New Orleans Pelicans - Los Angeles Lakers - Los Angeles Lakers (-4.5) - Not a Laker fan but I think they can win this game.
Dang, you're lucky to catch that alt spread as the lowest i've seen was at -5.5 then the highest goes up to -9.5 for the Lakers.

I also see them winning this game while the Pelicans cover the main spread, that said i'll be on the Pelicans +8.5 and hope they can hold it down to a few possessions.

Even though the Lakers have more firepower on their roster, i'll rely on the home advantage since there are underdogs that can surprisingly bring on the pressure against good teams.

Quote
LeBron James posts 4th straight triple-double in Lakers' win

James tied the Lakers' franchise record for consecutive triple-doubles set by Russell Westbrook (Dec. 25-31, 2021) and Magic Johnson, who did it twice (March 28-Nov. 3, 1981, and March 31-April 5, 1987).

LeBron 10+ rebounds / LeBron 10+ assists @4.20

I'm a sucker for when players are about to accomplish a career milestone or break an NBA record, always try to sneak a bet or two. With a potential fifth consecutive triple-double, LeBron will own the franchise record.

Since DLo was removed from the starting lineup, LeBron has been on an absolute tear:

Note, Rebounds + Assists pays more than the regular Triple-Double market if anyone wants to tail, R+A @4.20 vs. TD @3.5!
-----

I had a decent winner on James Harden to tie R. Allen for 2nd all-time 3s made last night, also 19+ odds acca.

The Timberwolves won, but they could've won it in a better way. The Kings somehow did a great job at closing the gap. 130-126.
LA Lakers won, congratulations to the ones who bet for them.
The New York Knicks didn't cover the high spread, the Nets managed to close the gap.

No Jokic, yes problem. That's how the Nuggets will work. Being defeated by the Pelicans is such a big shame for me. It just means they need Jokic every game.
1/4 for me.
Here are my picks for later games.
Charlotte Hornets - Milwaukee Bucks - Milwaukee Bucks (-1.5)
New Orleans Pelicans - Los Angeles Lakers - Los Angeles Lakers (-4.5) - Not a Laker fan but I think they can win this game.
Boston Celtics - Toronto Raptors - Boston Celtics (-14.5) - It's too much but it's the defending champion Boston against one of the worse teams.
Good luck everyone!

Got the pick right again.. I thought the Lakers were in trouble when the Spurs started strong and built a double-digit lead. But the Spurs are still young and couldn’t hold on, letting the more experienced Lakers stage a comeback. Good for the Lakers though, they needed that win to keep their streak alive and boost their standing, now up to rank 5. Davis was a beast in that game, scored 40 points from 14-26 shooting, looks like they really go dominated in the paint.
The clean start from the Spurs in the first quarter got me worrying too, and eventually, the Lakers found a few stops to start a run and shift the tide of the game.

We ended 1 out of 3 today. Tough break for the Warriors...they should’ve sealed that 4th quarter easily, but they got outscored by 10 points, ending with just a 5-point win. Just another regular day; sometimes you just get unlucky. Still, we’re aiming for consistency, but it’s been hard to lock it down so far.
I also had a bet riding on the Warriors spread and I thought it was already in the bag since they only needed to milk the clock or hit their free throws. It was disgusting how they threw away several possessions and allowed the Grizzlies to score several points like that in the final minute.

1-1 for these bets.  Undecided

I've decided to bet on Hornets and Bucks game but not with a match winner bet but an over 220.5 total points bet.

I've avoided the handicap and went for the match-winner since these games could still come down to the last possession and the Spurs have a 5/7 record at home.

I'm also on the Lakers today, even though the Spurs are racking up some wins recently I think their seventh win would come from another team because this is the NBA Cup match and the Lakers will probably treat this more than a regular match.

I've avoided the handicap and went for the match-winner since these games could still come down to the last possession and the Spurs have a 5/7 record at home.

12 games again today for the NBA Cup Group Stage (Play-In Tournament). Place bets only on the teams you think will win! Here's my pick for tonight's games that I believe will win: Money Line

Indiana Pacers ✅ vs. Miami Heat ❎
New York Knicks ✅ vs. Brooklyn Nets ❎
Atlanta Hawks ✅ vs. Washington Wizards ❎
Houston Rockets ✅ vs. Los Angeles Clippers ❎
Golden State Warriors ✅ vs. Memphis Grizzlies ❎

I'm having a hard time with other games; I think I might make mistakes. These are the only 5 games where I believe my predictions are correct.

