherWallet does not store your password, private key, or eth address. if you lose your private key, there is no other way than to create a new wallet. therefore I always keep my password, private key, and eth address in my laptop or google drive.
