Maybe it is because of the other platforms for ico coming into light .But to be fair to the team I think Neo will start doing good when China removes the blockchain ban.
Currently most of the coins fall not only NEO is the only coin fall, but I think this is very normal, because the market is always fluctuating Crypto, may NEO prices rise and fall often.
There are a lot of ICOs involved in Neo, but why is it still dropping?
It's not about NEO dear, the price of BTC along with all altcoin is on decline and NEO is just another altcoin. Price of NEO is very attractive, it went to 150 US dollars high in Jan this year and is now at 38. Maybe a good time to accumulate this gem.
I don't hold any NEO but now that you put it like this, I got to agree that it sounds absolutely like a good buy, for purely speculative purposes that is. I thought ETH at $500 and BTC at $6500 and Litecoin at $95 were super value but $38 from $150 is even more incredible. Then again, are we really going to believe NEO will climb back up to ATH levels? All the same, hard to ignore this type of floor price.
Have you ever wonder too why ETHEREUM continuously falls until today? It's fact that ethereum is much popular and almost majority of ICOs today are using the smart contract of ethereum blockchain. Well, that's how cryptocurrency works and since its market value is volatile, expect it to fall down anytime unexpectedly.
neo is also efforted of this year bloodbath season neo saw biggest downfall in the coin history but neo having all the developments in hand neo will be next ether kind of growth this year may touch 500 dollars

It's not about NEO dear, the price of BTC along with all altcoin is on decline and NEO is just another altcoin. Price of NEO is very attractive, it went to 150 US dollars high in Jan this year and is now at 38. Maybe a good time to accumulate this gem.
All altcoins are in the red. Neo is not an exception. By the way, Charlie Lee has found several drawbacks in Neo project, I think it also influenced the price decrease
A lot of people say that alts need to move away from btc but the fact remains that it is still king. No alt however good it may be can go up when btc is going down.
Not to mention that current market sentiment is horrible with many people making calls for 2k-4k btc. Might be wrong but let me be clear if btc drops to 2k you will find ether trading at sub 100$ neo at sub 10$ and so on.
The best bet in this type of a scenario is to hold on to good alts you strongly believe in. If you hold neo because you are confident about its longterm future than even a 80% drop from here should not scare you off.( unless of course you have bought it on credit/or put in to much of your savings)

I have to say some of the comments and articles linked on this thread are downright ridiculous. It makes extremely little difference whether some Korean exchange has decided to distribute Gas or not
Having said that, most miners would be out of business if for example ETH dropped to 100 USD, so these expectations are also not realistic, if BTC keeps falling, at some point top promising altcoins will almost certainly diverge from the direction of BTC.
I think the falling down of the market now because the effection of BTC's price. The investors are not patient enough to hold tokens. They look the falling down of BTC and they sell in panic their coins.
Because today is the downtrend, so the price also goes down. all crypto currencies are currently priced down. including NEO. and this is an opportunity to buy NEO and other coins. to hold and long term investment in the future.

The price of neo is falling because all other coin in crypto are falling even the best coin in crypto are also falling but this is only for a temporary period. As soon as the market recovers which I think should happen soon, the price will rise again.
I like Neo very much and I have investment there, market is so bad and Neo is falling because of this. When market turn back and bull season stars, then Neo will increase well again.

I believe due to market sentiment,once btc recover then neo will pickup
whole crypto market currently seems going down, but there is not any specific reason.
Just don't forget the value of last years, really low related to nowadays. I guess most of top 10 crypto will continue this slow decline for 2018.
