Borrowing money to gamble with is the highest level of addictions, because as a normal gambler you have to know that gambling results are uncertain and unpredictable,  so for that if you have the well withers you should already know that by Borrowing to gamble with you are already signing up for debts and debt is the primary feature of those that are already addicted.

For that, why should anyone go into Borrowing when you are going to lose the money I gamblein, gamble with the amount of money you don't need to solve any serious life responsibilities,  don't let your greed to mess you up.

And the only way is to let them go through the process, because as we know that even though we give them a lot of advice but in the end they don't listen to it and sometimes they might even think that we are someone who likes to interfere with other people's business, and that is the mindset of someone who has entered the addiction phase where they are usually very stubborn, none other than all of that is formed in their minds because they have the wrong mindset in terms of responding and responding to gambling.

One of the reasons why I say that it is better to let them go through all the process is because in the addiction problem I think only adversity can make them realize that their point of view on gambling is wrong, because in my experience there is only one way that can make an addicted gambler realize about his behavior, namely waiting for them to experience adversity that traumatizes them. On the other hand, in my opinion, something that is called a mistake in gambling is when you do things that endanger yourself such as making decisions beyond your ability.

Borrowing money just to gamble is the dumbest action anyone will take. That's the sole reason I emphasize on having a limit and plan that allows you gamble till you have another return, you can't borrow in the midst of storm, how can you pay back?, mehn this can't be overstressed as it makes no sense at all in any form.

You borrow to gamble, laughable just for fun? How some will assume.

Borrowing of money for purpose of gambling is the hardest adventure any gambler can take as the risk involved is almost 99% though it's very risky not to take a risk but such risk is like death sentence because possible of loss is greater than wining, and casino game has more advantage of wining if loss occured you have been pron to risk of paying debt which is avoidable.

Gambling should not go to the extend if taking loan or borrowing of money just to gamble it's addiction not just for fun but move out of hand. It very unwise taken such risk the best is to stay within your limit one playing with what it have at hand with good planing is the Best than play more than what you can afford that will leads to borrowing.

I have tried this before, when I didn't know much about some principles of gambling and I cannot remember any single time I won when I gamble with borrowed funds. Long before now, I have stopped borrowing to gamble because it didn't favor me. To remain profitable in gambling, one should be able to separate what works for him and what doesn't.

Surprisingly, what I have noticed is that when I have so much money in my system, the desperation to win naturally go away and that is when I make good money from gambling. Is there really anything like the more you have, the easier more will be added to your wealth? This seems to be the principle that works for me. I will very much love to know if there is anyone having this kind of experience too.

Unfortunately, common sense is not common.

If not, why would anyone borrow money all because of gambling? When it comes to risks you shouldn't be using money that's not yours, most times they will land you in trouble, I almost took a loan to invest, yeah you heard right, to invest in crypto some weeks back but I changed my mind, now the asset have dump like 20% more.

Even if the money is all yours, think about the hard work you put in before getting the money, people don't get it that luck doesn't happen always, and it is clearing that this is what brings money for the casinos, you won't always get lucky, and most times you will lose, do someone needs to tell you to thread carefully around gambling? Actually, there's no easy ways to change a person especially when they're binded with addiction. However, if we felt a lot of failures because of that wrong decisions we made I guess it's our best chance to overcome certain habits instead of experiencing the same situation. Commiting the same mistakes, knowing that it caused you several circumstances no one will be blame but ourselves.

That's related because the main thing from that two thing is you have the money and you only use some money you can afford to lose and never breaks it. If they don't have money, they don't have to borrow other people money because that can makes them in trouble and should stay away from gambling. No matters those people have money or don't have money, they will not have a big chance to wins. So they don't have to risks themselves playing gambling and better doing other things that doesn't have a big risks. If they can have a good self control and some money, they can playing gambling but they must be strict to themselves and never thinks about making money from gambling because that will still difficult. They can playing gambling is only for fun and never borrows money to gambling.

To have fun and get entertained are the same. The one that you should say instead is 'to make money'. Both of them are already a goal and I think a lot of gamblers will have a goal of making money. No doubt as it's also important. We can use it to buy our food and other things in life and all of these can still make us happy. Winning 100% is possible but winning at all times is indeed impossible.

It's also true that there are restrictions in sports betting but I haven't heard anyone that got restricted for winning too much in casino games. I guess it's because winning at them is hard and takes a lot of trials and error, so the casino owners just let the players feel the victory sometimes.

We can't play if we don't have a budget or capital but if you mean budget or bankroll management, I thought you said earlier that it is needed? But it is really, so that we won't lose our way, therefore we must learn how to sacrifice our urge to play more sometimes.

In playing gambling there's always a risk not assured that you will win the game but you can lessen the risk, depends on the game of course, if you play for a slot games you cant identify if you have chance to have the maximum wins but instead if you play such as strategy game like the table top games, sports bet or other games that consist a statistics, data and knowledge how to win could lessen the risk and increase the chance of winning. Seeking for debt for IMHO is not ideal because as i was saying there's no assurance you will win every game you will wage. Its okay to seek debt if you have the capability to pay but if not better to side aside too much playing gambling.

Its never been easy because if it was easy then tons of people would really be able to make himself quit or able to stop if they are at loss then there would be not much number of platforms that we can see today or simply with this industry on which it numbers wont be that rampant. On the moment that you are already borrowing or taking up some loan just to gambling then its a solid sign that you are already addicted to it and this is something the best time for you to quit or turn your back with gambling because once you do decide on continuing no matter what until your last drop of money
then you are just basically putting up your life into such big trouble.

