The kids may learn the gambling by staying with their parents for some months while their parents play the game.So the game can be easily learn from their parents, the parents mostly don’t deny to give their mobile phone or tablet to their children. The kids may use the account which was already login by their parents in the same device. So like this they can easily play the game using their parents help.

That was too much too think I guess. These kids don't bother with adult stuffs even they are curious with it.

What they like to do most is to only spend watching funny videos on Youtube or play games such as Minecraft, Roblux etc.

As a guardian, it's their responsibility to guide the kid if gambling concern was raised to them. There's no point on hiding it.

You already know the truth: kids at this age are too preoccupied to play Mobile Legends, Roblox, or watch YouTube. Children today, especially those aged 7 to 10, are not aware of playing gambling games like slot machines that are played on mobile phones.

Perhaps instead of just showing children how the casino appears, it would be ideal to explain to them what can happen when gambling is done improperly. This cannot be done with children since they are not yet adults; instead, they should learn about it gradually as they mature.

Well it's true that usually children who are still at the age of 7 - 10 years are very happy when playing games, it's quite easy for them to understand and of course they will get pleasure there. As in general and we also may already know that minors have a very high curiosity about whatever they see, if they only see you gambling I think it won't have much effect because they won't understand what you are doing, unless you force the child to follow your gambling and teach it then it is very possible that the things that are feared will happen, even though they have a high enough curiosity but if there is nothing to encourage them then they will not enter the gambling.

Yes that's right, it's better for you to explain the bad effects that exist in this gambling rather than bringing them to do the same thing, and if you do otherwise then as we know the various negative effects they will feel, such as the downturn that many people have felt.

Kids these days are really good at accessing different videos. Now, they are addicted to the damn toilets. What I really want to do is take out the advertisements that pop out of YouTube but you need premium access to do that. That is why I prefer to just let them use the other application which is mainly for kids.
About showing them that you gamble (online gambling) I don't think they really have an idea about it unless they ask what is happening. We will just have to do what we are good at as a parent, to lie.  Grin
I love it more when my kids are playing physical games like their Legos and their other toys, that way they will avoid anything that is on the internet especially the bad ones.

Ohh yeah, Skibidi toilet is something... I can block every video and channel my kid watches, but this toilet will appear in suggested videos anyway. Impossible to fight that. Same can be referred to kids, you can hide that you gamble, but the kid will find it out anyway.

While gambling in front of kids, I have never (or our company) never showed that we do it to win money. We play card, monopoly or other board games on weekends evening, everyone are having fun, kids come and watch from time to time. And I have never saw them repeating gambling. They have plenty of their own games to play. But, if I would intentionally gamble and hide it, I think that would trigger more interest to what I am doing and why.

Ordinarily, it is not advisable to do anything of such in the presence of your kiddos since they are not up to the legal age of engaging in such activities.  Kids are very curious about anything they see and would want to have knowledge about it to him the experience too so in that case they would want to have a taste of it their own which is why most times it is advisable to not do such in the presence of children below the age of 18. As a parent, what ever your child see's you do that is what they would want to emulate from you that is why parents are warmed to to be very careful what they do in the very presence of their kids as they are very sensitive.
Yes, it's true, I have a child and he often does what I do, that's why I never gamble in front of my children, I always play at night when they are asleep, so I play more calmly, besides, I'm not a crazy gambler anywhere and Whenever I gamble, I can always manage my time and control my desire to gamble.

But if occasionally my child sees and asks, usually I will answer that it's just a game so it's okay to explain it, after all, this is online gambling, we can have certain reasons when we hold a cellphone, for example playing a game, maybe what we are worried about is if we are gambling. physical where children will see and follow, especially if playing at home, is not recommended, whatever it is, staying away from anything related to gambling in front of children will be very helpful.  Wink

Dont show your kids such cartoon as Tom&Jerry, as they will turn into maniacs. Before saying that every child that watches adult gamble will become addicted, could you give any proof that this might really happen? Also never show your kids an Internet, because it is full of bad things in it. Ban TV, as eventually the kid will come across an episode of violence. Also dont allow him to read, because among good books, there are books about war, horror, or just dont let him read, as he will spoil his vision.

Tom and Jerry is a kid's show. It showcases some lessons despite being a little silly for adult view. Although for me it's not really one of the best shows you could offer to your child because we have numerous child shows that are educational and fun altogether nowadays. If you have an option, better to expose them to trivial, educational, creative, and entertaining shows. Regarding TV, you can supervise what your child will watch. There are different genres and level of audience guide for every show, so it doesn't necessarily mean that when a child frequently watches tv, it can bring bad habit.

