Got it perfect, I  really like when a team got underestimated too much because they don't have their star beacuse they won most of the time, or at least cover the spread. and let's get this going.

1- Cleveland -5 win
I will continue to trust the Cleveland playing geat at home, the spread is just right, not a trappy one so let's get this one.

2-Suns +1.5 loss
They are the better team for me IMO, their playoff experience will start in this game and if this will be a close game, I think the Suns are gonna steal one game on the road.

3.Lakers+7 win
Everyone is probably expecting that the Nuggets are gonna win this game easy, I say it's going to be a close game and the Lakers might even win. I think Lebron understands how important is game 1, so expect a very physical game.  Just a side bet but not counting it on my record, I like the under  223.5.

Updated record 4(W)-3(L)..... 57%

Good start by the Lakers but like their previous match ups, Lakers still collapse in the 2nd half.
Once the Nuggets figure out the right adjustment, it seems like the Lakers have no more answer and that's what we witness in that game. I even thought they'll win but turns out they loss and unable to cover the handicap.

Let's jump to the upcoming games anyway.

Miami +14
I think Boston is just too overvalued to give this high handicap on a team that beat them in the regular season with the same line up.

Dallas -2.5
I like them to take the first win, no Leonard in this game and the Dallas are currently on a great run, it should continue here.

Pelicans +8.5
No Zion but they proved they can win, so I like taking them with this high handicap against a young OKC team.

I would say the advantage is more likely for the OKC, fresh legs and composed of players who really got a good blends and chemistries, they just need to play the same way that they've got, rotate the ball and be aggressive to find the best shot to score.
I was wondering if anyone here know the series odds for this two?.. I was looking at my bookie but I could not find the exact market, I would probably be betting on the Pelicans if the OKC is heavily favored, I people would think that the Pelicans have no chance without Zion, but I would love to try, and I believe that the Pelicans are not gonna be sweep in this match up. I can see now that the Pelicans are +8.5 in game 1... too high, isn't it?

Knicks ML / OG Anunoby 1+ stocks @1.78   won

The NBA playoffs are a sight for sore eyes. I was sick of those double-digit spreads in the final two months of the regular season, and we had some truly awful games.

I'm on the Knicks to take Game 1, think they have more to offer and i expect the atmosphere at the Garden to be electric.

The 76ers have Embiid back and have improved defensively, ranking second in DEFRTG /L10, but there are too many question marks on offense...who can you trust outside of Maxey and Embiid? Harris is having a down year, Oubre is a streaky shooter, no bench depth, and Lowry, at 38, is their starting point guard...i mean good luck guarding Brunson or chasing down DiVincenzo off those screens.

I also have OG's 1+ stocks added to my ticket. He is arguably the best defender in this series, 1+ stocks in 6/L6 since his return from injury.

Pels won against Sacramento so everything is set on the West, I thought that the Kings will win, but the Pelicans even without Zion played great defense and it carried them. Although we want to see Zion in the playoffs, but as you can see in this game, in the sideline, he is happy seeing his team moving to the playoff.
he is happy because probably he still have a chance to play. The godo news is that they are gonna play the OKC which I think the Pelicans have an edge in terms of experience. We've seen their defense, they can do the same with the OKC,  and I feel that it's gonna be a long series.

Although Pelicans has an experience advantage over KYC, it’s just not big since Pelicans is still composed of mid fresh players. I think CJ McCollum is the only player with them with real experience advantage since he is veteran players from Portland. OKC is full of young talented players capable of bridging the small experience gap.

OKC already proved themselves by having a good run on the regular season even against with the strong team. It’s very hard to stop on zone Shai since he is capable to use his teammates for scoring.

Not only CJ, you forgot about these two guys, Jonas Valančiūnas who has played playoff games when he was still playing with the Toronto Raptors and Brandon Ingram and some casts that are still now who were in the playoffs last year 2022 which gave the Suns a problem as the series reach to game 6 before they loss.

I'm just saying that in terms of experience the Pelicans have it, and that time in the playoffs, there's also no Zion, so it's safe to say that they are pretty much using the same line up with some minor +- on the roster.

You said it right, it's not the first time for the NP to reach this far if my memory serve it right 2022 season they got that chance playing against the Suns, now, they will be playing against the young OKC, we will see if how they'll going to work it out trying to upset the top seeded from the west side.

