Dapps for what? First dapps runs in ethereum platform. And that was the first dapps and i think you are spreading FUD against ethereum. If you don't know what is dapps and you can try to read more about that. It's not like ico that runs in the NEO platform and that's really different. The scalability can be fixed anytime through hardfork. I think that an investment in neo is a better option. Nothing happens with the ripple. Neo, according to me, has very good development prospects.
Comparing neo and ripple, I would choose neo. I think ripple got to its ATH at $3 and after that, the coin has been quiet. Neo is yet to make a big movement but has been sustainable.

You shouldn't even have hesitated on this matter. Ripple network's XRP is a centralized and controlled coin which will have stabilized price whereas NEO decentralized blockchain is already a good platform and with it NEO coin has a good market value and will probably the price of it go beyond $200 in near future.

If you can buy at the dip and i think that neo will become a good choice for you caused by the fact that neo is more volatile compared with ripple. I was surprised seeing people choosed NEO. Nope, I don't like Ripple, don't get me wrong but in the nearest past the Ripple was a favorite coin for most of forum members.
both are good choices, but I think you'd better try on a cheaper altcoin.
because, cheaper altcoin is more potentially big for profit. different if you invest in neo or ripple with a small amount of capital. certainly quite difficult to get big profits.

I'll choose NEO for invest but for long term period, not medium. Neo have good track history than Ripple, you can see from the price and volume, even not significant but have variation moving make market look's life and create some opportunity to make money. NEO is new hope, try it and get the profit.

Don't even think about it for a second. NEO is always more reliable and stronger than Ripple. According to my opinion, you should definitely buy NEO.
