Btw I've been parallel testing my 5x1080 rig against two buddies and their 6x1080 rigs.

One's on Nicehash
One's on Nemosminer-Ahashpool
I'm on Zergpool, Neoscrypt port only

Nicehash guy after 4.5 days: 0.0083 BTC (a couple of hours downtime due to miner crashes)
Nemosminer guy: 0.0063 BTC (approx 12 hours downtime - various reasons, probably not Nemosminer related)
me: 0.006 BTC (more downtime than both above - and mined wrong fork on a shitcoin for the best part of a night - and I only have 5 GPUs, remember)

On that basis I think I did pretty well, and would -probably- have the highest profitability IF I managed to have a stable mining experience.

I will report as I go along, but I think a Nemosminer-Zergpool hybid could yield good results.

I was also testing Zergpool last week doing Neoscrypt and converting to BTC. At first the results were far better than anyone else, then 40% of my /confirmed/ BTC balance was taken back because of that same shitcoin fork (I guess my single GTX 1080 ended up mining that one for a greater percentage of time than you).

I will likely give Zergpool a second chance because the operator - who goes by pinpins here - seems like a decent enough guy, just in a bit over his head, and not charging a pool usage fee makes it difficult to cover the costs when your pool continues to mine a coin well after it hard forks.

I'm waiting for zergpool into nemosminer.
I saw nemo created zerpool.ps in Pools folder. I think he's working on that

I'm surprised to see how good Nicehash is...

I don't know if somebody tried a comparison between ahash and zergpool ?

I have 12 x GTX 1080 Ti on 2 rigs
In January I did arround 0,0055 and 0,007 BTC per day on ahashpool with nemosminer

I saw the shitstorm about pools in the GTX 1080 Ti thread and here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/yiimp-pools-zpoolahashpoolhashrefinery-making-large-payments-to-non-miners-2835350

Yesterday I did a test and switched a rig on zerg pool
The afternoon (6h test), I did 25% more on zerg pool

This night (10h test), I did 42% more on zerg pool

It's a pretty big difference in my opinion, anybody else tried this ?

I've been mining on Zergpool the last week (but on their Neoscrypt port only). I'm not sure why but my rig kept going down at night. So while it might do well, if it causes my rig to time out and not reconnect, I'm losing a lot of hashrate. And I haven't checked whether HSRminer allows me to set up backup pools...

How do you setup a new pool on Nemosminer (I know, it's certainly been said previously, I'm just being lazy - and I'm short of time - but if anyone cares to answer I'll be thankful Tongue )?

I started a concurrent test with 2 times 3x GTX 1080 ti last night, but just found out that total unpaid did not increased for zergpool for more then 8 hours now. Some more research found it was related with Bulwark chain split....

Single coin > multi pools > NH.
You have to perform daily check and trade to take advantage of single coin mining in my opinion. And these shit coins are on exotics exchanges... fees to transfer to your EUR(or USD)/BTC exchange...

i'm multi pool 100% Shocked
less time
less fees

It's probably gonna be the same when zerg gets flooded. Ahash was the most paying pool when it was at 1-1.5k miners. Then, at 3-5k miners, it was almost on par with other pools. Now it's even slightly less than nicehash. But NH abuses hardware much more. Go figure.  Smiley

Single coin > multi pools > NH. It was like that for ages. If you have hashrate ofc. But you need to be lucky with coin selection (most amount of work and research as well), careful with pool selection (different returns) and totally lazy if you select NH (works like AK47 since reincarnation, question is - for how long).

Anyway, atm I like ahash most.

Take a look on what ahashpool recommends in relation to 24 hour actuals in profit switching script:
Announcement: [2018-02-04 22:49 UTC] Please do not use 24 hour actuals in your profit switching script. When chain split happens, the pool will disable coins, or even disable the entire algo, and if you are using the past 24 hours actuals algo profit ranking to pick algo, you will be wasting your hash power. Bul wark just had a chain split, we disabled Bulwark but there are still 700+ miners on Nist5 after an hour, this tells us at least 700 rigs are doing it wrong. You should only use current estimates in determining your algo. And if you don't want it to switch too often, just increase the interval time. Do NOT use 24 hours actuals.

Zergpool is looking pretty good already. I love how it's stratum difficulty isn't set high like ahashpool, getting shares in quickly is very important when switching. Can't beat 0% fees either !

zergpool.com?
It has a decent setup but it doesn't look like it's profitable at all right now.  There's no one on it.  It's half a step above solo mining.

It's almost brand new, has 633 miners atm. I use it in combination between ahashpool and miningpool hub with nemosminer and find that it switches to it more frequently than expected. Just my experience - feel free to solo mine Smiley

I did Ahash last 12 hours, earnings were not good enough for me. At first sight Zerg was not better.
So, what is good enough for you?
At least 16 eur a day for my 1080ti, 2x 1080 and my 1070.
Nemosminer? Which pool?

Yeah Ahash would do that... When BTC was up. Not anymore now.

Have created 2 extra nemos folders, the original folder ill keep for mining with 6 gpus. For the new folders: in 1 of them I copied the zergpool pool and bat file from sniffdog miner. Made few modifications and it worked. Now running 2 instances at the same time. 3x GTX 1080 ti on ahashpool.bat and 3x GTX 1080 ti on zergpool.bat. Currently benchmarking following algo's: hsr, skein, x17, Nist5, Lyra2RE2, neoscrypt, blake2s, bitcore, xevan, tribus, c11. Once done lets see which pool gives better earnings.

Thanks for testing! Smiley

No because to pool was offline for 8 hours last night so it didnt run for 24 hours straight yet. But earnings looks to be better then ahashpool because it generated more in shorter time. Cant deny i'm having good feelings about it! But to early to make any conclusions yet Smiley

Useless comparison because its not done concurrently.  Last 24 hours has been great on ahashpool because crypto stopped falling

Good to hear that ahashpool earnings are better again. I know comparison is useless, just wanted to share my experience. Once there is nemos support for zergpool I'll do concurrent testing.

Just copy the zergpool file from sniff pools directory to the Nemos pools directory?
