I've received a few questions regarding the BitFunder account and wanted to assure everyone that I am using 2-factor authentication on the account.  I assume this is the thread that generated some concern: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitfundercom-has-been-hacked-and-it-is-bitfunders-fault-251051

I was actually expecting double the donation.  Then I remember the ASICs have only been online for 4 days

Our P2Pool luck has been below the norm since we got the ASICs running as well.  Hopefully we catch a lucky streak soon.  You can monitor us and our P2Pool luck using the following link: http://p2pool.info/  - It also makes a cash register sound each time a block is found.  Smiley

Distribution 244964 is complete. This distribution had most donations since nastyfans exist. Even more than distribution 217037 when OgNasty donated 14.8 BTC as appreciation for the fans.

Any miner pr0n by chance?  Grin

Here you go.

We have more 60Ghz on order correct?  When do we expect those to arrive?

Yes, we currently have 5 more 60GH/s miners on order.  When we'll get them is anybody's guess, but we do have a few more orders very high up the queue I would expect to see "soon."

Got a few questions, no major rush to answer them  Cool

1) Is there any reason you dont show BTC holding in OP
2) For other coins mined what is plan for these e.g convert to BTC and what frequency?
3) For the other shares we have bought are we realising these or are they pending?
4) as others show us the miner pr0n Cheesy

Thanks and keep up the great work!

No problem.

1) Yes.  I transferred the funds out of NASTY MINING's holdings this morning and into BitFunder.  I've been considering making another asset purchase as the Graet.Loan shares seemed lonely.  When the wallet is empty (as the BTC & FTC wallets currently are) the image displaying the balance disappears.  I'll let more BTC accumulate now that we'll be getting larger distributions.
2) We will be saving these until a proper way to redeem your share of them for BTC has been put in place.  This is currently under development.
3) Not sure I understand the question.  If you're referring to the Graet.Loan shares, I'm holding them to get a return on BTC instead of having it sitting there.  I'd like to continue to explore alternative BTC revenue streams.
4) Soon.  I'm still playing with different configurations to see what keeps temps down the best.

You're welcome!

Thanks OgNasty, very informative Smiley

Nice!

I found out about Nasty Mining by watching my P2Pool client, noticing the recent domination.  So, I bought a seat at the fan club.  Very cool!

Very cluttered.  I got everything running, and for the most part our ASICs look nice and happy.  The 5 remaining FPGAs waiting to be sent back are pretty much thrown around the room.  I'll get it cleaned up after a shower and some rest.  Perhaps tomorrow (or soon) I'll post some miner pr0n.

Any miner pr0n by chance?  Grin  Also - heard some got extras from BFL, did you get anything?  If so - please post pics with the miner pr0n, thanks Nasty!

Pretty exciting to see the first donation roll in!

How do these donations work? I can't tell if i've received mine or not.

Equilux was referring to the donation hitting the 1Nasty address.  Donations are distributed to NastyFans every Friday and are sent to the donation address you specify in the settings tab on NastyFans.org.

From what I understand, each seat is currently around half a BTC, and each seat represents a share of the current total mining hash rate, which right now is a bit above 10 Mhash/s per seat.

There is obviously something more going on since that is way too much for such a small hash rate per seat, so I want to ask, what else is there?

When people bought seats in December 2012 there was 1MH/s per seat. Those same seats now have >10MH/s per seat. In a few months maybe that goes to 20 MH/s per seat.

With NASTY MINING reinvesting 25% to itself new hardware is purchased for future.

The MH/s per seat increases without any cost to fanclub members. Longterm fans already know this.

Hopefully this is a good place to ask.

Are there more BFL rigs ordered, avalon rigs ordered, other ASIC's ordered? I see that there is a screenshot a page before showing that there are 320Ghash/s of ordered rigs , but that would pull the seat share rate only a tiny bit higher based on the current total share rate being 270 Ghash/s, which still does not seem worth the current seat price.

Also, you all seem like a very light hearted and happy bunch, which is very refreshing on the securities sub forum!

Thanks for stopping by!  I think you raise some good points about the price per seat being a little high compared to the current hashing speed per share.   However, I think most seats are held by individuals with longer term investment plans, as a considerable amount of donations go toward reinvestments and these are largely diversified nicely, see OP for reference.   Nasty has also been incredibly transparent and quick to respond along with Nonnakip being great with running the fan club.   Ultimately, we have a level of trust and transparency which keeps the drama to a minimum, and it has built a ton of confidence in seat owners that it isn't a fly by night operation.   I think when you consider these factors along with the fact that we just received our first batch of asics, the value per seat I still believe is actually a little underpriced.   Peace of mind is worth a lot in my opinion, and I've yet to have a reason to worry about my investment here.
