Nice talk Bit Bender, though am also new to the forum but within my little stay here I've always found it interesting truth be told, am been surprised seing some new faces I've never come across their post on this thread before, possibly it's because of this our main board challenge encourages them to post or maybe we have not been posting to their taste, but either of the ways, I strongly advise we adhere to rules and regulations, these are normal etiquettes expected of individuals to emulate, it's as simple as knock before you entered into someones house or read your exams questions carefully before starting the attempt to answering them.

I also observed possibly we encourage our new comers to make quality post mostly related to btc, I've noticed that some of our naija people post on off topics, sport, gambling Among others which has not contributed much to their growth, I understand the freedom they enjoy to post anyhow from those child boards, but we can still learn and develop ourselves to a professional standard, we talk, and post reasonably, quality and worth reading post is encouraged here and other boards.

Lastly, I really want to appreciate everyone on this platform for the love for our beloved country Nigeria, and for being our brother's keeper, sometimes your association determines your fate in live. It may seems uneasy now but we will all enjoy the benefit of the struggle to achieve our own board in due time, let make the thread lively and make upto a page each day from our posts as said earlier by some members. If they call our ip as evil and so on we must not behave it.

Our ip is considered evil but nigerians can register by paying the fee, I think it's not only nigeria that has has an evil Ip issue, but nigerians has resolve and I think a local board can help our many voices, if you are a -Newbie- always read rules and frequently asked questions I think you would find us here earlier, furthermore I think what other local board has that we don't or we don't have now is one spirit and mind, I think we should work on that and do always the things that would make nigeria proud.

You are absolutely right, but we can not have bitcoin child board, it will be included as part of our main board, just like while asking UTME (JAMB) student which subjects are they writing, they will only indicate three, no need to indicate the fourth because everyone knows it is English  , so Bitcoin discussion is already part of our main board. But other suggestions is great, I think. What do you think about Bitcoin discussion, hope you get what I am try to imply, or you still have any convincing suggestion?

About politics, anything related to it that Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies are not involved may be considered as off-topic if we do not have the child-board, but I too will suggest that we can apply for politics and society board later if need be, but with the research I did on other local boards recently, I do not think it is necessary to have it as a child-board too.

We have discussed this matter before we concluded that all Nigerian languages are welcomed. First of all, bitcoin and other crypto users in Nigeria can read and understand both Pidgin and English very well, and the main reason for this local board is to help Bitcoin and other crypto users, to also try form a market hub using our local board. The main reason for the local board is for the community usefulness irrespective of the language used. If you have been reading my posts, you will understand this as I post more in English. But this never limit us to post in Pidgin, in fact, BBC Nigeria is in Pidgin, although not in core Pidgin, but that does not change the fact that it is in PIdgin. We can even accept translation work of English contents which will be translated into Pidgin. So far both are the two commonest languages in Nigeria. About impersonating Nigeria, we will do all our best to make sure this will not happen on our local board, just watch out and see after we have our local board. And what if a Nigerian use Pidgin to impersonate other Nigerians? Newbies have to know how to avoid this generally as they will also still be exposed to the English board.

For the local board matter, I suggest say make we set the official language as pigin..not pigin English but pigin. Why I talk so? Other local board dey promote their native language them nor dey put body for English matter and nai make other users nor fit dey shook eye for their board. If we will not have this repeated, we should follow the advice of Upgrade00, Naija vibes and music can still fit into off-topic. But about politics and society suggested by Upgrade00 and Gbniman, I think we should add it along because we discuss more also about politics and society on this thread very well.

About sport, I noticed we do not discuss much about sport related to Nigeria on gambling board of the forum and neither are we discussing about it here on this thread, I have never even seen a single post about sport related to Nigeria or Africa on this local thread before, it can be what can be requested for later if there are many of such threads on our local board after we have to be given it. Like we commented before, new theads can later be added.

To be sincerely it a good idea though but to my own understanding I believe main board should be our country crypto discussion related to crypto and Nigeria  discussion

Childboard: economics, music, sport, politics and any option that fit in child board.
I believe we can do it and make alot of progress on th forum.

Any board we are requesting must be similar or exactly the same as boards represented in the main forum.
Sports, vibes, music etc are all off topic discussions and 1 off topic board would cover them.
I believe crypto discuss should be split into 2, as it is in the main forum, Bitcoin discussion and Altcoin discussion.
Politics is a recurring topic of debate on this thread and would make an interesting child board as well.

All the ideas were in good shape and am in total support for it, but let me suggest how I wish the board should look,
Main board: Naija crypto discussion (which can comprise of all news related to crypto and naija discussion

Childboard: economics, naija vibes, music, sport, politics and legal

This is just my opinion, contrary suggestions and opinions are welcome, we will all achieve this together in due time.

You do beta work for here igehhh, I they very sure say this analysis take plenty of your time and sleep, and I'm pretty sure you'll be giving us more of this sort of analysis in the future, keep up the good work mate.
Of course, it's nothing new and I'm not surprised, CBDC's are basically just designed to function like the issuing country's fiat currency, the only thing is that it is in a digital form, it would be controlled and printed by the government and is nothing like Bitcoin or other decentralized currencies. I think the Nigerian government is just following the bandwagon with this move, Nigeria has more pressing issues like unemployment, insecurity, lack of basic amenities and even inflation, the government should rather be trying to solve this issues and improve the state of the country and leave CBDC's for developed countries for now.
We must not all individually make postulations when yours is just fine, Imo i think your suggestion for the main board and child boards is perfect and good enough for us to present to the larger part of the forum (most especially the administrators) for their approval or disapproval, but one thing I want to ask is, is it necessary we request for an off-topic child board for now, I think we can leave that out and maybe request for it's addition when we already have our own local board.
