The best for you to do right now is to study the market and gain experience first. It's hard to invest not knowing what you're investing in. Most of us invest when the market is red because the prices are cheap and the others just panic which leads them to sell their coins that would eventually make their investment fail. Our market has a high risk so better analyze things first.
Right now we are going through last couple of ups and downs , when we get rid of this wavy trend we will be climbing up the stairs. It’s not a smart thing to sell your coins now unless you are going to buy another cheap coin which will increase much more than your current one. If that’s the case it’s ok but if you want to cash out , don’t.

Since you already hold for such a long term (In crypto months is consider long), its better to continue hodl

Personally, this is always a very good way to make your portfolio bigger in terms of value and size
However, you would need to know when to sell and buy back
I made mistakes selling at the lowest point and fail to buy back at point which eventually lead me to lose more value, so i hodl onto most of the coins
by the way what coin are you holding? See first how the growth chart of the price of the coin before, if there is a possibility the price will rise again as before then hold it, if need to buy coins again.
Selling near the bottom at a loss is not good. Bottoming process can take long time sometimes so just need

Better sell it if you are in need. Better to hold it if not.
I believe that everything will increase in due time for all altcoins. Hopefully that I'm not mistaken in my own word and prediction.

Right now, the market is slow and windless. I think it is more suitable for holding than selling them. By now it is not beneficial for you to sell. I'm new to this market, maybe I'm unlucky to invest in a panic market but I will not sell them at this time. I will patiently wait for the market to return to orbit.
Aside from holding which others have suggested, I would advocate you focus on the reason you feel like this is all going to hell. Is it because the project is no longer good? In that case, sell it because it may go down more. But if the project is okay and nothing has changed fundamentally I would hold. Also do take note of how you feel during all this because as traders one of the biggest hurdles is our emotions. If we can tame them we stand a chance to win, if we can't tame them then we stand no chance.
This is good advice. I think the OP needs to decide if each altcoin is one that deserves a place in the longer-term hodling part of their portfolio alongside Bitcoin, or whether they are shit-coins that are only good for pump and dumps and that have no long term survival prospect. They should then cut their losses with the shit-coins and sell them for bitcoin, and then hodl the bitcoin and better altcoins awaiting the next market upturn and ultimate boom.

The current scenario is not supporting to coins and tokens so don't sell know you should wait for one year it will make more profit. But you should check the tokens value because most of the shitcoins are launching the cryptomarket.So hold your coins and analyse the future possibilities of your tokens is the right way to protect your investment.
