I feel a little bit like I'm tempting fate taking the Milwaukee Bucks over the Atlanta Hawks today. Especially after I've been talking about how horrible the Milwaukee Bucks have been playing at times this season. Still, it's always hard to bet against Giannis and I think he'll come through today. The Thunder/Rockets game was a little easier to pull the trigger on. I just don't like the Houston Rockets and I think the OKC Thunder have outperformed the last couple of years, so they've gotta be doing something right.

Damn it! That almost made me lose 1 more game.
First, Joel Embiid got hurt after he was smacked in the face in the 2nd quarter and he didn't come back. The Philadelphia 76ers lost because of that against the lowest rank in the whole NBA, the Wizards.
Then, Anthony Edwards also hurt himself by tripping his own foot, which made him go to the locker room to check it and the Lakers had a good run of 19-4 if I remember it right. Thankfully, Edwards went back to play and they still won it which also covered the spread. McDaniels did a great job in this game.

2/4 for me. Whew!
The Cavaliers won but did not cover, just as I thought the -14.5 was just too much.

Phoenix Suns is also having it somewhat easy against Utah Jazz with the return of Kevin Durant and Nurkic, only Denver Nuggets vs LA Clippers is currently going back and forth, it seems like a bit of an off day in the office for Jokic midway through the 3rd quarter, he still sits at 9pts, 7reb and just 1 assist, along with 5 turnovers. Goodluck the rest of the way, hopefully Jokic would step things up because Nuggets are out of all sorts without him at his usual best.

I was going to add Indiana too. I should have. The fact they didn’t get the odds scared me. Anyway, the Suns are up by two right now in the third. Too close for comfort but it looks like I might have a bit of a parlay winning streak on my hands. Surely that will jinx my though. Go Phoenix!

They didn’t start strong.. only 50 points total in the first quarter. They’ll need to score more in the next quarters for this game to hit the over. I thought you were betting on the Wizards moneyline since they upset the Nuggets in their last game. We might see another upset here.

Anyway, the game’s far from over. You know how the NBA is, game pace can change in an instant.

And if JP catches fire again, who knows what could happen.

I did go with the over 226.5 as I think this could be a high scoring game. We all know that both teams can really score, they have players like Mitchell on the Cavs and then Jordan Poole who is hard to stop once he gets going.

Hopefully we have better luck today. I also went with the Sacramento Kings to beat the New Orleans Pelicans and the Boston Celtics to beat the Detroit Pistons in a parlay. The odds were only about 1.59:1, but I feel pretty confident that it will be a winner. The Celtics and the Kings are just the better teams so it will be their games to lose. The Pelicans show flashes of brilliance, but their consistency leaves room to be desired.

0 for 2. That’s embarrassing for my gambling picks. The Golden State Warriors game was a heartbreak losing by one point to the Houston Rockets. The New York Knicks game was also a disappointment in that they provided a ton of highlights but couldn’t take home the win against the Atlanta Hawks.

Yeah, most of us here got 0 for 2. I've expected the Knicks to won against the Hawks, but it seems that Hawks playing villain again here. And then Warriors was down in the game but they were able to turn it around and even take the lead with less than a minute.

But Curry missed the shot and then GPII trying to pass it to his team mate but in the ensuing play, Jalen Green gets fouled and then shoot that 2 FT for the final score, ouch.

I am not wrong, Orlando Magic will fight back and I lost my bet as I need more point for the Bucks to cover the spread that I chose. Ergh!!! I hate one point loss.
Anyway, we have two games again later and expect it to be a hardcore match. The two winners of this game will proceed to the semi-finals of the NBA Cup battling the Bucks in the East and the Thunder in the West. Expect a close game too.

New York Knicks - Atlanta Hawks - New York Knicks (-6.5) @1.71 - Again, just like with the other games yesterday, I like to think that the opposing team will fight back so I am not going for the max handicap. -6.5 should be enough.

I quite agree on the Knicks being better than the Hawks, it should be an interesting game just the both games played today. Atlanta Hawks have been playing extremely well as of late, and even being a clinch that group ahead of both Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers is enough to have an understanding of how good they've been, more so now that they seem to have all their guys back healthy.

I almost joined the Dallas / OKC Thunder party late, but I was able to hit my lone same game parlay with a sweet 18.94x Odds. The bet was pretty close to being a burst with Irving sitting on 3 assists and OKC running building a huge lead, however, he was able to get 2 more assists in the 4th Quarter.