I would say the advantage is more likely for the OKC, fresh legs and composed of players who really got a good blends and chemistries, they just need to play the same way that they've got, rotate the ball and be aggressive to find the best shot to score.

Let's see the Clippers vs Mavs, I think this is one of the most intriguing match up in the first round. Would love to see Luka playing well together with Kyrie and how the big 3 of the Clippers will respond. They have history of choking so very interesting on how they are going to react to Luka if he takes over the game, scoring 40 points and at least 10 assists. So I'm with you with the Mavs beating the Clippers in 6 games.
The absence of Leonard might give the Clippers some problem. If you look at the series betting odds now, it has already flip, the Dallas Mavericks have become the heavy favorite to win. If we think that Mavericks will win, I think they will likely win game 1, and the spread is only -2 for them.

No games today sadly, so we can all prepare for tomorrow's halving event.  Smiley

Still, I couldn't resist getting a bet in for tomorrow.  I know, I know...  The Kings are 0-5 against the Pelicans this year, they're playing in New Orleans and are also given odds.  Probably should think this is a terrible bet but I don't at all.  Granted I'm a hometown Sacramento boy, but there's absolutely no way the Kings lose this game and I'm betting on it.

New Orleans Pelicans - Sacramento Kings
Winner (Incl. Overtime)
Sacramento Kings

Odds
1.86

Yeah, I think if Zion is not going to play, Sacramento got the edge and so that bet is good and I was also go that route as they are now the favorite in that game. Pels are at 1.99 and that is a long shot already.

Los Angeles vs Denver Nuggets - the Lakers are a huge underdog in game 1.

While the Clippers and the Mavs are almost even at this point.

I'm taking the Mavericks in game one.  I think Luka and kyrie are built for road game villains.  If one is having an off night the other can drop 40.  I'm not touching the Pelicans game, even without zion I still think they got a decent shot against sacramento.  Ingram can be an alpha whenever he wants and he shoukd show up huge in that game tomorrow.

B. Adebayo 4+ assists / D. DeRozan 4+ assists @1.66  won

congrats @morvillz7z, just at the right number, nothing more, nothing less as both players only have 4 assisst each on their names.

I hope you guys didn't follow the hype of the Bulls, there wasn't Jimmy but it turns out the Miami Heat have played very well and have dominated the visiting team. 21 points victory, that's just insane considering the Bulls are healthy and Heat just missed their best player.

B. Adebayo 4+ assists / D. DeRozan 4+ assists @1.66  won

Bulls/Heat rematch of last year's play-in elimination game...hard to believe Heat made it all the way to the Finals later that year. I think the Bulls will get revenge today and make their way to the playoffs.

I have Bam and DeRozan's assists. The Heat are without Butler and Rozier, which means they are missing two playmakers. Bam's playmaking duties should see an increase, as the Heat have plenty of catch-and-shoot guys on the team who can benefit from his vision and playmaking abilities. Bam has 4+ assists in both regular-season games against the Bulls this season.

DeRozan led the Bulls with 9 assists (out of 13 potential assists) against the Hawks. Both Caruso and Ayo are banged up. I wouldn't be surprised if he, C. White, and Vucevic all play close to 40 minutes again. DeRozan has gone 4+ assists in all 4 games against the Heat this season.

That's what will happen if the Lakers wins the game 1 but it's Nuggets and it is on shape and prime, to be honest.

But we'll see, as both teams are changing on these kinds of do or die matches.

I thought you are a Laker fan? you should believe on them, don't base on the past as this could  be different now. The lakers and Nuggets will still face anyway if they'll not meet in the first round, but this is a 7 game series, a lot of adjustments will happen here and the Lakers have better chemistry this season compared to the last time.

Don't think the the Lakers will lose, they'll compete with the Nuggets as it's the legacy of Lebron is at stake here.

Just calm down, maybe bet on them in game 1, who knows upset could happen.
I am.

But do you remember what happened last season? They've been swept, it's okay to be a fan but you should also embrace reality.

Well, you're right. We should believe on them and it's not really crucial to me and it's up to them if they've got some better plans today based on what happened in the past.

Good luck to them.

Yup, there's  a big difference with the current lineup compared to who they've got last season, though Jimmy, Bam and Herro still rotates the same system but that 3-points productions with Duncan, Gabe and Max that's really works well with how they rotate the ball, and with that last season squad, the confidence is something that blends them well.

