This is not all true it depends on the state government of the state, remember when Rotimi Ameachi was the governor of Rivers State he offered free feeding, free laptops, free uniforms, free text books to pupils and students for 8 good years. Either they are all not Almajiries or the Almajiries are too many. Could you believe schools in North offer free education and free feeding to children? Could you believe that some children are paid all because they are getting trained in some vocational training? Unlike the South. All because the North do not like going to school, all to just encourage parent to send their children to school. I mean free education and feeding not like the way in the South where you will still pay for feeding and some fee for first term in each session.

I was surprised in the South even uneducated (okay, I am not that right, semi-educated should be appropriate for this) people know amount of money in English, just because almost all still went to secondary school. In North they do not know that. Yes the Northerners controls the 70% of the country resources and the fact that majority of them still live in extreme poverty has been one of the problem to solve or explain for years but IMO I think this has to do with the population of family members compared to the south. The average size of Southern family is usually 5-6 while that of the North is 20 upwards so it becomes difficult to empower individuals or families so is not like wealth is not been circulate

These are the Almajiries - children without parents or children with extreme poor parents who are not capable to feed or take care of them so instead of giving them up for adoption they are made to feed themselves. The media is not blowing anything out if proportion, the media is giving reports of what's happening in the north, rather its the people who can't really relate the information that's contradicting the media, I also have lived in the North, and I must say it not everywhere that's suffering from the crisis but the north is fast becoming a danger zone and that not only in community, highway roads in the north is fast becoming a kidnapper's den.

The Northerners are very kind, very kind is still an understatement if comparing their kindness to Southerners, but their otherwise is worst, like herders prefer to kill someone than killing a cow. Even Benue is regarded as party of North Central, but I just regard it as Middle Belt. Be it North Central or Middle Belt, it is not regarded among the Southern state but also North.

Do not pay attention to the to what you see or hear from media about the Northern, its clearly that they are having some challenges but the media made us believe that all part of the Northern are not secured which is very wrong, I've been to so many part of the North and only few states and LGA are facing some security challenges. I have read an article before that the increasing population in the Southern (the South West, South East and the South South and all other states in the Southern Nigeria) is not much higher to larger extent while the Northern part of the country are the ones giving birth the most. It is the North that marry 13 year old girl and other underage female, it is them that practice polygamy family the most, it is them that mostly not taking care of the children (most especially the males).

The Northerners are not educated enough to the extent this will be possible. What the so called government should have in their plan is never in the government's agenda as well. But we see how many Nigerians became a modern slave to people in Libya and how many are dying in the Mediterranean Sea while trying to make it to Europe. The level of illiteracy and government negligence could result to higher population with increasing low standard of living. Nigeria in some years back surpassed India in the high poverty level and became the first in the world with people that are living below poverty level and yet with increasing population.

The hardship in the country is spreading like a virus that is making every family consider the number of children they will give birth to. Of recent, in southern and Eastern Nigeria no family want to give birth to children they can't train or feed due to the hardship in the country. If each family start to give birth to 2-4 children. Nigeria population won't be able to get to 400 million as estimated by 2050. But if the Northerners will be able to come to a simple understanding that is good to give birth to several children you can train, we'll be able to control the Nigeria population very well without much stress and problem
