I think you should choose ETH because this is the second most valuable currency after bitcoin. If you want to invest long term, this is a good choice. It is predicted that the ETH could emulate the current bitcoin copper. This is a potential co. Be decent and decisive

IMO NEO will be one of best cryptocurrencies. If China makes ico legal again it will rise a lot. Gas also increases then
Neo is Chinese version of ETH. China government will support this cryptocurrency for sure. Also now a days we are facing lot of congestions in ETH network. It could affect to the growth of NEO positively. Basically most of NEO based Tokens has good future ahead.

I think NEO is on the same tier with ETH, they both next to bitcoin. Looking at the prices it might be a lot of difference but in terms of growth they almost identical. They say that ETH's team is better than NEO but for me i think NEO's team might have an edge because they can easily upgrade what ETH has been done since they are the first one to launch. In this generation copying someone's thought and making it better is common.
ETH is stronger, for sure
NEO could still survive the severe competition of smart contract platforms. However, I don't think NEO can beat ETH. The reason is:
1. ETH's team is better than NEO's team. ETH's team is more talented, experienced, and professional than NEO's team.
2. ETH got the first mover advantage.

Many crypto enthusiasts are recommending to have more focus on NEO based projects this year for some reason, many of them say because it's the chinese influence , with a market that much BIG, there is a huge potential with NEO ,Also they have impressive amount of investors too. Every ups and downs of any cryptocurrencies is because of their competitions. It is possible that the lowest price altcoin wilk beat one of the altcoin that has the higher price. NEO can be on Eth's place someday and Eth can be on NEO's place.
Well, time will tell, but Neo has a better offer for a ICO with transfer fee and it have a niche in Asian market especially China itself. But II don't think the price will be the same as etherium today.
Neo is one of a good coin to invest today but Ill still prefer the ethereum. Ethereum is most used by many and its platform has more users as smart contract. I see it looks like NEO has started to increase its price and I believe someday NEO will follow ETH, so I choose NEO.
Both coins are good and have working product. Many top 10 coins still dont have working product.
I prefer ethereum because I believe ethereum is better for investment may neo be second choice for me, ethreum is coin fovorit for me
Ethereum has already shot up to over $1000 so future growth will be slow, whereas NEO just went over $100 meaning the potential speed of growth will be much greater. I would invest in both but with a stronger weighting towards NEO
I agree. I am not saying that NEO is not as good as Eth, but I am basing my answer due to the fact that Eth has shown great resiliency over the past several years it has been around, even during the dark times when every currency is dwindling, it has able to hold its ground and prosper. I also think that there are more people supporting Eth than NEO which is a good sign that it could keep growing and growing, especially now, that it has been creating a lot of buzz, it would surely rise up more than where it is.

Not only NEO went up drastically, There's cardano, stellar, RIPPLE, TRON. My point is, not because the coin got a drastic rise in price means it could already be the second from bitcoin. it takes huge amount of acceptability generally for the coin to really go up there in competition with ETH and ripple.
NEO is a chinese coin, centralized (I think) with 100 mil coin total. The DEV team keep 50 mil (50%). That such!!
Both have their qualities and both have their defects to be corrected.

Both cryptocurrencies are good, but I would have traditionally preferred ETH. Recently, these coins have proved themselves very well as always by the way. I like them very much. But Ethereum is best altcoin.
it depends what chinese government will do with NEO, they can ban it

neo is in association with OnChain. which is associated by govt. Neo is developing with governance, with regulation and so if need be.
basically Chinese govt are backing it.. why will they ban it. Instead they would ban bitcoin and other coins so that neo goes up and people use it the most.. atleast that seems like the game plan to me
