Money borrowed for gambling can be successful or unsuccessful depending on the amount borrow and he nature of the gambler. Well I actually get your point, the fact that's Someone you know will give he or she upper hand not to pay back on time or not paying at all . At first how can one bet with money lend to he or she,  when fully know that he or she may definitely endup losing that money. Because we all know that gambling is about either win or lose so is two ways. And you using money lend to you to take care of some serious situation shows that you ain't ready to grow at all. Op, when someone finds himself in a situation where he/she borrows money to gamble, the person has already gotten addicted to it. There's a says that gambling is not for everyone, though the reason why some people borrow money to gamble, for example, let's say in sports bet, some people will have sure odds which they think if they stake money, they will win. Many people did not understand that there's no guarantee in gambling, you can even bet that all the players should wear boots, I believe one of the players may come without his boots. Just kidding.  But gambling is very bad, if any newbie gives it a try 3 times and loses, I don't think they should continue wasting their money because that is the only way they can be addicted to it, and they will end up borrowing money when they are out of cash.

However, this happened to me the year I was gambling, that year was not easy for me. I was gambling with the money a friend of mine asked me to keep for him, I used to play sports betting and whenever I had sure odds, I thought I could make some profit with the money I gambled with, which I ended up losing everything. we all know that the addicted ones do borrow money to gamble let me say most of the gamblers, do borrow money to gamble but why some of them are going through much stress working so hard. That will not be recommended to borrow money from the bank or other people but some people still do that because they thinks that they can wins some money from gambling. Gambling is not business for people but gambling is just a way to have fun by playing gambling games. If they lucky, they will gets some money but they can't use gambling as a source of income. Borrowing money to gamble is the weirdest thing anyone could think of at any moment,but advising an addicted gamblers would be like a waste of time. A friend of mine use to come to me for an assistant little did I know he wanted using it for gambling,it went on this he told me he wanted using it to add to a business and would pay back and to cut it short.he came back to me again asking for another assistant and I was with someone at that moment,so it was the other guy that told me he sees him always at the betting shop gambling all day.

I laughed and realized at that point and then told him I don't have any money to borrow him,since he can't control his gambling habits I won't be the one to promote is addiction.so it's a lesson to all not to borrow anywhere to gamble or keep gambling.

Yes of course it is a mistake that should not be done, on the other hand it is actually not a problem to give or lend money to other people especially one of our friends who we have known for a long time but I think it should only be done if they use it for things that are reasonable, such as for the benefit of their lives such as buying something or for medical expenses and make sure that they are not a gambler.
