I have already given here an example: you are in a company with friends in a casino, and one of them run out of money. What will you do? Let him stand and watch you having fun or gambling? Or lend him money for gambling. Which is, by posts here, a red flag, because person will use money for gambling and already is in a loss.

Nobody has answered it, but this is rather tricky situation. Borrowing money for gambling vs helping a friend. You can either make his life even worse, or feel uncomfortable for not helping.

That's a mistake when you taking a loan for playing gambling. You must not use loan money to playing gambling because there's no guarantees for you to win the games. If you use your own money, you don't have to repay the loan to anyone and you don't  have to feels anything except regrets your lose.

If you take a loan, that must for your daily lives that you need because you are in the urgent situations and you really need that money to survive. That's the reason you take a loan and not just use that money for playing gambling. If you can avoids that, you will not have any problem with other people and you don't have to search for other loan every time you playing gambling. You must makes sure you can lives without gambling because there's many things you can do to enjoy your spare time without playing gambling.

Yeah being a gambling addict is bad and can lead to all such of negative effects to ones lives, but honestly his wife went to far with the burning alive stuff . She knew right from time that her husband was an addict she would have atleast find away to help him fight against that gambling urge . Because money is something we can get back just by hard working and working smart, but lives is not something that one can get back once a person lives his taken the person is gone forever. So both where actually wrong expecially his wife's see went too far with her action.

Indeed, when someone is addicted, it will be difficult to get out of it, and indirectly, of course, bad impacts will follow within a certain period of time which can endanger themselves and even endanger their own family.
I think I know the news you read, friend, but if you think about it, it's also the husband's fault for the gambling he did because he spent his own money, even his wife's money, because if it's like that and it's not stopped, of course the husband will also be even more brave to do it. doing things that are not appropriate, such as stealing or other things that harm other people, in relation to his wife, in my opinion, maybe he did this because he had lost his patience so he did this very surprising action.

Agree. Addiction is something very dangerous and can even kill you or your family. I just read the news in my country that a husband was burned alive by his wife because her husband was addicted to gambling, not only spending his own money but also his wife's money. This made his wife angry and unable to control herself, so she burned her husband to death. This is a true story, gambling addiction is not a trivial matter, especially if you are married. That's right, as you said, this starts from greed which leads to addiction and greed does not recognize poor and rich or smart and stupid. One should not borrow money to gamble, gamble is a thing that one should do with his own personal money and the money a gambler should use to gamble is an amount that he can afford to lose. When a gambler borrows money to gamble and when he lose there will be no way to repay the loans because he has lost all the money. Gambling isnt bad but at the moment that you are already that borrowing funds or money just for you to gamble then this is a solid indicative sign that you are really that going into the path on gambling addiction.

I just don't know what some people think before taking a loan. If you are taking a loan, then it should be for something reasonable and not for gambling. We know gambling is supposed to be for fun, then I don’t know why you have to be in debt just because you want to have fun, it's totally wrong. Why will you want to have fun, and after having fun, you will be looking for a way to pay back your loan? Maybe it’s just high time people started thinking before taking any action. When gambling, we should just have fun. Make sure we are not addicted to gambling, because addiction is what causes all those things.

Well all what you have said  is basically the 101 classes that's involved in gambling and very few persons actually make an attempt talkless of passing the test involved which is the act to recognize when you have reached your limits. The thing is that some gamblers do get the opportunity to actually recover some of the funds they lost for a session but the problem now is that it's not a consistent occurrence so the wild dream of it happening everytime is merely a mirage.

A gambler's main enemy is his greediness. His more greediness will make him loser. Some times gamblers try to recover the lost money soon but the result is null. In such way he will become addicted. It is easy for people who gamble regularly to become addicted to gambling. They cannot control themselves at all. They will start borrowing money after losing their savings at some point. Thus their loan amount will increase. Gambling can be enjoyable if one does not consider it a source of income. Excessive gambling will increase the number of losses there than wins. A gambler must practice responsible gambling.

Indeed right, and if we only understand the risk then we will always take that opportunity not to play more when given that chance to win, instead we will quit and stop playing as we know the possibilities that it will return to the house if we won't be wise enough taking it out from the casino,

though there are some experienced gamblers who can manage to work on it and able to control their emotions but more on the side where gamblers thinks that they can win more by continuing the game.

Suppose they continue on after a win. That's what usually happens because we cannot stop ourselves from trying to milk the gambling site more but their system ain't a fool who will not notice what is happening. It is written in a program that we cannot win continuously, they are just using those wins to make us believe everything is possible. That's why, it's all up to us on when we should stop.

This is beyond greed my friend, it is an addiction. If you are still greedy in gambling, thank your God, you can get out of it easily if you are wise, but if you are addicted, whether you are wise or not, it will control you so uglily until you find a cure (if there will ever be any). This is why you hear stories of gamblers doing unspeakable things like selling their properties to gamble or borrowing money for the purpose among others. Are these people sane in your opinion? No.

This is how you would know that it is beyond mere greed but an entangling situation that is psychological (addiction). Once we detect this in anyone close to us, we should never take it lightly, we should reach out to help in our little way or refer them to external help that is professional about it.

To me it is not only the fact someone would ask for a loan to gamble or to do something which brings them fun of thrill. It is also about how I am yet to find one single story about a gambler who asked to a loan to wager, had Good luck on multiplying the money and decided to stop and pay back the loan.
In reality, most of the stories about gamblers asking for loans will end up badly, because even though the person manages to double the money, it is unlikely they will stop there, because of the greed of the moment. They will continue to gamble until all the money they asked and their unrealized gains are pretty much away.
Even if someone has a big enough willpower to know when  to stop with their borrowed money, I would never advise anyone to do so. It is just asking for problems...

Exactly. Gambling is mostly for having fun, it doesn't need to be so serious. If we have no money, just stop temporarily and don't force to play gambling with loan money. If we force to gamble with loan money, it is not a wise decision because it doesn't deserve for borrowing money. Unless it is for emergency or urgent needs, it is better to stay away from taking a loan. Stay gamble with a safe way!!

Agree. One of the ways to avoid an excessive gambling is by sticking with allocated money for gambling. If the allocated money is over, just stop gambling until we have money again. Choosing the loan money for gambling isn't the right way because we have no urgent thing with gambling. Be a smart gambler with a good management in gambling funds. If we want to gamble for a long time, we don't gamble excessively because it leads to a lot of problems.

It mostly ends up with severe problems because most of gamblers take a loan for chasing the wins. They are trying to recover their losses but it triggers to more losses. That's why it is no recommended to gamble with loan money. There is no guarantee for winning, gambling generally depends on the luck. So, just gamble with safe money!

The problem is that, if gambling is something we should be having fun doing, and we are taking loan to do that then there is a mathematical error there. You shouldn't take a loan to do something "fun" that you will lose money on.

I mean fun is not worth getting a loan, loan is something you take because you have no money left and need money, there is no "need" to gamble, gambling isn't a persons need, it's just a hobby or something you do at free time. This means that you can live without gambling whereas loan is for things like medical bills, food, rent, and those type of things that you must have. I believe that if you are taking a loan to gamble then we are ending up seeing something that will get a lot of trouble in the end for sure.
