Verge [XVG], the cryptocurrency with an undying spirit! – Sentiment Analysis – April 9

The short-term picture for some of the coins looks green as they are recovering from the fall, albeit, by small amounts. The cryptocurrencies are yet to recover from the loss taking into consideration the statistics of the last 24 hours. Today’s market is characterized by high volatility and price movements with a downside momentum. Bitcoin and TRON dipped hard by 4.44% and 7.31% respectively in the last 24 hours. While Bitcoin’s price continues to fall, TRON and the others are gaining some momentum.

After conducting an in-depth discussion with a panel of experts and based on the interviews with a group of investors, miners, journalists, skeptics, and influencers, we have carefully structured this segment called the sentiment analysis. From the numerous pieces of advice and opinions offered by the experts, we have selected a few and have quoted here in this segment. These include sentiments from people across the globe and the present market trends. This analysis is on the cryptocurrency Verge which is at the 20th spot in the rankings.

This is getting out of hand

Verge Devs using this as a PR Stunt, promoting this article:

https://medium.com/vergecurrency/verge-currency-solves-blockchain-vulnerability-in-record-time-556db1aaee53

Article is linked in this subreddit and the comments are hilarious, they are already talking about taking loans.

guys.

I can smell an epic scandal in the making.

This will not end well and might possibly bring a lot of negative sentiment towards crypto.

but at the same time I can't stop watching cause quite frankly when this blows up, it's going one hell of a fireworks show.

No scandal, They are going to make partnership with an off the grid bank in Germany which nobody has ever seen or heard or doesn't even exist on paper. Bribe money was openly collected via begging to community hence it's totally legit rumor.

VERGE dev's are so good on writing code that if they had chosen to continue with the first fork (see patch a3dd53f40aaedd28bd4d0fc720f034492f7ded81), the coin was now 'history'.

this lines of code prove what I'm saying:

Code:
     if (GetBlockTime() < pindexPrev->GetBlockTime())
            return error("AcceptBlock() : block's timestamp is too early");

but wait, this is not over .. VERGE dev's are so arrogant that, they not even say thanks to @JonDoe01

Well, if you were a dev and you had an article like that.
Would you not use it as a PR stunt?  Cheesy
The article makes the hack sounds good, it is good PR.
Shouldn't be, but it is.

Also, you made an account just to write that :O

They just need the scam going till 17th April lol

This is my real account little bitch, what's a real bitcointalk account anyways? Lol dummy. Last time I checked this isn't facebook. You're probably just an angry monero kid LOL

Your T_D-like tactics and language make you sound either thirteen years old or totally delusional. Either way, doesn't really help your XVG bags.

HAHAHAHH "xvg bags" ..as it's been the only coin with a steady upswing in a bloody market, with one of the nicest looking charts out there.  Keep hodling your monero kiddo
You're most definitely from the verge subreddit. Only those retards go around thinking anyone who criticizes their shitcoin is holding a competing private coin bag. Let's get this straight. Verge doesn't compete with any privacy coins. It doesn't have a private ledger like they said it would. Before refuting me, you can ask Justin Valo for yourself. He said he doesn't believe a blockchain is a blockchain if it has a private ledger. Also, stealth addresses + Tor aka wraith doesn't stop block chain analysis which is the only used way with which LE has made arrests relating to the dark web. They don't care about IP because it's hard to figure out if a node is actually making a transaction or just forwarding it.

I don't have monero.  Smiley

Also, it's not the only coin to have steady upswings.

On idea it is not correct .. In some cases possible fork

nTime = max(GetBlockTime(), GetAdjustedTime());

Not - Complete nonsense ..
Next time they will have to
Code:
      if (GetBlockTime() > pindexPrev->GetBlockTime())
            return error("AcceptBlock() : block's timestamp is too early");
Grin
Code:
      if (GetBlockTime() > pindexPrev->GetBlockTime() || GetBlockTime() < pindexPrev->GetBlockTime())
            return error("AcceptBlock() : block's timestamp is too early");
