I can´t change my name cause im newbie or just nobody can?
Only Donators, VIP and mods/admins are allowed to change their own name. I would suggest you to PM theymos (https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/theymos-35) as he can help you to change your name on your behalf.

Except now I have to make empty messages of content to get those 5 posts created so i can really post where i want hah...

yeah...

The restrictions are in place partly because of spammers, if you spam to get your post count up...it probably won't end well.

Hitting the 4 hour online time is a bit frustrating tho.

It would be a lot less frustrating if I'd known about it beforehand - I've easily spent 4 hours reading threads here before I actually regisitered.

The timer also seems to climb more slowly than reality would dictate.

Hm, I just realized I can't even post to feedback threads with my post count. Why oh why can't I just be a lurker!?

This seems restrictive however, it will weed out folks that are 1 or 2 time users.

Indeed, last few days alone I must have spent about 24 hours staring to see how the bitcoinica/Zhou Tong saga would unfold!

I understand that these restrictions are probably necessary, I have an important message to post about Coinabul in their thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=50103.0;all to warn other users. However since i have to do so much legwork to get the word out, it is unlikely that less motivated users would take the time and effort to warn others or provide feedback.

I guess the idea makes sense, but I don't necessarily agree with how they combat these trolls...
