If you lose your password, you can log in using the private key. But you must keep private key, if lost you will lose assets. I think you must keep private key and password wallet in a safe place.

I forgot my MyEtherWallet password. I don't see "forgot password" in MyEtherWallet website. Is this means that I can't change my password anymore? Anyone have suggestions about this matter? Kindly share it to me please. Thanks!
Probably they know, that MEW is important enough, that you will not forget your password to it. I`m having a maximum serious attitude to store my passwords, especially for MEW

Tgere is really np forgot password in MEW. when I created my MEW, yes I do provide password for it. But my password is non-sense for me because when I am opening my wallet I am just using my private key to open it. I know it is not safe to use my private key that is why I only open my wallet in times that I need to transfer some of my tokens.

Because if using MEW there is no password to open MEW is only private key, so if forgot password wallet mew no problem, because password mew only used for first time make mew, for next if want to open enough with private key.

Of course, if you do not have either a private key or a file, then it's very bad you can already say goodbye to your wallet. I hope there was not a large amount. If the password could be restored, then the theft of addresses would not be uncommon. Create a new wallet, use different ways of storing your passwords on different sources: print on paper, start a separate flash drive, etc. Best wishes to you

The password only for login to your wallet using Keystore / JSON File.

If you forgot the password, you can't recover/change your password;
Copied from the MeW website:
MyEtherWallet.com does not hold your keys for you. We cannot access accounts, recover keys, reset passwords

Are you save your private key or you have a mnemonic phrase? If not, do not expect you can access your wallet, your assets will be lost forever.

Yes, after you create a wallet in myeetherwallet site this can t change and only yourself know about it,. Here is my tips, use a thurd party apps like imtoken then import your account. You can send token out there to your new created wallet. Purpose is to transfer your money to a wallet which you know what password is it. Then dont forgot again and again

Do you mean you forgot your private key? There is no way to retreive your private key. You are the only one responsible for your private key.

Copied from the MeW website:

MyEtherWallet.com does not hold your keys for you. We cannot access accounts, recover keys, reset passwords, nor reverse transactions. Protect your keys & always check that you are on correct URL.  You are responsible for your security.

Yes, if you forgot your private key you cannot get back your account. For this situation, you need to make another one and for you to remember it, you can save it in a private document so that if you forgot again you can recover it easily. Be careful for the next time because you lost coin and it's a big regret for you. All your assets will be gone if you forgot it, ether wallet is very important specially in joining bounty campaigns. They require you to have a ether wallet. Therefore , If you lose or forgot your private key, there is no way to retrieve it.

If you have UTC file and remember your password then you can access your myetherwallet , if you forget password then there is no way to reset it.

If you have private key then you can access your wallet by private key.

If you don't remember private key and password both, then sorry to say you cannot access your wallet and no one can help.

Password? You can actually open your mew with your private key if you forgot the json file password, un crypto you have full control of your money so there will be no forget password button as they don't store people's password. If you don't have the private key and the json file then you lose access to your account forever.

Find a way to retrieve your private key, so you can retrieve your assets.
If you lose your private key, it is a pity that you may have lost the asset.

Myetherwallet are not consist of password to open your wallet. Private key is one of the most important things that you should be protected and have to send more other backups. If you forgot your private key your wallet you cannot open it. private key are cannot recover.

Don't confuse the concepts of key and password! in General, if any of this is no, then you did not unlock your wallet. And I have not encountered such moments to be honest, but I can not.

If what you mean is you forgot or misplace your private key, the only choice you have is to open your MyEtherWallet using JSON file. Make sure you recall the password that you use when you create your account. IF JSON file password is the one you misplace, you can open your MyEtherWallet using private key.

You should have read that my ether wallet is only an interface, they do not store your password so you are not going to see a "forgot your password" button where you can retrieve that information

This is the key point, MyEtherwallet is not an online wallet like blockchain.info where you can log in with an email and a password. Myetherwallet ask you for a password only to encrypt/decrypt your private key. The json file you download after you create the wallet is the encrypted private key, when you access myetherwallet with your json file you need to enter the password to decrypt the private key and access your ethers/tokens. Anyway, when you create a wallet, you have the option to write down your private key too. You can access myetherwallet with your private key without needing the password.

You should have read that my ether wallet is only an interface, they do not store your password so you are not going to see a "forgot your password" button where you can retrieve that information, the real question is why didn't you write that information? Because by what you state you do not imply that you write your password down, and that is a huge mistake, I know that there are many sites that recommend never to write your passwords but this is precisely the reason why you write them down because the human memory is not perfect and sometimes you forget, so in conclusion I'm sorry to say that unless you remember your password you have lost your coins.
