Why dont you check out Neon wallet if you dont like Neo Core one. There is a link a few posts up and you can find tons of reviews online and on YT.

Today i tried to claim my GAS as usual and the ContractTransaction seems stuck on unconfirmed for over 2 hrs despite the wallet being fully synchronised ,secondly when i click on the Transaction ID it gives a error .
I tried to claim GAS again but the Asset dropbox seems to be blank .
I can see my NEOs and GAS in the wallet .
Help will be appreciated .

This happens quite often with me using the neo-gui wallet.
It gets "stuck" for long periods; sometimes closing and opening the wallet a few times seems to un-stick it.
I think we are in need of a new and better desktop wallet, I've not yet tried the NEON wallet as I'm a bit unsure as to how stable it is.
So sick... 1.5 billion market cap and no decent wallet...

I succeed to correct this problem by quitting Neo wallet. Then, i open Neo wallet's and let it synchronized. If it stopped synchronized before the last block, exit the wallet and relaunch it.
I then opened my wallet with in 'repair mode'. But before doing this, it is important to write
the informations about your wallet (private key, wif and do a backup in case).
After opening the wallet in 'repair mode', the wallet will contain 0 Neo and 0 GAS.
But the NEO and gas are still on the blockchain. You can check it if you double-click on the wallet address.
Then, i try 'Rebuild index'. And after some more synchronized blocks, the wallet will display the good amount of NEO and GAS. And the transaction which stuck the wallet will not be shown at the transaction history. I think you need to wait that the wallet get synchronized before sending a transaction to claim the GAS. There should not be a 0 amount of GAS for the claim.
After that, you will be able to send a new transaction to claim your GAS.
It succeed for me after thoses manipulations... It is a bug of the wallet i think.

Someone PLEASE help me out with this. Been posting everywhere but the NEO community doesn't seem to give 2 shits about new investors. VERY bad for the future price. Hell the slack invite in the OP doesn't even work!
I downloaded the (SUPER buggy) NEO wallet. Took 2 days to fully sync. After syncing completely, searched my address on neotracker.io, doesn't exist. Is this normal? Am I safe to send my NEO from bittrex to my wallet?
And the neo web wallet... Once you've created/imported a wallet, you can't 'log out', change wallet, create new wallets. What the heck?

wallet is taking forever to sync been trying to sync since yesterday literally had to restart a dozen times cause the sync keeps stopping and wont work again til i restart the wallet.
hmm for me with win 10 the new neo-gui wallet synced fine after some hours.
If you are using norton, does it block the neo-gui wallet download and label it as harmful. its doing that with me, is it safe?

Same concern here. It would be cool to see someone creates another wallet that will work well. I have been trying to sync mine for a couple of days already. My NEOs are less than 500 but I'd like to store them on safer wallet than on the bittrex. The project is really promising and the Chinese already recognize their own assets.

It took me ~3 hours to sync using this bootstrap. Im using the old antshares wallet.

No they aren't. The trading changed from ANS to NEO.
Perhaps you mistook ANT (Aragon coin) for ANS (Antshares)?
