I love the orange logo... although I can't shake the feeling I've seen it before...
I'd change the typeface of 'New Economy Movement' to something that looks less like handwriting though.

i sold some btc to my friends to invest here, thats no secret. all of them have their own wallet, so i dont think that should be a problem. do u think its ok to buy 2 stakes?

I'd think you only get a dev stake if your logo is actually going to be chosen to be our official logo but that's just a guess.
Also - We have an official twitter account ?
It seems there are 6 stakes for 6 most popular designs afaik.

Cool. Maybe I'll finally get my development stakes back for creating a logo and managing the Twitter.

first of all: congratz man!
this shape is very well thought through & logical.
nor to symmetric neither to asymmetric.
and guys please..
good logos are always an abstraction.
its not possible to grant PERFECT readability (If you work with letters at all) and at the same time have a logo with an incisive shape you actually REMEMBER. right?
In other words you cannot have the cake and eat it.
And imo the Abstraction/Readability-ratio is pretty much as good as it gets. (And ive tried a while myself)
In my Impression most people, including myself, read NEM and not something else.
Once you read "NGI" it of course sticks with you.
But just think of the NXT-logo for example^^
You could read almost anything into it (eg. XXT), and people are still fine.
Because its a good logo, that people REMEMBER.
Logo critic should be balanced and not overlook this context.
Everybody is entitled to their own opinion - and personally I dont like this one. It just doesn't look NEM to me at all and it is quite bland, there is no distinctive look about it either.
There are other designs in the portfolio which deliver those considerations in a much better way for my personal taste.
I wonder how long people can send in proposals before there will be an official poll? Thinking about asking a friend who is a very experienced web designer if she could create a proposal as well.
btw, I saw that there are several bounties for logo design. Will you only give one to the winner of the poll or also to the follow ups? If you look at the proposals posted in this thread you see that some people spent a lot of time on their designs and the refinements. Would just be fair to also hand out some smaller bounties to them too imo.