If you dont like on having a miserable life then you should really be that responsible because if you dont then expect the consequences.
People would really be just tending to changed up their actions on the moment that they will really be having that huge problem towards it.

If you think about it, the saying of "never borrow money to fund your gambling habits" actually rides on the saying of "gamble with money you can afford to lose !"
Now if you are going to rely on other people to finance your gambling habits then it's simple logic to conclude that you can not afford it and should stay away..

Besides, if you want to give yourself a winning chance with gambling, then you are better of having a free and clear mind which means not playing on another person's account called debt and this allows you not to play under any sort of pressure...

If a gambler will continue to have that kind of mindset, he's nowhere to go. Many of his friends are going to be away from him if he has taken a loan already from them even they're paid.

Because out of the activity of being a gambler, they'll look to themselves being a partaker of their friend who's addicted and has the habit of taking loan for gambling.

That's actually the start of the problem when we're about to chase and recover our losses. That sounds to be a plan but that plan will turn into disaster later on.

There's no need for more explanation about that because for sure that each of us have experienced that instead of recovering, the majority have to deal with more losses.

It is better if that's the purpose but a determined gambler won't think of that because his way of recovery is through gambling again, it's a cycle, rinse and repeat. /s

Would you please comment on the following situation that occurred in our company. We were at the offline casino abroad. We took some money (cash) and went gambling at the evening. One of my friends ran out of money. Dont know why, reckless gambling or simply unlucky, but that does no matter. So the other guy I know, said that he would lend that guy money to gamble, so that he wont just stand, watch and wait until we had enough of gambling for today. The guy accepted offer, took money and lost. From the other side, he could have won. What should those two do in this situation? First guy should not offer to lend money, and second guy should not accept that offer?

You have actually said a lot, and I commend you for hitting the nail on the head, but their is a few things I just want to add to it, first of all, one of the major reason most people engage in such activities, such as borrowing money just to gamble is that, they gambles with and amount they can't afford to lose and by doing so, they got into a very difficult situation whereby they just can't let go, they feels the needs that they must win back their losses, and due to their lack of funds, they went and borrowed money to gamble, not knowing that it will definitely ends in failure, because in gambling, once you are desperate, you will start making wrong decisions that is definitely going to cost you more, so it's very wrong to even think of borrowing money, just to gamble.

Lastly, it's very much unlikely that someone will borrow money to gamble, if he is actually gambling for fun, it's only those that sees gambling as a means of making money that can do such, and I suggest that it's a move that should be greatly discouraged, because it's not going to ends well.

It is not even that it can be expensive to recover losses, most gamblers will lose and never recover the money lost to gambling back. Few may be able to recover the money but they will start losing again. The more someone is frequent in gambling the more the person is likely to lose. Anyone that is addicted will lose often and be using almost all or all the money he has in bank or wallet to gamble. What I have noticed more about gambling is that the gambling platforms set the risks and the odds in a way only them would be favored. You can see the casinos and other gambling platforms that are increasing in traffic on their website getting richer day by day because gamblers are losing.

Something which is very very wrong on where you would really be needing up to reconsider on making your actions because we do know that when we do gamble then its something that will be spending money on which means that spending up something which is really that out of your budget will definitely mess up your life if you do continue on what you are doing. You might not be able to feel it right away but on the moment that you would be noticing it then that would be also the time that you are already that on a tough financial bad condition and this is something that we dont really like to happen into our lives. It would be normal for a human being to have that kind adjustment on the moment that they would be noticing that they are struggling when it comes to money on which this should really have done earlier because

just simply surviving on eating 3x a day or even does have a shelter. Your life would really be that devastated on the moment that you do put your focus on spending up money in gambling. On the moment or time that you
are compromising your life savings or already that selling out your posession or things because of gambling then this is a solid sign that you should quit before its too late or everything becomes messy.

It's no longer inappropriate, because in my opinion borrowing money and using it for gambling is a very wrong and bad action. It's true that with those who are at the point of frustration, of course they might do this. The feeling of wanting to win continues to encourage them to gamble even though they no longer have money to bet, but the feeling of wanting to win encourages them to do various things in order to make money and return to gambling and of course those who take out loans to gamble are people who are in point of frustration. Maybe they think they can't turn back because they have gone too far so they just want to keep betting and hope that luck will happen that will give them a big win.

It's true, if we take out a loan, it's best to use it for something more useful, such as starting a small business or something else, because if it's used for gambling, it's very likely that it will only end in defeat, which will result in them losing their money, and there won't be any. guarantee to be able to make a profit even using borrowed money or with a high betting amount. We should also be able to control our emotions by not taking actions that pose big risks or being reckless in our actions. Of course, with our emotional state, we can be careless in deciding what action to take.

Yes OP's post advice is practical however easier said than done. it's very easy to know what you should be doing before your session, but once your emotion arises, you forget all about those things about your rules. That's why it will always take you to much about your overall discipline following it. Otherwise, you will go in circles and getting back to your bad habits and addiction. You need to consciously end the cycle of you being a loser of the game and the only way to do that is to just do and follow your rules consistently. Discipline is not a magic handed to you. You must hone and develop it.

That's a good piece of advice for all of us, but I don't think it would be applicable to a person with gambling problems particular to addiction. My friend literally borrow money taking loans of different loan sharks, eventually he got so stressed of work just earning money for his debts.
Now, how this works for him and as a friend who gave him good advice doesn't take effect as many times I've been reprimanding him to control his gambling habits. There's no improvement that I see, it kepts recurring nothing happens and his debts is increasing so bad because of gambling.
