can anyone give me a hint please:

I have java7 on my ubuntu, and NXT uses that of course:

myuser@mybox:~$ java -version
java version "1.7.0_65"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea 2.5.2) (7u65-2.5.2-3~14.04)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.65-b04, mixed mode)

Now to get my NEMstake, I need to somehow enable java8.

My question: How is it possible to get java7 and java8 to coexist? It should be possible- it is possible with python,

but I'd appreciate a few hints on how to do it and how to NOT do it in order not to wreck my system!

Thanks!

Hi all, have 1 question to devs: why encrypted messages can be viewed in main and transaction pages? I think this in not right, they must be hidden, like in NXT. Right?

You can see them. Others won't be able to see them.
It is obvious. I mean that others can see them, then i open my wallet. All they need is to look on my laptop display))

P.S. I send email to you, github problem.

Does anyone have insight on the person (whale) holding 225 Nemstakes on NxtAE?

Not a whale, that is a issuer of NEMStake tokens, or tokens that were never redeemed.

Thanks.  That's what I thought, just wanted to make sure.

Well it's been a long time since I last posted here. I missed all this! The beta is looking really amazing!

Still think a chat box in the NCC would be a laugh. Wink

Good to see you here TauMuon.  Smiley

Getting the message: An encrypted message cannot be sent because the recipient has never made a transaction before.

The recipient of an encrypted message must have sent at least one transaction before he can receive such a message.

Great job! Some Test-NEM would be nice: T........

Is it possible to change the default directory (C:\Users\*Name*\nem). Need my data in another directory!

That is only possible if you run the standalone version.

I use the nis-ncc-0.4.9.tgz version. What do I have to change to use another directory?

Go to config.properties for either ncc, nis, or both and change nem.folder

for example, mine goes to a mapped cifs share to my nas, and looks like:
nem.folder = L:\\Library\\Crypto\\NEM\\Wallet\\Data\\nem

Thanks, I will do so !

Getting the message "The time stamp of the transaction is too far in the future." When trying to send transaction. my system time is correct and I have tried changing the due time to 1 hour. Anyone else get this?

I will look into this issue. How much did your system time differ from real time? more than 20 seconds?

It seems to be on time to me. I am on pacific time. I went to date and time > 'internet time' tab > re- syncronized with time server and same issue. Also tried time.nist.gov time server. However, I am receiving Nem just fine.
