Los Angeles vs Denver Nuggets - the Lakers are a huge underdog in game 1.

While the Clippers and the Mavs are almost even at this point.

I'm taking the Mavericks in game one. I think Luka and kyrie are built for road game villains. If one is having an off night the other can drop 40. I'm not touching the Pelicans game, even without zion I still think they got a decent shot against sacramento. Ingram can be an alpha whenever he wants and he shoukd show up huge in that game tomorrow.

This is the reason why they beat Boston and Bucks back then even though they seem an underdog with their line-up.

Clutch Jimmy Butler and Adebayo is not enough to do a miracle run like what they did last year since their 3 points shot is their main weapon back then to kill this monster team that is so good on paint.

That's a very tough assignment for the Miami Heat but they have done this before, so this is like a rematch of the last season's play-in. FYI, Miami won that battle and goes up to the Finals, they have an unbelievable run that time, let's see if they can copy that and it should start by beating the Bulls.

Betting spread is now available, Miami is -2.5 at home, while on the other match up, Pelicans is +1.5 at home, that line simply indicates that Zion is out.

I'm on the same page, I always trust the Miami heat, so I thought they could win and was confident after the first half. But the home team aren't going anywhere, they were playing great especially Batum who had an outstanding game on both ends. That 3 point shots of Batum could have hurt the momentum of the Miami Heat, so I'd say he was a good pick up for the team.

Embiid obviously is not 100% yet, but he contributed when it matters most, so as he stay playing for the team, he will get healthier and will eventually back to his old-self.

The Lakers pick was so easy, I didn't even sweat watching the game although it was close at some point. But man, the Warriors vs Kings, that was a big disappoinment and I believe that the Warriors are done, they need to rebuild.

Today I was really looking forward for the win of Heat as they are good to handle Sixers in this game but sadly again fail to do things on right time now as I check scorecard feeling bad with Heat is leading by 12 points at the end of the half-time which is impressive from them and now look like they are going to hold this all for the rest of the game as well.
After the end of the first quarter Heat were leading 22 to 23 and at the end of the second quarter they have 17 to 28 total 39 to 51.

Yeah it's unfortunate because they made a nice run there. I don't think zion will ever be able to avoid injuries. The kid is amazing when he is on the court but at his size it just doesn't seem like it can handle the rigors of playing 82 games plus playoffs every year. Hopefully he will be OK in the play in because I'm rooting for them.

The playoffs are officially kicking off today. Exciting as this is my favorite time of year. Swimming and good basketball every day.

This first game probably isn't the most exciting of the playoffs, but Miami has a history of coming alive in the playoffs so we'll see. Personally, I think the Heat haven't been playing well lately while the Philadelphia 76ers have looked excellent since Embiid's return from injury. So I'm giving them the nod today. I'm staying away from the Hawks vs Bulls series because I think they've both been playing poorly and I have no idea which way that series will go.

Klay Thompson 0 points? What the f***! Did he sell the game? Steph Curry was 5 points in the first half but he came back in the 2nd half until the Kings were putting a gap against them.

LA Lakers on the other hand showed their strength. Damn Lebron James is like not getting old at all. He may be drinking from the fountain of youth. Grin

A bit sad that Zion went out and didn't come back, it could've been a great 3 minutes battle for both monsters.

I think there are bettors who parlayed the Lakers + Warriors... These two were favorites to win but it's a fail on the Warriors.

Curry could not carry the team anymore, it used to be Splash Brothers but his bro wasn't playing his best, or safe to say playing his worst.
yeah, Thompson who is expected to come up big were scoreless, honestly I didn't expect that but I've seen hime on/off in the regular season, it's just too bad the off happened in a do or die game.

I think the Warriors "Die-nasty" is over now.

This is especially unheard of by a player such as him in a game with such gravitas to put it lightly.