Additionally, you can supervise the usage of gadget and the sites your child will go to. As a parent, it is your responsibility to make sure your child's welfare is prioritized over anything else. One way to do it is to filter what you feed their mind. Explain them the advantages and disadvantages of something once they know already how to process things. Perhaps you can start to educate them about gambling and its pros and cons when they hit the puberty stage. That way, they won't be ignorant and naive about it, and they won't be pressured by their peers to try it impulsively.

You just proved my point, that if kid watches adults gamble, id doesnt necessary mean that he will turn into addicted gambler when he grows up Cheesy Good that you realise that kids should be educated and supervised about pros and cons of gambling, not just by simply banning, forbidding or hiding your game from them. While many see only money and addiction in gambling, I see training math skills and memory in it, as well as strategical thinking and general diverse vision of things. What if from watching adults play poker, a kid learns how to read people and their emotions? I think such skill can be useful in his future life.
I thought so, it was a trap.  Cheesy

Yes, it is true that as a parent, if you want to access gambling, it would be better to avoid your child or, more precisely, gamble when your child is not around or look for another, safer place to gamble without your child knowing.
Because currently there are so many bad impacts when underage children gamble and it all starts with the parents' habit of gambling in front of their children so that curiosity arises and they learn secretly and put it into practice.
Today's young generation is very good at accessing advanced technology such as smartphones so that once they want to know what they are thinking they will try to find out via the internet and if minors gamble without their parents knowing it will definitely be very bad in the long run.
If a parent cannot lead by example, like if you did not wanted your kids to drink alcohol the easiest way to achieve this will be by not drinking alcohol yourself, then they need to at least hide those activities from the eyes of their kids.

As kids are very susceptible to learn things by trying to imitate what they see, and if they see that one of their parents spends a great deal of time gambling, then the curiosity will get the best of them and they will try it at some point when they are too young to understand what they are doing.

I dont see for it to be necessary if we are really just that talking about enhancing your emotion reading towards other people or would really be enhancing your mathematical analysis or skills which we do know that this could really be acquired into other ways or methods on which you could really be able to gain such thing without needing on getting involved or engaged with gambling but if this one would really be your method then its your choice but i would say that it isnt something ideal to be done. There are really just moments or situations in life on which we do know that it is inevitably be able to avoid and this is why proper guidance and awareness should really be thought in our kids so that they wont really be that get easily be influenced on the time that they would really be able to encounter it.

As much as possible then its better that making your gambling activity to be really that not that visible or something that could be seen by your children as much as possible
because anything on whatever their eyes do see towards on the things that their parents had done or been doing then its always been that a right thing for them on which
it would be likely to be followed later on.

i dont think any gambler will intentionally want their kid to see them doing it. kids learn so fast and when they see their parent doing it they also want to try. its good to take caution and be very careful sometimes these kids might be watching their parents without them knowing and then they go to start practising behind them. one thing about children is that the like to practise what they see and if they see it constantly, it gives them confidence to want to try it.
I don't think any gambler have any intention of playing gambling in the presence of their children,  but some people are very careless in the manner of how they do things which they can even forget themselves by playing gambling In the presence of their children.  It is important for gambler to be careful and very conscious whenever they want to play gamble not to make mistakes of playing in the presence of their kids .
Children are very fast in learning and they pick interest to learn what will be a problem to their life in the future, gambling lifestyle can  be a severe problem for kids if they are affected by gambling.
Children always learn by imitation, if any one gamble with in front of them, that child will surely gamble today or tomorrow. But the parent should be most careful in this matter so that his children do not get addicted to anything. Some gamblers have the indifference of thinking that a child will not understand anything, but there is no doubt that the child can remember even though many try to gamble with caution. Every parent needs to be aware so that their children never neglect their natural development. All the negative aspects must be avoided from children.

@op, you are absolutely right if gambling is exposed to our children they will eventually progress to gambling and become addicted. I'm not a real gambler though. Even if this path is taken for good money or to live a good life, the children cannot be moved in this direction. Because I or your child is young so their future is very bright. If a child turns to gambling then their life will be very difficult and they will become very addicted to it. Your suggestion is very good. So all parents should do it secretly if they have to gamble, so that children do not know about gambling and do not get addicted to gambling.

Hey gamblers' community, hope you're all doing great.
I wanted to convey my message here that gambling in front of our kids may put adverse effects on their growing minds and they may also take the wrong path and start gambling (either by asking you personally for funds or by stealing it in order to fulfill their gambling cravings).

I'm sharing this because I saw this issue with my kiddo who was once watching me gamble at a website playing blackjack and she started asking me more about the game. Then one day, she wanted to play it herself and asked me if she can go for it and I said "no, it's not your legal age to go for such games". So, it's better to keep our kiddos away from gambling and let them focus on their studies, else it'd actually ruin everything for the whole family if the kid takes the wrong path.

