Do u really think so? IMO counterparty logo and website look way too similar than all the other alts, nothing special and nor anyway as much as recognizable than those in our voting.

It is less like a coin and more like a symbol one might see for a company or on the good of a car.

It would have good recognition and could be easily adapted with different colors for different purposes.

newest logo is OK, but reason I like cube is feeling of confidence it inspires. Cubic structure is naturally very solid and stable, it is hard to break or deform. I think subconscious perception is very important much more than story behind logo. In future only us will know about original tomoe concept and ideology, not average users.

So cube says, power, trust, stability, new thing is a bit amoebic. (like that small animal that changes its form)

There's just another idea and I know I'll maybe not find many friends with that one.
But every stakeholder should have the responsibility to pay another 10k units in an extra extra bank for the future marketing.
This will be the most important instrument and we haven't payed much for our stakes at all.
With 3k people, each spending just 10k untits, the Nem marketing bank would have another 30mio. coins, which I think would be ok for the beginning.
The benefit from it in %, calculated with ~ 1mio. units, would be much greater than this 10k bucks for each person.
Together with Nem early this year, this 10k would be the 2nd chance of an good investment for the stakeholders.
This should be another thing we have to vote about.
The markets are so flat, the price would regulate itself alone, just because the people don't have the feeling to own 1 000 000 Nem (sooooo much Shocked

), but "just" this 990 000.
It will be much harder for them to sell, I'm pretty sure.

The voting will be held on the NEM Forum in an effort to migrate some of the NEM discussion on our official forum. It will start in about 17 hours and will last for one week.

Personally, my vote will go to #1, looks neat and profesional. I am not worried about the similarities with Qark/Ripple. I do not think the are so similar.

How do you want to handle the votation? Any person with a BTT account will be able to vote or only stakeholders?

What I really love in the fan logo, is that grey for balance & professionalism.
But what I wouldn't see, is the green just for finance and development. It also (and may even more) shows the ecological aspect, Nem stands for

Personally it seems to me the new Fan Logo fits best with NEM. I like both the form and the color theme. It seems elegant and well designed.

As some of you suggested, it has some similarities with the quark logo, but the quark logo has different design, one outer ring, one inner-center ring, and not so impressing color theme.

On the other hand our Fan Logo seems quite well personalized and adjusted. In the end they don't look alike. One makes a quite compelling first impression while the other one, not at all.

Further more, I think the following two images convey our message pretty well: NEM Rocks. Cool

Anyway, our community will be able to express preferences shortly. It will be interesting to see how the voting goes.
