I lost yesterday's parlay by a single point as the Cavs beat the Celtics by 1...  Today I'm going with a little longer odds in hopes to make up for some of the recent catastrophe that is my gambling picks.

I feel good about the Magic and the Thunder.  The Cavs are the only underdog in this parlay, but they've been playing great lately and the Hawks have been playing without ice trae, so maybe the Cavs will get them today.

Washington Wizards - Orlando Magic
Winner (Incl. Overtime)
Orlando Magic

Houston Rockets - Los Angeles Clippers
Winner (Incl. Overtime)
Los Angeles Clippers

Atlanta Hawks - Cleveland Cavaliers
Winner (Incl. Overtime)
Cleveland Cavaliers

Portland Trail Blazers - Oklahoma City Thunder

Charlotte Hornets - Orlando Magic - Orlando Magic (-7.5) - Won! Covered.
New York Knicks - Atlanta Hawks - New York Knicks (-1.5) - Loss! Just when I thought the Hawks would lose again. Damn it.
Toronto Raptors - New Orleans Pelicans - New Orleans Pelicans (-7.5) - Won! Covered. It's a blowout game.
Miami Heat - Detroit Pistons - Miami Heat (-10.5) - Loss! A good fight was shown by the Pistons. But Jimmy Butler was just too much for them. Did not cover the spreads.
Cleveland Cavaliers - Boston Celtics - Boston Celtics (-6.5) - Loss! Wow. The Cavs somehow found a way to win.
Dallas Mavericks - Indiana Pacers - Dallas Mavericks (-2.5) - Loss! 3rd quarter is when Indiana put a gap between them.

8 games later.
Here are my picks.

Washington Wizards - Orlando Magic - Orlando Magic (-5.5)
Philadelphia 76ers - Memphis Grizzlies - Philadelphia 76ers (-3.5)
Atlanta Hawks - Cleveland Cavaliers - Atlanta Hawks (-1.5) - Both are playing back-to-back games but the Cavs may be undermanned today as Mobley and Max Struss might not play. So it will all depend on their bench.
Houston Rockets - Los Angeles Clippers - Los Angeles Clippers (-4.5) - After that loss against the Bucks even if they are Giannis-less, the Clippers will probably force to win this one. I am expecting a high volume of shots so I am also betting for the Over 221.5.
Portland Trail Blazers - Oklahoma City Thunder - Oklahoma City Thunder (-11.5)
Golden State Warriors - Milwaukee Bucks - Golden State Warriors (-3.5)

Good luck everyone!

......no Donovan Mitchell, so it should be easy double digit win.

This kind of expectation hasn't been happening for games like this in this season. We should be more careful with betting against a team that does not have best player as most of the time they'll cover the spread, and if they got lucky they can win the game. Happened many times already, but you are right, that was a total collapse for the Celtics, they have been dominant but that kind of scenario cannot happen again otherwise, it will be exploited.

So now, this championship team that we are seeing still has its weakness, they loss two times already against a team that have miss their best player/s.

Cleveland Cavaliers - Boston Celtics - Boston Celtics (-6.5) Mitchell is out, Struss is out also, and LeVert is questionable. Undermanned.
This is also why I picked the Celtics today as my main bet and the Cavs lost their last game against a Knicks team that is missing their best players.

Now against a team with more firepower like the Celtics, surely it'd be another loss and the Celtics are likely to extend their win streak. Hopefully, they can dominate with a big lead in the first half since they don't always score much in the second half.

Edit: What a throw by the Celtics in the fourth quarter.  Lips sealed

No one really expected it mate, it was a total collapse for the Celtics, no one can hit their shots, Tatum had a good look but it was short, same with KP, very hot in the first half, squared for a 3 and I think it will go in, unfortunately it just bounce back.

On the other hand DWade can't missed, Niang as well known for his outside shooting, contributed with that one big 3 in the corner. Really hard to see this outcome specially for Celtics backers, no Donovan Mitchell, so it should be easy double digit win.

At some point, it looks like a blowout win by the Celtics again; that was supposed to be money, but that huge run by the Cavaliers gave the Celtics another defeat. Just a one-point victory by the Cavaliers, too bad the Celtics were unable to hold their lead. Now we can say that the Celtics are a real playoff threat. I think all the teams that have beaten the Celtics on their home court. No Mitchell, no problem.

Was looking for a match in the NBA to place a bet on today since when I had San Antonio on the +9.5 and under last week.
Seems that most are on the Pelicans playing the Raptors tonight so will back New Orleans since Zion Williamson hasn't been playing so bad lately, and scored over 20+ points in his last game I watched last month.
-7.5 pts for the handicap seems like a alot so might as well take the over as well for my bet.

