Hi all,

Seems on 2.4.1 anything that I enter below 240 interval always shows as 240 when it's launched...Thoughts?

I was using pool current estimate, due to the frequent splits. This results in a lot of algo changes, but I only update every 15 min.
I'm done with zergpool for now, maybe others had more luck. Because when it was up, profit was about +40%, at least until the orphans reduced profit of 20 hours to 0.

You just dodged a bullet, then, because Zergpool got hacked yesterday and the BTC owed to miners was stolen.

As crazy as this may sound, I am going to give the poor guy another chance because he's just learned some very valuable lessons (hard forks and hacks) and it's best to get that learning done when the pool is small... Not when you get to be, say, the size of NiceHash...  Grin

The last 36 hours have been pretty trouble free though?
I'm mining on the Neoscrypt port only, as they have a lot of coins enabled (22 vs Ahash's 9) and profit's been mostly in Neoscrypt lately. I've made more with my 5x1080 rig than my friend's 6x1080 rig on Nemosminer 24h Ahashpool switcher.

when will be compared reports vs zergpool)?
zergpool: 0.00247307 BTC
ahashpool: 0.00628855 BTC
This includes mutiple chain splits on both pools, ahashpool reacted quite fast (not fast enough, but more than 10x faster than zergpool). This plus the recent hack of zergpool, the coming .5% fee on it despite late chain split detection and a lot of down times, this does not look good for zergpool in any regard.
Are you using pool estimates or 24h averages for either pool?
Anyhoo, keep testing. Ideally try to plot a chart along the way so we can see the development over time.

Just wanted to say what a shitty day it is for all crypto. December and most of January were incredible - now garbage. Sometimes it's chicken, sometimes it feathers.

When will the gpus prices come back to regular levels?

I know a Vega 56 isn't suppose to be $900 used....
If/when mining becomes technically unprofitable, i.e. you don't cover electricity costs anymore, give it a month and you'll start seeing the eBay tsunami. I doubt we'll actually get that far. I'd rather see mining farms banned in China, now that would be positive! Cheesy

How did You solved the problem with GPU driver crashing when NemosMiner shuts down miner app?
Is the solution maybe to make one dummy Afterburner profile (e.g profile5) that is CoreClock 0, MemoryClock -502, PowerLimit 70 and to load that profile 30 seconds before miner shuts down?
I don't know... All these miner/algo/pool changing apps are cool (Nemosminer, Megaminer, AwesomeMiner) but they are absolutely useless for me if the driver crashes and the rig is not mining until manual restart.
Rig restart function would be also good for this problem. (e.g I have 4 cards in rig, mining app detects only 3 then reboot).

Thank's and excuse me if there was any discussion on this topic.

Nothing to solve, the software does not crash when nemos switches miner. You are stating it happens with other software too. Did you look in other direction like overclocking, faulty riser(s) or issue with motherboard, fresh install of windows etc.

Reading the thread got me inspired to do some side-by-side testing of different mutliswitch miners and pool combinations to have some real data on the earnings.
My rig currently is a modest 2x1070, but this at least should allow to test some multiswitch miners  in exactly the same conditions by runninng them on their own GPU's at the same time.
My idea was to test the following combinations - NiceHash Legacy, MPH+Nemos, Zpool+Nemos, ZergPool+Nemos and maybe later on Ahashpool+Nemos(their min payout is much higher, so will require more time to test). The idea would be to start testing with NH Legacy vs MPH+Nemos 2.4(version 2.4.1 gives me some issues, just 3 miners show up)
I hope that if we have some data points like this posted online we would be able to validate hunches on what pool+miner+hardware works best.

Im new to multiswitch mining so any input would be appreciated!

How do i deactivate Palgin HSR for Neoscrypt?

Delete (or rename) "PalginHSR.ps1" from "Miners" folder.

Put # symbol before 'neoscrypt" = " -d $SelGPUCC" #NeoScrypt in palginhsr.ps1 file which can be found in miners folder on line 23.

And remove # symbol from miner file which you want to use for mining neoscrypt.

thanks both!!!

what's new in 2.4.2?

Seeing support for zergpool is added now so thats nice. Have been testing it last few days would not advice using it yet. All though profit seems better then ahashpool. I find earnings are not constant. Probably because there are not enough users yet. When checking I found that sometimes I'm the only one mining specific algo. Only algo that have enough users mining constant seems to be Neoscrypt. Will see how just mining Neoscrypt will go on Zergpool. Also there were some other small issues with pool, pool is relatively new and still has to mature.

By end of this week I will probably move back to ahashpool. In theory profits not as good as with Zergpool but far more reliable at this moment.
same observations here

tried zergpool this week with nemosminer and sniffdog (1 on each rig)
profit could be better than ahash, but zergpool has some issues
Few days ago the pool wasn't available during night
and last night and autotrade was disable because an exchange didn't worked

on graph you can see bumps when autotrade is enable again
