At first I didn't understand why I couldn't post some places but I fully understand now. I felt that this restriction is good in some way, I do not like you have to be online for over 4 hours since I have been tons of time online here on Bitcointalk as a guest and I know the forums and I don't think this will help against spammers and trollers.
It helps, a lot. You don't know the number of spammers we ban easily daily as they're all contained in this subforum.  Undecided
Welcome, guys.

It isn't that hard to get 5 post, it's even harder to read over 4 hours thorugh this forum, but it's worth it.
Even for me, as an older member with a new account, you'll always find somethting interesting you didn't read before Smiley

Agreed, got over 6 hrs logged and only 3 posts. Tons of info here.

Yeah, it's definitely a neat counter-trolling system, and I'm surprised other larger forums don't employ similar tactics.

Thought i could leave my browser on this forum to log time. Apparently I have to refresh to get it to log more time.
I have to make 4 more posts in order to start posting in other forums? This is rather inconvenient :/

I've already bought some tf2 items and wanted to leave rep. I guess I should have registered with these forums and not lurked until I needed to post.

It took me an hour to realise this is the only place I could post haha! I guess it serves a purpose though.

Hi, I'm a newb and I just signed up to post to the cigs.eu thread... thought I should warn anyone thinking about purchasing from them that they refuse to honour a stated '100% moneyback guarantee' published on the front page of their site.

Not only that, their 'support' ignored my emails for a month then replied to one of my most recent with a threat to try to prosecute me for 'friendly fraud' and screw up my credit rating/relationship with my bank (their words) if I sought a refund!

I believe a representative of their company is still hocking his wares on his site. So. Would be nice to hear his take.

because there is not clear information abour newbies restrinction, i thing it shoul be some information on first page

It was mentioned on the registration page and you had to mark a checkbox saying you understood those rules.
If you didn't see it there I don't think you would see it on the first page.