RJ Barrett 25+ PRA / RJ Barrett 1+ 3pt / I. Quickley 10+ RA @1.80  X

My play revolves around Scottie Barnes' injury and the implications it has for the rest of the team going forward. Quickley will now be responsible for nearly all of the Raptors' playmaking duties. He had 11 assists in the game Barnes went down, followed by another 11-assist performance against the Hornets. Pels give the sixth most assists to opposing point guards this season, and Quickley has covered 10+ RA in 4/L5.

The same goes for Barrett, who must be the guy and lead the team on offense. He's coming off four consecutive 20-point games and is averaging slightly over 30 PRA /L5. The Raptors will also be without B. Brown and J. Poeltl, which should allow Barrett to grab a few extra rebounds here and there.

Here's a couple of picks from me today.  I honestly wouldn't recommend following them because the risk/reward just isn't there, but I felt like I needed to try and get a parlay win after the recent streak of losses.  This is what I came up with to try and break the slump.  Good luck!!

Brooklyn Nets - Memphis Grizzlies - Brooklyn Nets (-10.5) - Loss! No comment! Cheesy
Milwaukee Bucks - Los Angeles Clippers - Milwaukee Bucks (-3.5) - Won! No Giannis, no problem. Damian Lillard did most of the work and then PatBev did his normal thing. Defense!
Minnesota Timberwolves - Portland Trail Blazers - Minnesota Timberwolves (-12.5) - Lost! Did not cover. It seems like they are also exhausted.
Utah Jazz - Washington Wizards - Utah Jazz (-3.5) - Won! This was a fun offensive game.

2/4.

But I got something that got me going.

For the past weeks even before the All-Star, I never really watched a Wizards or a Jazz game because I don't like it. But this game got me to watch them because of my same game multiple props.
1st half, I am almost a winner. I just needed 7 points from Kizma and 3 points for Sexton if I remember it right. And maybe 1 more rebound for Avdija.
I never expected it would be a wild offensive game and the score is the proof of that. I should've added Clarkson in my props because he was damn hot yesterday.

Anyway, 9 games later. Parlay makers, it's your time to shine again.
Here are my picks.

Charlotte Hornets - Orlando Magic - Orlando Magic (-7.5) - Fultz is questionable.
New York Knicks - Atlanta Hawks - New York Knicks (-1.5) - I am done with the Hawks. Every time I bet for them I lose.
Toronto Raptors - New Orleans Pelicans - New Orleans Pelicans (-7.5)
Miami Heat - Detroit Pistons - Miami Heat (-10.5) - They were never undermanned. Bench players are strong.
Cleveland Cavaliers - Boston Celtics - Boston Celtics (-6.5) Mitchell is out, Struss is out also, and LeVert is questionable. Undermanned.
Dallas Mavericks - Indiana Pacers - Dallas Mavericks (-2.5) - Doncic is questionable.

Good luck everyone!

My bets will go against the majority here,
That early bet paid off now that Giannis is out in the Bucks lineup and the odds are leaning to the Clippers(1.80). BOL

The underdog odds on the Lakers make me think it's worth a shot after watching OKC yesterday, throw their comfortable lead against the Suns who didn't have Booker. I like the extra value even though they're more likely to disappoint due to their terrible ATS record.

I never thought that the Lakers would come back and tie up the game in the 1st quarter. Imagine, from being down 13-2 in favor of OKC to tying the score at 25-25 by the end of the 1st quarter. It's like as I remember of the last Lakers vs Clippers game in the 4th quarter, where the Lakers were trailing 77-96 but ended up winning 116-112. LeBron don't need to be consistent with the points he can really help with it comes to rebound & assist. Thanks to Lebron I win this.

I thought that the Clippers are going to steal this one from the Bucks as they don't have Giannis. But Dame caught fire and it has domino effect to Bobby Portis and Pat Beverley while the Bucks don't have any answer to that amazing run. Erases that 15 point lead and build their own.

Anyhow, that's the only bet I put up in tonight's game.

Congrats to those who ride on the Bucks and the Lakers as well. With the Lakers win, they separate themselves from the Warriors and solidify their 9th position and now chasing the Mavs.

It should be that the Los Angeles Clippers win in this game because Giannis Antotekoumpo wasn't with the Bucks but because of Damian Lillard's beast performance it was a great comeback for the Milwaukee Bucks in the 4th quarter of the game, well, it was expected for Lillard playing like this but against a team that has James Harden, Kawhi Leonard, and Paul George.

