While gambling in front of kids, I have never (or our company) never showed that we do it to win money. We play card, monopoly or other board games on weekends evening, everyone are having fun, kids come and watch from time to time. And I have never saw them repeating gambling. They have plenty of their own games to play. But, if I would intentionally gamble and hide it, I think that would trigger more interest to what I am doing and why.

Kids these days are really good at accessing different videos. Now, they are addicted to the damn toilets. What I really want to do is take out the advertisements that pop out of YouTube but you need premium access to do that. That is why I prefer to just let them use the other application which is mainly for kids.
About showing them that you gamble (online gambling) I don't think they really have an idea about it unless they ask what is happening. We will just have to do what we are good at as a parent, to lie. 
I love it more when my kids are playing physical games like their Legos and their other toys, that way they will avoid anything that is on the internet especially the bad ones.

If a parent cannot lead by example, like if you did not wanted your kids to drink alcohol the easiest way to achieve this will be by not drinking alcohol yourself, then they need to at least hide those activities from the eyes of their kids.

As kids are very susceptible to learn things by trying to imitate what they see, and if they see that one of their parents spends a great deal of time gambling, then the curiosity will get the best of them and they will try it at some point when they are too young to understand what they are doing.

Yes, it is true that as a parent, if you want to access gambling, it would be better to avoid your child or, more precisely, gamble when your child is not around or look for another, safer place to gamble without your child knowing.

Ordinarily, it is not advisable to do anything of such in the presence of your kiddos since they are not up to the legal age of engaging in such activities.  Kids are very curious about anything they see and would want to have knowledge about it to him the experience too so in that case they would want to have a taste of it their own which is why most times it is advisable to not do such in the presence of children below the age of 18. As a parent, what ever your child see's you do that is what they would want to emulate from you that is why parents are warmed to to be very careful what they do in the very presence of their kids as they are very sensitive.

I dont see for it to be necessary if we are really just that talking about enhancing your emotion reading towards other people or would really be enhancing your mathematical analysis or skills which we do know that this could really be acquired into other ways or methods on which you could really be able to gain such thing without needing on getting involved or engaged with gambling but if this one would really be your method then its your choice but i would say that it isnt something ideal to be done. There are really just moments or situations in life on which we do know that it is inevitably be able to avoid and this is why proper guidance and awareness should really be thought in our kids so that they wont really be that get easily be influenced on the time that they would really be able to encounter it.

As much as possible then its better that making your gambling activity to be really that not that visible or something that could be seen by your children as much as possible
because anything on whatever their eyes do see towards on the things that their parents had done or been doing then its always been that a right thing for them on which
it would be likely to be followed later on.

Children always learn by imitation, if any one gamble with in front of them, that child will surely gamble today or tomorrow. But the parent should be most careful in this matter so that his children do not get addicted to anything. Some gamblers have the indifference of thinking that a child will not understand anything, but there is no doubt that the child can remember even though many try to gamble with caution. You just proved my point, that if kid watches adults gamble, id doesnt necessary mean that he will turn into addicted gambler when he grows up Good that you realise that kids should be educated and supervised about pros and cons of gambling, not just by simply banning, forbidding or hiding your game from them. While many see only money and addiction in gambling, I see training math skills and memory in it, as well as strategical thinking and general diverse vision of things. What if from watching adults play poker, a kid learns how to read people and their emotions? I think such skill can be useful in his future life.

Tom and Jerry is a kid's show. It showcases some lessons despite being a little silly for adult view. If you have an option, better to expose them to trivial, educational, creative, and entertaining shows. Regarding TV, you can supervise what your child will watch. There are different genres and level of audience guide for every show, so it doesn't necessarily mean that when a child frequently watches tv, it can bring bad habit.

Additionally, you can supervise the usage of gadget and the sites your child will go to. As a parent, it is your responsibility to make sure your child's welfare is prioritized over anything else. One way to do it is to filter what you feed their mind. Explain them the advantages and disadvantages of something once they know already how to process things. Perhaps you can start to educate them about gambling and its pros and cons when they hit the puberty stage. That way, they won't be ignorant and naive about it, and they won't be pressured by their peers to try it impulsively.

Dont show your kids such cartoon as Tom&Jerry, as they will turn into maniacs. Before saying that every child that watches adult gamble will become addicted, could you give any proof that this might really happen? Also never show your kids an Internet, because it is full of bad things in it. Ban TV, as eventually the kid will come across an episode of violence. Also dont allow him to read, because among good books, there are books about war, horror, or just dont let him read, as he will spoil his vision.

@op, you are absolutely right if gambling is exposed to our children they will eventually progress to gambling and become addicted. I'm not a real gambler though. Even if this path is taken for good money or to live a good life, the children cannot be moved in this direction. Because I or your child is young so their future is very bright. If a child turns to gambling then their life will be very difficult and they will become very addicted to it. Your suggestion is very good. So all parents should do it secretly if they have to gamble, so that children do not know about gambling and do not get addicted to gambling.

Guys, by reading your posts here your kid either spend all the time in closed room and dont see anything you do, as you are to afraid that he will repeat that and get an addiction of doing something. Or never had kids or dont know what modern kids are interested in right now.

That was too much too think I guess. These kids don't bother with adult stuffs even they are curious with it.

What they like to do most is to only spend watching funny videos on Youtube or play games such as Minecraft, Roblux etc.

As a guardian, it's their responsibility to guide the kid if gambling concern was raised to them. There's no point on hiding it.

The kids may learn the gambling by staying with their parents for some months while their parents play the game.So the game can be easily learn from their parents,the parents mostly don’t deny to give their mobile phone or tablet to their children.The kids may use the account which was already login by their parents in the same device.So like this they can easily play the game using their parents help.But this game won’t be in high number,because he can be captured by their parents by the card usage messages.