I like the Lakers over the Spurs and the Cavs over the Bulls today.  Feeling confident so I'd roll them in a parlay for some decent odds.  That Lakers/Spurs game is on ESPN today so that might be worth watching.  I'm expecting AD and LeBron to try and put on a show for Wemby so he knows who is still in charge, but it would be great to see Wemby dominate as well.  I just don't think he's there yet even though his game the other night was something special.

Lakers vs Spurs definitely should be a good watch, you know both Lebron and Anthony Davis would never back down from such matchup even though neither of still needs to prove themselves, that said the odds for Lakers ML looks really good tbh and they should be able to get the W tonight and possibly even cover the -3 spread they're currently offered.

For Cavaliers backing them is becoming quite tricky especially when you have a mindset of them being due for a loss at some point and with each game passing it feels like the day is fast approaching, the odds are becoming ridiculously low on them as well.

Over under seemed like a risky bet as Dallas can drop 130 a night easily so I decided to bet Dallas Moneyline. Hoping Klay, Luka, and Kyrie keep their foot on the pedal and don't let up.

Looks like you’re right; this is turning into a high-scoring affair with a total of 125 points just by halftime. I didn’t expect it to be such a close game, it seems the home team is putting up a fight, (61-64), just a three-point difference. Let’s see if the Jazz still has something left in the tank for the second half. Anyway good luck moneyline bet on Dallas.

@ralle14 won his bet as the total ended at just 228. Both teams had their runs in the second half, but Dallas couldn’t complete the comeback in the 4th, falling to the Jazz. This marked Dallas’ 4th straight loss, while the Jazz secured their first home win.

Jordan Clarkson took over in the 4th, with another JC stepping up to make big shots. The last play was huge, Dallas seemed to fall asleep, and the JC-to-JC connection kept Dalla's losing streak alive. Final score: 115-113, a 2-point win for the Jazz.
Such a brutal game for me. I had parlayed Philly -4.5 last night with Dallas ML and wake up to see Philly covers in the football game and the Mavs suck balls and can't beat the trashy Jazz. Luka did his job and Klay did ok I suppose but the other starters just blew. Might have to take a break on Dallas for awhile, they can't cover spreads at all and can't beat bad teams it seems. If they're the fav, take the points and the other team.

I didn't expect that from the Jazz but that's a great win for them to boost their confidence back. Mavs needs Kyrie back, his chemistry with Doncic is better than how it is with Klay Thompson.

Later, we have 12 games. Damn, that's a lot. Here are my picks.

Indiana Pacers - Miami Heat - Indiana Pacers (-2.5)
New York Knicks - Brooklyn Nets - New York Knicks (-10.5)
Oklahoma City Thunder - Phoenix Suns - Oklahoma City Thunder (-5.5)
New Orleans Pelicans - Denver Nuggets - Denver Nuggets (-2.5)

Good luck everyone, have a nice day!

I've missed the games a while ago and so moving on with two games that I've chosen to pick, Heat and Spurs. Spurs made me won games last times that I bet on them so, I'd continue to bet on them for a while. Tell me if I did some good calls on these bets for the game winners. I also like the odds that these picks have.

It looked impossible, but i'm glad it still came through. I didn't expect my bet to cash when both teams were shooting for 50% in the first three quarters then the game slowed down in the fourth with that near comeback from the Mavs.

I thought my under had no business winning that because the live totals stayed within 240+ points when I tuned in the fourth quarter. I guess you never count your bet out until it's over.  Wink

That’s pure luck right there, they only scored 48 points in the 4th quarter. If Dallas hadn't managed to come back, it could’ve been a high-scoring 4th. Or on that low scoring quarter could even gone into overtime if they’d chosen to drive the ball inside. Just bad luck for Dallas..Luka didn’t take the last shot, or even Klay could’ve stepped up. But no complaints since that gave you a win.  Cheesy

By the way, this is like the 3rd or 4th time in Dallas’ last games where their final attempts didn’t go in...

For tomorrow.

The surprising thing of all is that the Chicago Bulls won against the New York Knicks. I don't know how much the ML for the Bulls yesterday but I am guessing it is big because it was -10.5 for the Knicks. Lucky for those who believe in upsets like that to happen.
From what I recall the spread for the Bulls game was a bit lower (7-8 points) because it was a b2b game for the Knicks. I knew it was a trap game, but I still placed a bet on them thinking the lack of rest would offset their home advantage.

Also, i'm playing the under 230.5 for the Jazz game. Their last meeting ended with 212 points and I think the Jazz will do their best to keep this game from hitting 230 points since they don't always drop 110 points per game, unlike the Mavs.