However, when children play with their peers and bring their smartphones, they can show each other what they do at home. And if some children show their activity in the form of gambling, there will be children who will be interested in knowing about it and will probably gamble together. They indeed like watching funny videos on YouTube, but that doesn't mean they always watch videos like that.

We as parents must always pay attention to our children and guide them so they don't go down the wrong path. By giving them an understanding that there are things they are not appropriate to do and there are things they should not do, it will give them knowledge about what they should and should not do. They will not try to do something that they think is not good.

Explain how these kids will even know how to access a gambling site if in the first place, they still didn't know where even have to start?

These kids, probably in the bracket below 15 of age won't spend time knowing what gambling is especially if it involves money. On that age, they never hold enough money and they don't know well how to access the internet outside their usual activity like they are only watching Youtube etc.

If kids saw us doing gambling, they will just taught that we are just playing a usual game.

As well as the kid, the device with logged in account can be use someone else, so that isnt a big reason not to gamble in front of kids. Even if they use adults account, I doubt that they will spend much time gambling and will spent a lot of money, as they would be interested in something else (like YouTube or downloading games for example).

Guys, by reading your posts here your kid either spend all the time in closed room and dont see anything you do, as you are to afraid that he will repeat that and get an addiction of doing something. Or never had kids or dont know what modern kids are interested in right now.

i dont think any gambler will intentionally want their kid to see them doing it. kids learn so fast and when they see their parent doing it they also want to try. its good to take caution and be very careful sometimes these kids might be watching their parents without them knowing and then they go to start practising behind them. one thing about children is that the like to practise what they see and if they see it constantly, it gives them confidence to want to try it.

That's why it's better not to show it to children, because when children see something new in their eyes, curiosity will immediately exist to find out about it, and they won't realize it until they get what they want. So it's really right not to show it only in gambling.

Of course, there are other things that will not bring them good things, and whatever things are not good, let them understand or teach them correctly that it is not good for young people like them to do; that's just the way it is easy to do if we care about them.

Another thing is that children learn from what they see when they are young. His first teachers are his parents children will learn the same when they see their parents gambling. Due to the influence of parents the children of the family are rarely human and become addicted like gambling. This is why gambling should not be done in front of them. Children are the future of our country and nation so give them time to stay away from addictions like gambling become a good person.

In part, everything you say is true, no one can deny what you say, the dangers lie in many small things, we cannot abide in front of them, but I am sure that they know a caisno and it catches their attention, in fact they can make an account in a casino and that's it, without realizing it they can do many things, like playing, learning to Play, and even having good luck , I have seen how some cases here in the forum say that some have been able to do things well because they win a lot , and Well , they are very specific things , but in Particular things can always be focused on knowledge, so a child will always have access to knowledge because when you Deny Info to a person, in this case a child will try to have it and acquire it, that is It is the law, if only we as adults are denied Knowledge of when we can do things to get it, then for even a child things can be very Focused to get the information that is correct , that is what any child does, In fact they are used to it, especially when it is an activity related to games, I think that in part you should talk to a Child, not so much bet in front of him, because a child can say that he can have control of money, and that he can even make much better bets than we as adults.

In the game, based on what children ask to access a certain amount of information, I do not consider it to be so dangerous for children to have access to a casino , the Dangerous thing is that they can have the data of their parents Credit Cards and so they can place bets, this is what does have a tinge of imminent danger, otherwise I don't see that it is so dangerous, because it is a game, and the children use the games, the dangerous thing is that they handle money, that is what It is not correct, that is why it should be imposed to a child that the value of Money is unique and that it Must be takenCare of.

i dont think any gambler will intentionally want their kid to see them doing it. kids learn so fast and when they see their parent doing it they also want to try. its good to take caution and be very careful sometimes these kids might be watching their parents without them knowing and then they go to start practising behind them. one thing about children is that the like to practise what they see and if they see it constantly, it gives them confidence to want to try it.
That because no parent wants their children to do the same thing namely gambling because it can ruin the future and affect the quality of learning as child but as you said there are some careless parents who gamble openly even in in front of their children because they become addicts and no longer care about the children or families they have accompanied.
I feel irritated with such people because they have gone too far by exposing their children to gambling activities and making it possible for their children to gamble too.

Apart from being very quick at learning children also have quite high level of curiosity which makes them more susceptible to gambling habits if they have tried it or know about it.
For this reason to always supervise and provide education to children so that they avoid gambling activities in any form rather than displaying gambling in front of children.