The Los Angeles Lakers won against the Thunders led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, as it was really a close match, and even if the Los Angeles Lakers had 20 turnovers they still managed to win against the Oklahoma City Thunders that just had 10 turnovers, it was the free throw deficit that once again the Los Angeles Lakers have the Lakers have 18/25 free throws given while the Thunders just have 15/16 but the percentage of success for the Thunders is huge because they only miss 1 Free Throw, but still it was a good bet if you make one for the Los Angeles Lakers.
It was an unfortunate loss for the Clippers. I assumed they had it in the bag after the third quarter and Lillard just had to drop a 40-point performance today.  Tongue

The Lakers are lucky that OKC couldn't convert the chances they've made, they did well to force so many turnovers, but it's not enough after missing too many shots and allowing the Lakers to go on a few small runs. If only they landed more buckets in the second quarter then we might've had a close finish.

My bets will go against the majority here,

But I'm picking LA Clippers here to give Bucks a good game and maybe win and make an upset against the Bucks in their homecourt.

Giannis (left Achilles tendinitis) is reported as questionable in tonight's game, Khris Middleton is out (left ankle sprain). So I will take that risk on LA to win if Giannis will not able to play.
As incredible as it may seem, the same for me!

I believe that if Giannis Antetokounmpo doesn't play, the Clippers chances of winning increase significantly (even though Westbrook won't play because of his hand injury).
Anyway, it will be an interesting and fierce game to watch.

Dallas Mavericks - Philadelphia 76ers - Dallas Mavericks (-7.5) - Loss! Wow! Tobias Harris, I was right that he could go nuts again. 28 points.
Minnesota Timberwolves - Los Angeles Clippers - Los Angeles Clippers ML - Win! Thankfully I took the moneyline only. That was one heck of a battle of defense and bad three-point shooting.  Grin
Boston Celtics - Golden State Warriors - Golden State Warriors (13.5) - Loss! It was an early blowout game. Sad.
Orlando Magic - Detroit Pistons - Orlando Magic (-10.5) - Win!
Toronto Raptors - Charlotte Hornets - Toronto Raptors (-4.5) - Win! Just the exact spreads. Lucky!
Cleveland Cavaliers - New York Knicks - Cleveland Cavaliers (-3.5) - Loss! A bad night for the Cavs. They need Mitchell or LeVert back.
San Antonio Spurs - Indiana Pacers - Indiana Pacers (-4.5) - Loss! Not again. Damn, I have been losing my bets against the Spurs.

3/7. Bad.

6 games later.
Here are my picks.

Brooklyn Nets - Memphis Grizzlies - Brooklyn Nets (-10.5) - No Cam Thomas and Simmons for the Nets but I hope they can cover that spread.
Milwaukee Bucks - Los Angeles Clippers - Milwaukee Bucks (-3.5) - Exhausted Clippers without Westbrook to lead the second team. The Bucks should win this one.
Minnesota Timberwolves - Portland Trail Blazers - Minnesota Timberwolves (-12.5) - I bet they are also exhausted too, but they will let out their frustration here after that defeat against the Clippers.
Utah Jazz - Washington Wizards - Utah Jazz (-3.5) - 3 losing streak for the Jazz. They need this win. Markkanen and Kessler won't be playing but Sexton might dominate this game.

Good luck everyone. Have a great day.

Updated record 25-26 (49%)

Denver ML got it but loss on Miami and Suns. Let's keep moving with new picks for later games.

1-Dallas -8 - Loss
Back at home and came from a blowout loss to the Celtics, I think they'll give that kind of recipe to the undermanned visiting team.

2-Clippers +1 win
Westbrook is out but the big 3 starter is complete. Based on their previous games, wolves have 4 win streak against the Clippers, I guess it's time to break that.

3-OKC -4.5 win
Booker might not play due to injury and they are on a back to back game. I like the well rested OKC here.

4-Cleveland -5.5... loss

Updated record 27-28 (49%)

Clippers +5
Back to back game for the Clippers after a big win in Minny. Now they'll play the well rested Bucks who are in a 5 winning streak.
Bucks might continue the win streak but I'm hoping they'll loss on the spread.

OKC+1
This team is gonna keep rolling, so I'm still riding them.

Jazz -6.5
After losing all the road games, I think they are set to bounce back at home where they are good at. A blowout win is expected here.

I was surprised to see the 76ers beat the Mavericks. Not only covering the massive spread but winning… The Mavs haven’t been playing well suddenly. This would’ve paid off pretty well if you had some faith in the Sixers.
Bettors are probably leaning on the Mavericks as the 76ers have been struggling after they loss Embiid. However, this is quite surprising as they beat the Mavericks, so from now on, I will no more under estimate this team as they had already adjusted not Having Embiid.

For the Mavericks, they need to make a major adjustment as after a good win streak, looks like the opposite is happening now.

I thought the Timberwolves and the Mavericks would be good picks today. The Timberwolves aren’t disappointing so far at least.

They could have forced the game into overtime, but the game plan wasn't solid. Instead, they opted for a 2-point shot with 3 seconds left in the game and ended up losing by 1 point. With two straight losses, they should aim to bounce back next time. It as a low scoring game so looks like a playoff game.
