OK I ran it overnight on MPH and it looks like I made maybe $US0.50.
If I were mining ZEC during the same period I would have made $2-$3
I have always had a problem with algo switching - it switches based on what is profitable NOW, so you mine until you have some of that coin but by then the market has all changed again. I guess this is much more suited to someone who has 100s or 1000s of GPUs so that can get instant results. I have only 4 Nvidia GPUs and 6 AMD GPUs so I have to mine what is generally going to give me a reliable price tomorrow, not the best price right now.
Thank you though - it was fun to see how something like this works and I think it's cool that you give this to the community for free.
Good luck to you!
keep checking your balance at MPH i bet you earn't a lot more than 0.50c it will still be coming in.. its takes a while to start coming in as it has to be confirmed, sent to exchange, exchanged, then sent back to you i have been testing both 1.7.1-MPH and 1.7.1-ZPOOL for the last few weeks both has 4x1070's running at 120watts (Total Power from wall(575watt) running and they seem pretty consistent, im pulling in on average 0.016 to 0.019 btc from each rig everyday (note it takes almost 24hours for full income to start coming in so yes if you try this for a short 24 hour or less burst don't expect instant results..

Nemo
P.S in Regards to the 20% income stealing from ZPOOL that a lot of people have been commenting on in this thread... my 1.7.1-ZPOOL is bringing in more btc everyday compared to 1.7.1-MPH at the moment has been for the last few weeks.. just wanted to test for myself before i commented on it so if ZPOOL is taking 20% MPH must be taking more : ) as far as i can tell the fee's are exactly as they state on the Pools Website 2% for Zpool 0.9%for MPH but as Zpool has alot more algos and coins atm it seems to make more at the moment MPH has its perks to such as much better zcash pool and the etherem algo support is good to..
OK now I am more interested... I think I will try your zpool miner for a few days and see how it goes.
I have a rig which is 2 x 1070s and 2 x 1060 6gb. You say you set your 1070s at 120W which is what - a powerlimit in MSI afterburner of about 75% right? Where would you set 1060s? I would guess at about 85%?
edit: I just noticed equihash at the top of zpool's list so why don't you include EWBF in the zpool list?
How does it decide to "check" and change algorithms? Should I stop it every 8 hours and see or will it swap over automatically somehow?
