Yes, NEO like the Chinese version of Ethereum, it always compared against Ethereum because both have same feature. But, honestly, I like the Ethereum technology, because I don't know the best feature of NEO, can anyone give me the feature of NEO better than Ethereum?

NEO and ETH can be the currency but ETH has more advantage as reason of early dive it owns the market and popular on ICO.
So NEO will be a weak competitor against ETH

Such coins with similar technologies are not enough. Competition is also good. To this list can be attributed THE, New, Waves, EOS, ELF. Simply Eth is the most untwisted and popular platform for ICO. But the rest of them have more advanced technologies.

Neo drastically improve its price because people see its potential. Yes, banning this in china might affect the price, but as we can see this is just temporary,. So it will be a good one for those who are holding coins for long term. It will result a good profit too, because as we all know holding neo in our own wallet gives us a reward in the form of gas which we can buy and sell separately. Also nei has no network congestion. so to sum it up neo might be a good competitor for eth.

I think you are right about NEO's possible future, but Ethereum is also good long-term investment. NEO will slow down Ethereum a little bit, but will not replace it.

Neo will probably never pass the ethereum. They both have very good and bright future but neo will always follow the ethereum from 1 year behind. I don't know if it's a right call but i call neo ethereum of chinese. Tho it is always a good idea to keep both of them in your wallet.

I'm not studying neo right now. because I prefer to ethereum, I think more versatile eth is used in every trade or investment. so i just opted for ethereum

More and more ICO are launching on NEO nowadays especially for companies that want to be able to do their business in China. Chinese companies will want to do business with companies in China and NEO is recognized as a Chinese product.

I would say that NEO will eventually hit at least half of ETH value.. I would dare say $1000 for NEO would not be a problem.

Hold both ETH and NEO!
