SOmeone dumping?

Given the low volume, won't be easy to dump.

Which project do you mean? The only in that direction is slack-irc. No slack-telegram?  Huh

We currently have bots for IRC <-> Slack <-> Telegram. (but they don't always work)  So that anybody typing in anyone should be seen by all.  But that is just the main channel which is nicknamed "red".

There is a tech channel too though that I would like to have Slack <-> Telegram.

The Slack/Telegram/IRC is great for chat but many ideas got lost and people didn't act.  Therefore we have recently made a Trello board for community organization of projects.  That way we can see who can do what.

Telegram" has a Trello bot integrated called "Integram" that is nice in that it keeps us updated on stuff going on in Trello, but it is actually a little bit annoying and spams Telegram too much.  It needs to be tweaked to only say the important things.

Slack has been integrated with Trello properly so it only gives the updates that are needed.

Slack also has notifications coming in for Twitter, Facebook, and the forum and could easily add more, but these need to be tweaked a bit.  I might even be able to do that myself though, but might be better for somebody else.

Slack has a tip bot which is awesome because it also serves as a little mobile hot wallet.  I sometimes use it for tipping on the go to people both on Slack and off Slack as it can send and receive to any address actually, but it makes tipping to people on slack easy because you need to only know their name, not their address.

Not sure if we could have that on Telegram or not, but it would be nice.  (I actually kind of doubt it though because Telegram isn't as advanced as Slack in that way)

All around we have these bots that kind of work a lot of the time, but often are going down or are buggy.  I would like to really seamlessly integrate the platforms.
Thanks for all the explanations. What I wanted to know is, which project at the NEM github is the one which integrates telegram?
I guess, however, it wouldn't make much sense so sync every telegram post to slack and/or irc as there is too much noise imho.

Slack vs. Telegram has almost turned into a regligious question.
I'm an advocat of slack because they don't ask for a phone-number and it's easy to integrate a ton of stuff (like the tipping bot that is already running there).

Yes, we need somebody, anybody, to work on our bots.  They are up and down.  The codes for the bots can be found on our github.

If nobody's on it yet, I'll give it a look, maybe I can do something  Smiley

if you're so eager to code

Actually I messed up last year at university, wasn't really involved, but this time I want to rock Cool

Nice work !
Are you on telegram or slack already ? If not you should really join.

Never used both but I will join for sure !
Better slack or telegram ?

I'm going for a little break and I'll get back to the faucet in some hours, once it's done I really want to work on XEMsign, it would be great to secure funds like, Dice funds Smiley

btw. if you're so eager to code. The bots that are connecting telegram and slack could really use some work and I think they are written in js Smiley

Good Smiley

It also just occured to me that you should probably use a captcha and maybe we should block people indefinitely after 2 or 3 drips. I man a faucet is for people to check out NEM not to have a constant flow of XEM.

Did the captcha also Smiley (I just need to change for Recaptcha).
For blocking, if you want it, I can do it. The faucet core is ready and XEMbot can initiate batch multisignatures requests every x minutes for addresses meeting requirement. I can add a new counter for every claims from an address and block at n claims.
Still the design to do, some little tests and it's good Smiley

I suggest you use this https://github.com/Valve/fingerprintjs2 for the fingerprinting.
It's a new release of what we adapted for the claiming portal (adapted to make it harder to change ones fingerprint).

It is exactly what I used  Grin

I can tell you are working hard!

It's really basic code and I'm having a lot of fun playing with the APIs Smiley

Faucet is almost done, just need BrowserFingerPrinting, claiming parameters (chosen by the community) and some tests.
Then you can review it and deploy it where you want Wink

This exchange project is a private concern and intends to make money from the community.
So this 50 million xem is a loan? Or is it a gift? It is about 6000 euro

It is not a gift or a loan.  It is a fund set up as a stimulus for the NEM ecosystem (XEM released at milestones).  So basically it is paying people to build on the NEM system. The community votes and decides which projects to help kickstart that will then in return help the NEM ecosystem with the business they bring.