Though not done yet for the Miami as they can extend their campaign if they manage to beat the Bulls and who knows, if they managed to upset the Celtics last season we might see another one, though that chance is really slim as Boston's squad improves a lot and with how Tatum and Brown leads the offense, it's really a different competition in case Miami move up for the final birth for the east playoff.

I think they can beat Bulls tomorrow, They almost beat complete line-up sixers even with their incomplete roster while Chicago is much manageable to beat than Sixers that just beat them on a very close game.

Clutch Jimmy Buckets can easily dominate team like Bulls. My concern for them is when they are against team like Boston and Bucks with their current line-up with lack of fire power on 3 points.

My prediction for Tomorrow is Pelicans and Heat will claim the last spot on Playoffs.

They need to work things together to fill that last spot, not sure if what and how the Buĺls will try to upset them but it's the last game for both of them if whoever lose the game, everything will be showcase here,  though Miami still got the slight favorite as you mentioned they almost upset the Sixers which is much stronger than the Bulls and maybe with that same system that they are working they can achieved winning their last game.

In west side, I also see the advantages of Kings against the Zion-Less NP, though CJ and Ingram might bring the spark but knowing how Kings playing the game,  they blend so well which is a good advantage against NP.

Here we go! The battle for the 8th spot of both East and West.

7:00 AM GMT +8 I will probably watch this halftime or if I wake up earlier I can watch it full.
Miami Heat - Chicago Bulls - Miami Heat (-1.5)
Last time I bet for the Bulls, this time I bet for the Heat. I don't trust the Bulls when it comes to defeating a stronger team against them and I bet the Miami Heat is so frustrated after their loss against the 76ers, it was a close game though but that loss could spark things up.
9:30 AM GMT +8
New Orleans Pelicans - Sacramento Kings - Sacramento Kings ML

The Pelicans will be Zion-less so this will be a big minus for them on the offensive end. Brandon Ingram will probably step up his game but the Kings have Sabonis, Fox, and Keegan. They were not lucky in winning against the Warriors, they just played efficiently on both ends of the floor.

Zion was already announce unavailable on their do or die game vs the Kings.

Zion Williamson injury: Pelicans star out for Play-In game vs. Kings with hamstring strain

Ingram and CJ  should play harder to win, they are at their home court, they are in advantage so I trust them even without Zion the Lion.
What I can say is good luck to them and we'll see if the Kings will take it or not yet.

As a Lakers fan, I'm sad that my confidence is quite low if it's against Joker's gang.

They need to prove first, maybe the spread or the odds will change if they'll upset the Nuggets in game 1.
A high handicap against a popular team is an indication that the Nuggets are really the better team than the Lakers.

Yes, I would agree about the Mavericks are built for road games. And even if Clippers had good players and potential HOF, Luka alone is very hard to contained even if PG will be the one taking the job of guarding Luka.

And we all know that great players rises to the occasion specially in playoff. And with the way Luka is playing, at any night he can drop 40 and still have the energy to toy with the Clippers. Not sure who's going to be the main trash talker in the side of Clippers though, as Luka again thrive in this kind of situation and wanted to have some kind of mental games like he did with Phoenix and Booker like in the last two seasons.

One more chance for Miami to move forward for the playoffs they just need to win the game against the Bulls, then let see if they can pull another upset if they face the Celtics.

What happened last year to Miami Heat in their playoff run seems unlikely to happen again, especially if they'll face the Celtics in the first round. If they were play against the Bucks again in 1st round it might be possible since the Bucks seems shaky now. But if the Heat make it to the playoffs in the first round and beat the Celtics what happened last season could happen again. Because I think if they can beat the Celtics it'll be easy for them to defeat the teams in Semi and Conference Finals.

Miami already gives up most of their core players back then that contributes a lot with their good run like Gabe Vincent and Max Struss while Duncan Robinson is still injured. Miami Heat current roster even with Herro coming is not the same with their sharp 3 pointers back then during clutch. This is the reason why they beat Boston and Bucks back then even though they seem an underdog with their line-up.

Clutch Jimmy Butler and Adebayo is not enough to do a miracle run like what they did last year since their 3 points shot is their main weapon back then to kill this monster team that is so good on paint.
