The Forum looks great and is indeed the best way to find all the info we need on the coin. I suggest you put a link right at the beginning of the ANN so that new people can quickly learn where to find all the infos and faq.

And what’s the roi of a static node level 1? Is possible run the node without move the coins from my personal wallet? Thanks

https://community.xtrabytes.global/faq/#answer74

Also, the coins used for registering the STATIC are held in a "deposit" wallet that ONLY you have access to. Therefore, yes they are in a personal wallet. However, if you remove the coins, it breaks the STATIC.

I've been wondering, could Hashgraph eventually emerge as a serious rival or even completely obsolete most or all blockchain tech one day?

It might have use in banking but it being closed source (and patented) means it won't have much adoption outside big corporations.

A Steemit article has been published about todays news: https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@xtrabytes/launch-of-a-new-xtrabytes-community-forum

The new forum is a much more organized way to get info fast without having to sift through pages and pages of content.  Easier to separate ideas, responses, and conversations.

The guys working on it have knocked it out of the park and the response so far has been very positive.

I missed this even after seeing the above links to the FAQ from the last guy.  Huh MB. Good FAQ though.

The things you all do here just seem impossible compared to existing tech. You should all be really proud of what you've accomplished so far, and will in the future.

Hi xtraByters! I watched this coin for a while, and was especially impressed how Borzalom came in and saved the day way back when. I actually forgot about it since then though.

I didn't come back until I heard about and read the white paper for a coin called NULS - https://www.reddit.com/r/nulsservice/. As best I can tell it is a Chinese equivalent of xtraBytes, but not nearly as far along as you all are.

I'm really excited about a modular blockchain, but is 500000 really the final intended cost of a tier 1 Static node? That puts it at a value of over $9,000 USD right now, and this is before the mainnet is launched and the masses arrive. I do not mean to FUD, I want this project to succeed and be the one devs fork from when they try to make their own.

Here is why level 1 STATIC nodes cost what they do.

How many XBY are necessary for running a Static Node ?

 I believe it is 500,000xby or 330,000 + 170000 xfuel L1 250,000 XBY or 170,000XBY + 80,000xfuel level 2 125,000 XBY or 85,000 + 40,000 xfuel level 3.  Plus there will be some sort of fee to register.

That is right.  We now have a list of FAQs on the new forum to answer questions like this.

That's super helpful.  I had to hunt around on my desk for where I had jotted down the numbers awhile ago.  As I was doing it I was thinking there needed to be something like that.

Pretty much everything is on the new forum.  No need to hunt anything down anymore.  Smiley
